I was five minutes late for a appointment I had at a barbershop in imperial beach called good times which I don't refer to anybody customer service was rude. . I was pretty upset when I was driving east on Palm Ave I saw my now Barber Justino standing in the window, I parked my car got out and walked into the shop and asked if he had time to cut my hair. Justino without any hesitation said sure and have a seat and I'll get with you in five minutes!!!Justino gave me one of the cleanest fades I ever had, and now I have a set appointment. The following Friday was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself and he gave me a men's facial and cut. I refer all the homies to Justino and the Locker Room IB. I used to get my hair cut at Floyd's 99 which is were I met my barber Dari. She recently moved down to the southbay which is a little bit of a longer drive but totally worth it. She does excellent work along with paying attention to detail.  My hair grows in multiple different ways which I have had problems in the past with others cutting my hair. This is why I make the drive. I throughly enjoy the setting and atmosphere of the shop as well. Not like typical waiting areas. They have a high top table with 8-10 chairs around so you get the family vibe. Also I saw a bunch of trophies which are the owners of the shop. Overall this place gets a 5 out of 5 . Iliane is not only a good hairstylist but she's also a good host, making me feel welcome when I visit The Locker Room. I love the management, the friendly atmosphere and even the music they be bumpin. Mama Lion aka Ilaine always knows what to do with my hair, color, haircut, treatment and style wise.. she knows what she's doing. Best news is she's got reasonable pricing! Just to begin with I'm HUGE ! HUGE ! HUUGE! with sanitation because my son has eczema and is very sensitive and they always clean all their implements before cutting my sons hair. He always leaves with a great haircut and the prices are sooo affordable... the staff is so friendly and always make us feel comfortable and at peace when we come in to the shop. They also have a really cool line of gel ( Evolution ) that we've been buying that doesn't flake the hair or make my sons head itchy ! My son refuses to go anywhere else for his haircuts too! First off I was super impressed with the customer service here. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and connected with a barber that could take care of exactly what I was looking for. There is ample parking both in front and back of the shop. This barber shop is immaculate! Clean, modern, and old school all at the same time! These guys (and gal) all take appointments if desired but are all also willing to accommodate walk-ins. If I could give 6 stars I would. Justin has been my barber for the last 6 years. If it wasn't for me moving out of SD, I would not have had to go somewhere else. Actually, I moved to Murrieta, and him and his crew are top notch to the point where I commuted the 1.5 hour drive once a week to continue getting my haircut. Him and Meli make you feel at home and treat you as if your part of the Locker Room family. I have gone to them, have taken all my kids as well as referred them to other family members and friends. This shop has been incredible since day 1. I moved to the area a couple months ago and stumbled across this place since it's close by. I typically am very skeptical when it comes to getting my haircut, but Justino hooked me up. And I have been returning (with friends and family) since. I can't get enough of this place. I just moved to Imperial Beach and I've been looking for a place to cut my hair, and I found the locker room barbershop on yelp. I went in yesterday and it was pretty busy but I was greeted and attended quickly. I told the barber what I wanted and he knew exactly what to do. He even trimmed my facial hair which was nice. The barbers name was Benjamin, he was a very cool guy and made me feel comfortable in his chair. The barbershop was nice and clean. Absolutely love it! Kid friendly environment, no fowl language,My Son use to hate getting his haircut; but now he runs with open arms to greet his Barber! Great place for kids, Very clean restroom! Okay!!! So i had a slight hair emergency my son desperately need a cut and my time was running close, i reached out to @jcutzonpoint because he had done a great good before but he was unavailable. He did recommended @adrianblendz and Thank God he was Patient and sweet. To give you the full picture we left the house at 7am and at 7pm, my son was getting his haircut. I love this place. Iliane is an amazing barber. I've used many barbers and barber shops and Iliane is the only one who knows what to do with my unruly hair. Its CLEAN, its COMFORTABLE, and more than Likey the best damn haircut you'll find anywhere. Fade so smooth you can polish chrome on that thing. My 13-year-old is suuuuuper finicky on his haircuts. Recommended by family, we tried it out. His barber did EXACTLY what he asked, and we were out quickly. I like the fact that parking was easy, right in front! I got to go grab a Starbucks while the staff took care of him without mama bear having to hover! By far the beat barbershop! All the barbers here are very professional and skilled. Most seem to offer appointments via an app so it's super convenient to get an appt with them. I've been taking my son to Justino for the last 4 years. We used to drive 15 minutes to get cut by him. Now we followed him from Chula Vista to IB and drive out 25 min to get cut by him.
