I don't normally post reviews but it's kinda frustrating when they name there business "Natural Sprinkles" but u gotta order the sprinkles ahead of time so u call back the day u tell them you'll be in (a week from order date-they said they'd put my name on the sprinkles). The nice guy that answered the phone knew nothing but will get some ready for me. It really sounds petty but I've left messages for this place and no response. Best ever gluten free mint chocolate brownie. Wow! The frosting was sweet but so light and fluffy. The brownie melted in my mouth. A little slice of heaven without an upset tummy. I tried a mini vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. I would have preferred chocolate on chocolate, which was an option for full size cupcakes. The mini is actually the perfect snack size.The buttercream was good and I liked how they're was a generous amount. However, the crumb of the cupcake was pretty dry, which is not too surprising since it's easy to over bake a mini. I would go back to try a regular size cupcake. The store was really cute. Hopped on in to Sprinkles for some treats today. I bought 2 mocha cupcakes which were incredible! So moist and so much frosting. I loved every bite! I bought a vanilla too but it wasn't as good. While exploring downtown Albany this afternoon, we saw the cutest bakery and decided to pop in & see if they had any vegan options. Having grown up in this area, my hopes weren't high. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that they had two different vegan treat options! My husband got the chocolate buttercream peanut butter cookie sandwich and I had the chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting No lies, that might have been the best cupcake of my life! So happy to see successful small businesses coming to a beautiful part of town- and even more happy to see that they are making cruelty-free goodies more accessible! read more

I found out about this bakery from a post on Facebook. I was glad to hear about this bakery that does not use artificial colors. The store is pretty and clean. The baked goods looked great but I was there to purchase sprinkles. They are made at the bakery and different colors are available. I bought red and white ones for a cake I was making. They tasted alright but they were a little on the hard side, not soft and tender like the usual sprinkles you buy at a grocery store. But I didn't mind, neither did my kids. Well - today I brought home 2 cupcakes to share with my husband and daughter: the chocolate hazelnut and the chocolate with cream cheese icing.
