    Pin bowling

Great date night on an incredibly slow Tuesday after Memorial Day. We were all sleepy after an eventful weekend Bartender was great. Pin bowling was so fun. Wings fell off the bone, although on the small side (IMO BIGback) but still yummy. Place has a really fun vibe to it and I'm sure a great place to escape to if you're staying at the Cambria hotel downtown, it's in the basement I'll be passing the party info onto our marketing coordinator for a possible holiday event. Fun place!!

First time ever going golfing in general. I've never done indoor or outdoor golfing so this was just cool in general for me. But I would much prefer outdoor but I get the concept. It was definitely a cool place to vibe out and relax wjth friends! I enjoyed the bowling lanes a whole lot more than the golfing lol it felt like my skills were accurately put to the test. Drinks were potent lol definitely had some good drinks at the bar. And as far as service I did t really order any food but the hospitality was unmatched is a great way! Definitely a great activity especially if you're in a hotel room above it

What a cool spot! Took my daughter there for their Duck Pin Bowling. We reserved an hour and had a fun time. The golf simulators were ingenious. Even themes geared towards younger kids with their arcade game style games. The menu has your basic items but the food is good. We had the boneless wings. The photo is after I consumed a few already. It had such a fun vibe and will be back again.

This place was SO much fun and the hotel is absolutely stunning! An adult size light bright, bowling, golf simulators, and shuffle board... we just slowly made our way around the room and dabbled in everything and had so much fun! The Bar had a great selection with top notch service and drinks were made well! What a great place for a work event or simply to hang out with some friends or make new ones like we did the downstairs bar in the Cambria hotel has a great happy hour too, so you could certainly attend both in one night and then top off the night with the rooftop bar(check hotel for rooftop hours)

This place is located in the basement of the Cambria Hotel in downtown Detroit. We didn't golf but did the Duckpin bowling. It was a great time! I made reservations online. Got there a little early, so we sat & had a drink at the bar. They have a pool table, ping pong tables and what looks to be a huge "lite bright" board. We were able to get our lane a little early. We were NOT in a rush but thankful they could accommodate us. The establishment is clean. It's surprising not loud, in my opinion. Very affordable. Staff were great! I will definitely be back.

Very fun place to hang out! I went here for the Yelp event and wow what a hidden gem. Putt putt golf, service was phenomenal, bowling and so much more. I will definitely be having my daughter's birthday!

So this was a cool little spot. After you come to the building you got to go downstairs and they have a lot of space dedicated toward it which has a bar, it has a bowling game section, it has golfing of course, has a lot of space and a lot of room to move around. So you can actually throw an event here and not run into a lot of other people. Bartender was super cool, didn't get food, I don't even know if they have food, but they have drinks and plenty of them. We got to the bowling part right next to the bar so the bar service was good and she was super attentive. Also play ping pong there so that I was actually fun except they're only a couple of tables so keep that in mind. If you want to do the virtual golf, this is a good place, they have clubs lined up for you to pick from. They have a lot of different screens. There are people who are there for recreation with friends and there are people who are there to practice their swing. You can do both. The mini bowling part, that was actually pretty cool too. They have maybe up to eight lanes, give or take, of this. It's just like a regular bowling alley, you have a screen you pay attention to to figure out your score, same rules as regular bowling alleys. again I had a good time, I would definitely come here again. Only I would come with a bunch of people and not just a small handful, just because it makes it more enjoyable. But you can actually come around a date night too if you're into that, it'll be really fun if you're into competitiveness with your date.

Food samples that we got were very tasty, the service was awesome and the staff was very helpful, and on point.

This place is a great venue to host parties and there are golf activities for all ages available. The food is pretty standard fare, but the drinks are yummy and will keep you enjoying the game. The lighting is a perfect balance of dimness to see the screens while light enough that you can engage with people and not feel like you are underground (though you are!). Fun times!!!

Located in the Cambria Hotel basement. Interesting and fun place to hang out. There's street parking or hotel valet parking for $15. There is a variety of things to do at 5i such as ping pong, golf, duck bowling, etc. There's also a food menu and drinks! If you work up a sweat, there are showers!

This review is for the food, not the golf. While staying in the hotel, I needed food after a long day of travel and ordered the boneless buffalo wings and a garden salad. The wings smelled good but were burned and dry and the blue cheese was in a tiny, shallow dish. The salad was a basic salad. They did give two of their small dressings for the salad. The food was an extra disappointment to my already long day. The staff was nice and attentive. I wish the food was better.

We also tried the fried chicken muffaletta sandwich and burger with tots and crinkle fries. The chicken sandwich is really tasty if you like olives, which I do. It came out on a nice seeded bun freshly fried and hot. Yum. Hubby enjoyed the burger and added bacon - they have really nice thick sliced bacon. It was cooked perfectly with a nice soft bun. I'm pretty sure the fries and tots are just frozen and presented well - at $11 and $12 for those, you might just skip those and get the meatball parm sliders because they're seriously delicious. I plan to return just for those - they're the best thing on the menu. Homemade patties and sauce; top notch. But, the crinkle fries do come with this yummy homemade malted mayo as well as ketchup, and I really enjoyed that. The tots are dusted with a spicy salty seasoning which made them maybe a touch too salty. Both of those came out super hot and crispy though, which I definitely appreciate. Overall, a very tasty meal that had care put into it. The host and server were both very friendly and our service was perfect. It's a little pricey for bar food, but at least it's good bar food, and you can't beat the ambiance for sports. Solid.

The beer list online (which I reviewed to prepare myself) was not entirely accurate. Their beer list on the wall didn't really explain what anything was so for people, such as myself, from outside the area and unfamiliar with the local breweries it was a challenge. I can see how it would be fun to come here with a group.

Fair to say the Asian Chicken Salad is good, but not great. It's a massive portion with plenty of Napa cabbage and spinach, providing that much-needed crunch. However, the grilled chicken was a bit of a letdown--it really needed more flavor and seasoning to hold its own. The saving grace and clear highlight were the spiced cashews. They actually had some personality and stood out as the best part of the dish. It's a solid enough choice if you're looking to stay on the healthy side while hanging out in a sports bar, but it's not a "must-order. She's in poor health, and in the chaos of leaving home I forgot to bring something to wrap her nighttime medication in. Since TAP has turkey sandwiches on their menu, I explained that I was a hotel guest and asked if they could spare a small piece of turkey - just enough to wrap a pill in for an elderly dog upstairs. A kitchen worker (who was very nice, by the way) offered to check, but the chef refused outright. Not "this is against XYZ policy," not "we're too busy," just a flat no. I was standing right there for the entire exchange. Anyone genuinely suited to a hospitality role would have recognized this as an easy moment to generate some goodwill, but instead, the chef shut it down without a second thought. I spent a lot to stay at the MGM Grand Detroit Hotel, and this interaction left a genuinely negative impression of MGM overall. It made an already difficult day worse. I truly hope the individual who refused this request can one day recognize that hospitality is built on moments exactly like this.
