Out of all the gun stores in the Valley this one has the worst customer service ever. The lady in the front desk is so rude, her attitude is trash and doesn't know sh*t about guns. I'm like 45 minutes away and she want me to go to the store to see if they have the guns or rifles I'm looking for? She can't just simply tell me on the phone if they have it or not? Every time I call I'm hoping a different person will answer the phone but, every time she answers the rudeness is always there and telling me that she can't help me and I need to go to the store. SMH. I don't even know how she's even still working there. I bought a rifle from them last month and I'm not trying to buy only 1 gun I'm always looking for a gun to add to my collection. I buy guns and rifles from stores in the Valley not online to support my local gun stores. But, this time she hung up on me on the phone so I'm done dealing with this store I won't give them any more of my business. read more

I was a customer of American Shooters for a long time prior to this place opening up. I am glad it did. It is right down the street and the gun selection is superb. They also have good deals on equipment and ammo, not to mention their guns can sometimes be $200-$300 cheaper than some other shops in the valley. All of the staff is very helpful, and they do not treat you with respect and not some pion. I have not had a negative experience here, and I look forward to making any future firearms purchases with them. read more

I've been going to this store for a few years now even dating back to when they were a small store in Henderson. I've never purchased a firearm from them but have allowed my FFL transfers to be sent here with no problems. Las Vegas local so I like to browse around different shops for firearms and supplies. This experience was quite enjoyable. You walk in and are greeted by their staff. I was browsing their handgun selection for the Type B and Steve came over and introduced himself. I told him which firearm I was interested in and within seconds, I had it in my hands. The customer service I received from, Steve was excellent. He was informative and friendly. For about thirty minutes, we just talked shop while the paperwork was being written up and processed. He shared a lot of information, so I highly recommend if anyone is new to firearms or wants to learn more about the topic, head over and find Steve. I had a chance to speak with some of their other staff members as well, and everyone was kind and informative. This is definitely a solid place to go if you're interested in firearms. Fairly small shop but crammed full of goodies. I wish they had more space to carry things like holsters and gun belts. Employees were friendly and helpful. We bought a large Pelican there that I'd never seen in another gun shop. It will come in handy to lock up all kind of goodies in. It's large enough to lock up a couple of laptops or several hand guns. Can't comment in price but the staff is super friendly, knowledgable and most importantly helpful. Just moved to town and they gave me a quick run down on Vegas and Henderson gun regs and laws. They seem to have a great selection and had no problem sending me to a competitors range because, they have good prices and times and you can shoot your own gun and ammo. This was my first time purchasing a firearm and it was a great experience! I'm a novice in the gun world and had many questions prior to choosing my rifle and the guys (mainly one, but two others chimed in as well) were incredibly patient and helpful in answering all of them. We spent probably 45 minutes to 1 hour discussing the functions of the different parts on the gun along with comparing/contrasting different makes and models. He is knowledgeable, very friendly and can explain function and features of the guns which, for someone like me who isn't very experienced is great. I had a warranty replacement of a pistol from Smith and Wesson. Usually firearms transfers to an ffl with no extra purchase aren't very popular with gunnstores (in my experience). Lock and Load was reasonable, courteous, prompt, and went the extra mile to make sure it was a positive experience. Because I am not an American Citizen there is an extra step in approval - DHS has to approve - we had filled out all the forms, paid all the fees, and just had to wait for DHS to call back. I left because this beaureaucratic process is usually days long. One of the employees came running across the parking lot to tell me DHS had called right back and I was able to take my new pistol that day. Exceptional customer service - I plan to do all my business with them (purchases not transfers) and recommend them to all my friends and clients - thanks Lock and Load for the great service. read more

Been going here since it opened and I've never had an issue! They are very polite and informative. No pushy sales people, just gun lovers like me. If you ask a question the politely answer and give their opinions. It's ultimately up to you on what firearm to purchase. I highly recommend this place! And if you are wondering, yes I've purchased over thousands of dollars in firearms because of the competitive pricing. If you're sensitive about customer service, be prepared. I gave 5 stars because the number of times I've been there in the past couple of months have been pleasant without any trouble or drama and as the one guy put it..it's his review of his visit so U (LnL) want the truth don't U? LnL had been in place for about 8 months before I had a chance to go in there..I live in Henderson down at the corner of Horizon Ridge & Eastern so I was going to 'The Gun Store' for my gun transfers & other small "things"..but LnL is that much closer to me so I had to check it out..especially since I watch a lot of truTV and their commercial plays constantly...I didn't know what to expect the first time I went in there and it probably was not a good idea to go in on a Saturday for the first visit...I had my buddy drive me over there and being disabled I use a walker or scooter mostly...so I went in there with the walker..it was a shock at first and I could not get thru the people...it is a very small store compared to most other commerical (non mom & pop) stores so even with a handful of people I couldn't get thru with the walker...but that also gives leeway for the employees to get to know U and take a more personal approach to U if possible...it's clean & organized and the employees R knowledgable & seemed happy to answer my questions... I did go in there to look around just to see what they had...I found a pink Taurus 24/7 on consignment and was able to put it on layaway to give me a chance to make 2 payments...from my past gun stores I've worked in or with...30 days is not really much for a layaway...but in this economy something is better than nothing...& living on a fixed income 2 payments is better than one...plus the amount I spent on the consignment was the same as if I would have bought it cheaper from my buddy on-line and paid the transfer fees, etc. So I thought it was a good deal....as I am trying to buy all the pink guns I can.... When it's "my turn" I did feel like the employee (male or female) was giving me h/her attention and did h/her best to help me...As a disabled person I have since found the best way to go in there is with a cane only & to try to catch a non-busy weekday..(for those of U who might be in the same boat as I am) And those R the pros... Now for the few cons I have...and these R nothing compared to some others...but obviosly it is a small store and they cannot do much with all that stuff....so it's difficult for me to stand in there for a long amount of time ~ but even so it is very organized. And it would be nice if they had a range..even a 1 or 2 lane range would be great...also ~ and I know U guys out there will think I'm crazy ~ but I like to promote the places I like..T-shirts, hats, etc...& I'm a big dyke and I wear a 4x/5x T-shirt and theirs onlly go up to 2x right now...so that is very disabppointing...they tell me they R going to get some 3X's..but they really need to get the bigger sizes too in my opinion...I know U guys out there will call me crazy but that is important to me so I thought I'd mention it... Therefore, I say so far I cannot complain...I've only been there a handful of times...but my experiences have been good ones and I plan to continue to frequent that store until they give me a reason not to....but plz....U's know which T-shirts I want....plz get the bigger sizes! THANX for all your help so far and I'll be back!! I give U's A+++ so far.. I feel bad that one of the reviews is negative but now U know what people think....As a person with a bacherlor's in Business Mgmt & master's in Organizational Mgmt & almost completion of my doctorate in Mgmt & Ldrship...it pains me to see reviews like that knowing what could be done to try to fix those issues..cause in this day and age...businesses cannot afford to loose any customers no matter how small..I think anyway. I have used this store on many occasions for supplies and things I can purchase being as I live in California. I usually pick up gear, targets, and occasional ammo. I have never had any issues with anyone here and I'm always pleased with the knowledge and service I get. When I'm there I usually deal with Sidney as he has always had the answers I needed and the knowledge of the products always allowing me to make the right choice. Great store good bunch of people. Bought a rifle from Classic Firearms and had it shipped to Lock and Load. I was notified by Fedex when it was delivered. I called and asked when it would be ready to pick up and the person I spoke to was very rude and had a very arrogant attitude. He informed me that they get in hundreds of guns every day and that it would take them awhile to get to mine and process it. He then informed me that I would receive a call when it was ready for pickup. I asked when that might be and he just repeated the same thing again. His whole presentation was rude, non caring, and reeked of very poor customer service. read more

Hello everybody I am writing up a review on this facility even though I've spent a lot of money with these people. I am taking my time to write this review because of one person that works there a lady kind a tall blonde hair with glasses cause everybody honey. That yesterday I walked into the gun Store there was no line outside as I walked in instead of being greeted by this employee I was rudely criticized by walking in while the lady was working cashier had two customers in front of her instead of taking care of the customers that were in front of her she was deeply concerned why I was in the store. And then I overhear her telling the customers how rude and disrespectful I was. Even though I was not rude I was walking in there to buy a handgun. I've called a couple of times and this lady picks it up rudely says what do you want we're so busy I can't tell you what we have in stock very routine. The only decent person there is the bald guy that always has a smile on his face all the other people that work there are pretty trashy ghetto people that work there. I will never go back I will never spend my money with these people again. I've noticed only desperate people go there to buy a handgun or a long gun. I've shopped around to numerous stores in town by golly I could tell you they are the most rude people that work there. I don't know how a consumer feels by a person calling them honey that is so unprofessional and inconsiderate to a customer that comes into their store and spends six figures every time they walk in my own wife does not call me honey so unprofessional I will never go back. Buyer beware think twice before you walk in there I recommend discount firearms, precision Armory, and gun shop Vegas if These three companies do not have guns. I guess you won't have a choice to go to this gun store but me personally if there are the last person on earth I will never buy from them again.
