One of which can be found at Sleepy Hollow farm. The farm doesn't have just a grassy field where they filmed (although they did film the pumpkin patch scenes here, too) the farm holds a very special place for fans of the show- police chief Jim Hopper's cabin! The production crew built the cabin on the farm and the farm uses it between filming as, get this, an escape room! Now, my wife and I had never done an escape room before, but when we learned that we could actually go into the actual set where so many of those cool scenes were filmed, well we quickly decided to go to Sleepy Hollow farm and check it out. It did not disappoint. The "game master" was a sweet girl that gave us some great background information about the show and filming before she gave us the rules and set us up in Hopper's cabin. While we were geeking out, right at first, about being IN the actual movie set, we quickly set out on solving the mystery (which I won't divulge here, so not to ruin the fun for you). It was a bit tricky, but we were successful in solving the puzzle with just under two minutes to spare (which I thought was pretty good for our first time ever doing this sort of thing). The game master validated our pomposity by telling us that this particular game only has a 35% success rate! Maybe she was just telling us that to make us feel good about ourselves or maybe it was true and it was just beginners luck, but either way, we solved it and had an amazing time doing it! We had plenty of time to take pictures afterwards and the game master was very accommodating and even took some cool photos for us. There are lots of other fun things to do on the farm and, if you've got little ones, I highly recommend the outdoor obstacle course and the petting zoo. As for cost, it was probably a bit more expensive than a regular escape room experience, but for the memories we made, the pictures we have and the overall experience- it was well worth it!

The pricing was low and I'd even say a steal for the experience. The game master provided clear concise instructions. His enthusiasm really set the tone for the game. He also gave us all the fun facts and details about how the cabin exterior and some interior was actually part of the Stranger Things set. The game challenge level was just the right level of difficulties and the clues and theme as a whole was very well thought out. This was definitely a gem we stumbled across in our visit to Atlanta and arguably one of the highlights of our trip. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

I was confused because Lock City Adventures was advertised as this fun gaming place with axe throwing, board games, VR game sets and more. However, the interior looked more like an old storage facility that wasn't well taken care of. The board games were literally three games: Jumbo Jenga, worn out deck of UNO cards and jumbo Connect Four. The young lady that assisted us was sweet, and she was working solo so it took her some time to clean the used rooms and turn them over for the next group. The rage room itself, did what it was supposed to do. It offered a safe space to let out some aggression and zone out. I love that they have a Bluetooth speaker in each room and you can play your own music. The package I purchased came with one large item. We were given a windshield. I liked the variety of tools to use to destroy things, and the powder bombs were a nice touch. Many have mentioned that it's overpriced. I am sure the price to acquire and constantly replace items isn't cheap. So I cut them slack on that. My largest concern is the cleanliness of the jumpsuits and helmets. They did not appear to be replaced or disinfected between customers. Besides that, we enjoyed our experience and may do a rage room again someday, but will definitely not visit Lock City Adventures for gaming.

You have to purchase a package of breakables and then buy more if you need to smash more - which, promise me, you will. Each size category of breakables increases in price. The room itself was cozy and the staff members were super helpful when teaching us the rules. I love that they have a band aid kit on the wall! My only gripes were that with a large group, the breakables run out pretty quickly. We did spent quite a bit of time destroying a windshield, but with that the impact was less explosive. The safety helmets in our room were also unstable and were kept falling down my face. They have other games like Uno, Jenga, and Connect 4 in the lobby area when you're waiting for a room to open up or after your session which is great!

They are located on the bottom level of Arbor Place Mall, next to Sears and the Barber Shop. I found out about this location on Groupon while searching for things to do in the Metro Atlanta area and called to inquire about pricing. I recommend choosing the package with the person taking your photos if you go alone or are not as good at taking your own pictures. Selfie Paradise will provide you with dedicated staff for the hour tour to take your pictures. Upon speaking with the manager, I learned about the package tiers and realized that the interactive tour would be best for me, since I wanted to have someone capture my pictures and videos for me on my own phone. I made an appointment two weeks before and this gave me a full hour tour with staff on sight to take our pictures. For an additional cost, you can have one of their photographers capture your images on a DSLR camera for a full blown photoshoot. Alyssa was so helpful with explaining how things worked and she provided recommendations on where to find the letters for this celebration. Tori and Alex were there during my tour and were very fun, professional, and sweet. They set a mood for us with music of our choice, helped me with posing, and we took several photos and videos in the different rooms and backdrops. There were ring lights, tripods, and props on sight and we were able to bring our own letters and balloons. We also received complimentary macaroons after our visit. I had the salted caramel and Alieshia had a strawberry one. We didn't get to utilize all rooms during the hour, so I'm considering coming back for a bday photoshoot soon. Saturdays are a busy time so make sure to make an appointment to guarantee your spot. Also, there is a Tok Blok location right next door that is smaller, and allows you to go through on your own and capture your own content for TikTok (or other platforms). We went there after our interactive tour. It's self led, but Taylor was there when we visited to help us with setting up the ring light and tripod and share a few tips for capturing pictures on our phones. Both experiences were fun and extremely affordable (especially through Groupon). I highly recommend it. The staff was so friendly and we had a great time.

Bear Creek Nature Center is a hidden gem in Chattahoochee Hills, GA. This is a small animal refuge…read more/ hiking location (with a waterfall nearby) / and conservation center. This non-profit organization is home to numerous reptiles, amphibians, and birds. They even have the only live bats at a nature center in all of Georgia. Admission is $5 per car/driver and $3 for each additional person in your group. This is a great spot for families. They even let my kids pet any small animal in the facility of their choosing. We were given a personal tour of the place and the hike was good for all members of the group. Since not too many people know about this place yet, there was no issue parking. The staff were friendly as well. You can also follow the latest updates of their animals on their FB page. I hope to go back again soon.

I remember visiting BAB as a kid and it was always such a special experience…read more So when I became a mom, I knew I would take my child to enjoy the magical experience as well. So when I learned that they now offer 'pay your age' birthday specials, I wanted to be sure that we visited to celebrate his 1st birthday. Before we visited I called to be sure that everything was in working condition after we tried to visit another location and their stuffer was down. :( Lucky us, I was assured that all was well at the Arbor Place location. When we arrived at the mall, I loved that I knew we were in the right spot thanks to the little bears adorning the hallway wall. When we entered, there were about 3 other families inside and employees were busy helping everyone make their bears. We were quickly greeted by Tracey who was the sweetest person ever. She explained the process to us (since it's been over 2 decades since I had been there), and prepared a sticker for our little one as well as a birthday bear crown. She even sang him a little song!! He liked her a lot. :) After his birthday song, we went about stuffing the bear, adding his heart and we even recorded a sweet message for our little one. After his bear was stuffed, we went about looking for outfits. They do offer a $25 birthday pack which includes a recording, a birthday shirt + pants and something else I forgot. I decided against that as the birthday fit would date the bear and I wanted it to be something Julian could have forever. There were so many cute options and themes such as Girl Scouts, Harry Potter and Easter fits to celebrate the upcoming holiday. They had an adorable Hawks uniform and a Braves jersey, but no Atlanta United! My partner loves all sports, but played soccer so that was what we hoped for at first. We decided to go with the Braves jersey and it was absolutely adorable on his little bear. All in all, such a fantastic experience at this location thanks to the the Build-A-Bear team - especially Tracey! Thank you for making my son's 1st birthday bear experience wonderful.
