Food Menu has a lot of typical bar & grill items, but with a Newfoundland twists since it's Newfoundland style. So definitely try dishes that are more known on the east end - like Newfie Fries, Lobsters, Cod au Gratin, Newfie Steak Dinner. The steak is a maple leaf bologna and not you're typical meat - more of the saltier and drier side. Newfie fries is a type of dressing that uses bread crumbs and yellow onions - again more of the saltier side, but it matches quite well with gravy as a poutine. Food pricing overall is very standard and not overly expensive. Portion sizes were very generous, had to pack it to go. Then to make thing worse a big guy saying he works here comes up to my fiancé and I and demands that I pay for the drink or get out and makes her cry because she feels threatened by his posturing and instead of having empathy for her he tells her to leave the premises. So other patrons around us start to notice what's going on and chip in to pay the $6.50 the bouncer was getting angry about for the one drink.
