After 36 hours of absolutely no sleep, I get the bad news that my grandmother may not make it through the night. In a panic, I rush out the door with the kids and load up my truck to only lose the key. The one key that doesn't have a spare. After calling places to get the ignition replaced, my husband came across Lock & Roll and decide it wouldn't hurt to call and see if they could help. I called Abdul the next day and he said he could come later in the day to get it done knowing this would not be an easy task. If you like to be price gouged, this is your place. They tried to charge me 85$ to have a duplicate car key made for my vehicle. Mind you it was a key with no chip so just a simple machine cut. The guy tried to give me some excuse that it had to be laser cut so was more expensive. Needless to say, I knew he was full of it. I walked out and got the key for 27$ elsewhere. Also, I overheard the customer in front me get charged 27 dollars for two regular pad lock keys(with available keys to copy). Every other locksmith I have been to has charged me between 2-6$ for a replacement key made via machine. I got a replacement mail box key made at the competitor today for 2$(this place couldnt even make it)Mind you, its his business so he can charge what he wants.. but dont give bs excuses for why you are trying to overcharge compared to your competitors.
