Outside the restaurant

Was in the area and decided to stop by Kincardine for the street market on Queen street and heard about this restaurant from a friend and stopped in for lunch. Opened 8 months ago. Nice atmosphere with ample seating inside and outside. Social distancing of tables and masks precautions are observed. Staff are super friendly and helpful offering suggestions for sides and drinks. We ordered the grilled cheese with onion rings, vegetable wrap with sweet potato fries and an Arnold Palmer drink. Grilled cheese: the cheese with the caramelized onions is so good. Onion Rings: Crispy, light batter, delicious. Vegetable wrap: burst of flavour, not dry, so savory. Sweet Potato Fries: love sweet potato fries and these were great. With the dip it's a bit saltier than I am used to so I just enjoyed it on its own. Arnold Palmer: refreshing and not too sweet If you are in town, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Great food and awesome, friendly service! Large outdoor patio with umbrellas. Food was great as well as location. Great selection with many vegetarian options such as my portobello mushroom burger. They are one of the few places open on Monday.

I really liked this place! Great bar and grill located right on the Grand River. The cod fish and…read morechips were delicious . Staff was very friendly and helpful. This place would be amazing in the summer to sit out on the patio.

Location/Service Stumbled upon this place while doing a day…read moretrip. This spot is right by the river with patio setup in the summer. Inside is very big and can accommodate large groups (best to reserve in advance). You can also sit by the bar if you like. Typical bar and grill setup - I like the little pieces of decor to spruce up the vibe. Staff were very nice, I'd really like the bartender who gave recommendations for first timers and explain the menu. Food Menu has a lot of typical bar & grill items, but with a Newfoundland twists since it's Newfoundland style. So definitely try dishes that are more known on the east end - like Newfie Fries, Lobsters, Cod au Gratin, Newfie Steak Dinner. The steak is a maple leaf bologna and not you're typical meat - more of the saltier and drier side. Newfie fries is a type of dressing that uses bread crumbs and yellow onions - again more of the saltier side, but it matches quite well with gravy as a poutine. Food pricing overall is very standard and not overly expensive. Portion sizes were very generous, had to pack it to go. Overall a good find if you're in the neighbourhood and traveling, great to explore and learn more about Newfoundland food.

Spouse got a roast beef sandwich with fries that she enjoyed!…read moreDidn't have much comment, but if she's taking the rest home, I know she liked it -- so I'll be fair with that. Tried her fries - they were crisp, but completely unseasoned. I ordered their standard burger with home fries. The home fries were dripping in grease, the burger was bland - no flavour, greasy, over cooked (they didn't even ask how I wanted it cooked to be fair), one piece of bacon crisp, the other raw. I mean...I ate half of it because I was starving, but when the best thing about your burger is the ketchup, you need to rethink either your meat or seasoning. I think what bothered me the most about this place? I left them with a plate over half full of food and the waitress didn't even ask if I enjoyed the meal -- that should be a no-brainer.

There was nothing nothing to worry about. We were served and had cold beer in front of us before we could decide on dinner. The Reuben Sandwich was to die for. The fresh cut fries were hot and perfectly cooked. The gravy was one of the best I have ever had. Our server Megan was very attentive, friendly, and helpful even though she was running off of her feet. I will go back as soon as possible.
