Look for the traffic light and the small square sign - you can't really see the range from Van Dyke. I like hitting balls here in the morning or the early afternoon. There are some shaded spots along the left side, and you can hit off mats or off grass. The late afternoon sun makes it hard to see your ball since it faces directly west. The staff is nice, they have balls that were made this decade, and the mats were respectable. No putting area to speak of, but there are plenty of distances and targets - especially the frustrating "blue man" made out of 50 gallon drums. (so satisfying to hit that guy) Overall, it's cheaper to pay cash, but they take card as well. Have fun

The hall comfortably seats about 168 (21 tables of 8); we had 195 in attendance at our reception (some tables of 10). Regardless, we did not have any complaints about guests feeling "squished" at tables or not having room to move between tables. The staff was able to configure the hall so that each and every person was comfortable and enoying themselves. There were two bartenders that staffed the bar and they did a great job with making sure the bar line was never more than two deep! (With the plated dinner or family style options, the bar does close for an hour during dinner so that the bartenders can help with serving dinner. ) We did family style for our dinner and our guests just raved about the amount of food and the quality of it. My uncle told me he never even picked up a knife to cut his roast beef or chicken - it was so tender he could use his fork for everything! My younger brother (football player) was also estatic that he could order another plate of roasted potatoes just for him! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this location for receptions or showers, as it a beautiful location and priced much more reasonably than their local competitors (we really did our research as we paid for the wedding ourselves). Let me start off by saying my family and friends have belonged and loved Red Run for probably a…read moredecade now. However, my child had a recent experience there that did not sit well with me. My daughter and her two friends (also members of the club) went inside the clubhouse on a weekday afternoon for lunch. They were not dressed paticularly fancy, but they were also not in inappropriate or distressed clothes. Nothing they have not worn hundreds of times with me to eat dinner there. When they arrived, it was an obviously slow afternoon and there was not one other party inside for lunch. When three of them (19 year-olds) walked up to be served, the two hostesses gave them a rude look, then continued seating them. After they were seated and drink orders were taken, the two hostesses and waitress began staring at them from a distance, whispering and clearly pointing as if they didn't have the common sense to know how rude that was. After they had gotten their drinks, a staff member came up to them saying they weren't dressed appropriately to be eating in the clubhouse and had to leave immediately. Embarrassed, the kids left. Now don't get me wrong. I have belonged here for ten years and I am very familiar with the dress code. It is possible the kids were slightly underdressed. However, the way the handled it is what is completely absurd and unprofessional. Why would you seat them, take their drink orders, and whisper and stare before deciding they can't be served? It is so disgustingly rude. Second of all, I know for a fact when I come in with my daughter to eat in the same clothes, they never comment or question the attire. Why? Because it is easy to be rude to young people and get away with it. There was literally no one else in the club eating and they had to waste these kids' time by seating them, then deciding they didn't want to anymore. So gross and unprofessional. We pay for these kids to be members too, so the biased behavior towards mature and respectful young people is almost humorous. I hope the bratty female hostesses and waitress learn this is not the way to handle a situation. I've seen McDonald's workers with more respect towards customers.

We hosted my bridal shower here…read more Sequoia is very helpful and the florals and tables were perfectly arranged. Even the desserts sparkled! The salads and appetizers, which included deviled eggs, caprese, and watermelon and feta, were incredible! We loved the coffee and mimosa as well as juice service. The decorations and florals were arranged well by them, Charvat provided the florals. Sequoia was also kind enough to go above and beyond by moving a high top table outside for our guests to enjoy the weather there too.

One of my brothers worked as a caddy. My dad has golfed here many times over the years as well. The course is quite nice, during all seasons. This is the course where Arnold Palmer had his famous victorious win and launched his career back in 1954. He had played the senior amateur championship many times before passing away. My family and I watched him play during one of the events years back. The course is beautifully kept, pristinely in fact.
