We had so much fun here! I love all the activities that they have available even while you wait for the golf simulator bay areas. They have a pool table, ping-pong, pin bowling, shuffleboard, and putting green area. Cool, lively and fun interior. Also, it was very clean. The staff were nice and helpful. I did not try any food but next time I will order something. The drink I had was so good. It was a regular top-shelf margarita, a little pricey for $20, but it was amazing! Perfect balance of liquor and lime. I'm also glad we decided to go early because I noticed later on in the evening it was getting crowded. Overall, great experience and we will return. read more

I'm in Detroit for work, and my work held an event here last night. Everyone had a really fun time! The place is very big - much bigger than I expected. The staff were all super helpful and nice, and the bar had mocktails, which was really nice as someone who doesn't drink. The poor bartender was a bit overwhelmed, though, and it definitely showed. There were very clear opportunities for improvement, which is the reason for three stars. The music was VERY VERY loud. This isn't like, a boomer "turn the music down" complaint - the music was so loud we had to literally yell at each other to hear, even when sitting right next to each other. The floors and tables were pretty sticky and didn't inspire a ton of confidence in cleanliness. The bathroom was also very small, with 2 or 3 stalls only, and often there was a wait to use the restroom. Would I return? Eh... Not unless someone else was paying. read more

In the basement level of the Cambria hotel, this is a rather unique indoor sports bar with video golf, billiards, and bowling. Great date spot, but also family fun destination. Some of the golfers were very serious, bringing their own clubs and even soft spike golf shoes, but others were playing in tennis shoes with rented clubs. Great date night on an incredibly slow Tuesday after Memorial Day. We were all sleepy after an eventful weekend Bartender was great. Pin bowling was so fun. Wings fell off the bone, although on the small side (IMO BIGback) but still yummy. Place has a really fun vibe to it and I'm sure a great place to escape to if you're staying at the Cambria hotel downtown, it's in the basement I'll be passing the party info onto our marketing coordinator for a possible holiday event. First time ever going golfing in general. I've never done indoor or outdoor golfing so this was just cool in general for me. But I would much prefer outdoor but I get the concept. It was definitely a cool place to vibe out and relax wjth friends! I enjoyed the bowling lanes a whole lot more than the golfing lol it felt like my skills were accurately put to the test. Drinks were potent lol definitely had some good drinks at the bar. And as far as service I did t really order any food but the hospitality was unmatched is a great way! What a cool spot! Took my daughter there for their Duck Pin Bowling. We reserved an hour and had a fun time. The golf simulators were ingenious. Even themes geared towards younger kids with their arcade game style games. The menu has your basic items but the food is good. We had the boneless wings. The photo is after I consumed a few already. This place is located in the basement of the Cambria Hotel in downtown Detroit. We didn't golf but did the Duckpin bowling. It was a great time! I made reservations online. Got there a little early, so we sat & had a drink at the bar. They have a pool table, ping pong tables and what looks to be a huge "lite bright" board. We were able to get our lane a little early. We were NOT in a rush but thankful they could accommodate us. The establishment is clean. It's surprising not loud, in my opinion. Very affordable. Staff were great! This place was SO much fun and the hotel is absolutely stunning! An adult size light bright, bowling, golf simulators, and shuffle board... we just slowly made our way around the room and dabbled in everything and had so much fun! We got her around midnight so we only spent time at the bar. The place does have duckpin bowling, pool, and golf simulators. This is the same building as the cambira hotel where we were staying. The bar tender was cool and noticed that a couple in our party got married and gave them free drinks which was nice. It was dark and I enjoyed the vibe. I want to go back and try the duckpin bowling. 4/5 stars. read more

So this was a cool little spot. After you come to the building you got to go downstairs and they have a lot of space dedicated toward it which has a bar, it has a bowling game section, it has golfing of course, has a lot of space and a lot of room to move around. So you can actually throw an event here and not run into a lot of other people. Bartender was super cool, didn't get food, I don't even know if they have food, but they have drinks and plenty of them. We got to the bowling part right next to the bar so the bar service was good and she was super attentive. Also play ping pong there so that I was actually fun except they're only a couple of tables so keep that in mind. If you want to do the virtual golf, this is a good place, they have clubs lined up for you to pick from. They have a lot of different screens. There are people who are there for recreation with friends and there are people who are there to practice their swing. You can do both. The mini bowling part, that was actually pretty cool too. They have maybe up to eight lanes, give or take, of this. It's just like a regular bowling alley, you have a screen you pay attention to to figure out your score, same rules as regular bowling alleys. again I had a good time, I would definitely come here again. Only I would come with a bunch of people and not just a small handful, just because it makes it more enjoyable. But you can actually come around a date night too if you're into that, it'll be really fun if you're into competitiveness with your date. read more

This review is for the food, not the golf. While staying in the hotel, I needed food after a long day of travel and ordered the boneless buffalo wings and a garden salad. The wings smelled good but were burned and dry and the blue cheese was in a tiny, shallow dish. The salad was a basic salad. They did give two of their small dressings for the salad. The food was an extra disappointment to my already long day. The staff was nice and attentive. I wish the food was better. read more

You need a reservation for golf and duck pin bowling but everything else you can grab when open. Duck pin bowling is a must! It's a lot of fun and something unique to do with friends. Five Iron Golf - Detroit, was awesome!! Their new space in downtown Detroit is a great vibe, our group of ~15 went for a corporate happy hour and had a blast! Their golf simulators offer fun competitive games and for those who were less inclined to full swing, their putting greens, billiard tables, and nail games were a huge hit. Their pizza, dip trio and sandwiches were delicious - I've never seen such a high pile of nachos. The drinks were great and Maria and her team offered great customer service. I wanna give 5i a 1 star and a 5 star! Let's start with the positives! 5i is so vibey! It's great for all ages and it's hella affordable! We had a great time celebrating my daughter's 16th Birthday! With that being said I hate hate hate how you can't bring in desserts for birthdays especially since there is no competition with food because purchasing cake, cupcakes, candy isn't on the menu! It's a complete shame not to be able to celebrate fully with cake and such for special occasions when literally that entire vibe is for celebrating! The food is trash! Complete trash! If yall don't out source yall food and fast! No one liked their food! They dealt with it because it was their only option but the food was and is trash! Everything looked dry and basic and boring! While I'm happy the food is and option bar food should be good! Not great but good! I would suggest getting with pizza cat or something similar or get better food! It isn't hard! Please change y'all cake policy because birthday business can boom! Ppl want their cake and cupcakes!
