However, the last year or so the quality of service has fallen so far down that I will not be going back and I think people should steer clear of this location. I gave them two, even three chances to redeem themselves, but the last straw for me was when came in and requested a "modern mullet" style haircut and even had an example. The cut I got is so terrible I actually felt the need to tell him myself before leaving. To make things worse the cut is practically not able to be saved and I might have to go straight to a buzz cut. I hope this helps someone make their decision.

I waited a week before I wrote this, because I don't want any problems with the barber. will continue to come to this shop. Before I start let me say that most not all but most of the barbers there are excellent. And that's because of this last time my son and I came in. whoever this barber is was completely obnoxious with my son. I know he moves but he's just a kid. And your tone of voice with him was inappropriate. I didn't wanna cause a seen so I kept my anger in but now I can say what I need to say. I will never go back to this barber again he rushed my sons cut, and his line up was crooked probably cause he was so damn high. And yes I mean high cause I could smell the weed, that cheap cologne doesn't mask anything honey. I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and sat in the middle of the row. He was loud and didn't seem like he even belongs there, his personality definitely doesn't match the rest of the amazing barbers there. 3 stars cause up until now we have had great experiences but this guy ruined it for the rest of the bunch. read more

My friend took a chance at this barbershop on an early afternoon. Didn't wait very long as a walk-in. That was nice. In the end, he was alright and content with the haircut, but the lack of professionalism was tacky. While he was getting his hair cut, the barbers there kept pulling out their cell phones and text messaging back their notifications. My friend's barber answered and chit chat on his phone the entire time with one hand and with the other buzzer in hand while cutting hair. Ugh. The barber did not engage conversation with my friend and was not listening to his specific requests. He cut his hair too short and left a sloppy job wiping off the cut hair around his ears. I have been going to Shortstop Barbershop since it has opened, and i have to say its the best barbershop i ever been to! All barbers are excellent at what they do. They also are super nice people. Barbershops can suck while your waiting, but at Shortstop its a fun time! They always have good music playing, nice cool temperature, television to watch sports and even Games! Even the prices are great! Just a perfect place to cut hair. Also delicious places to grab a bite to eat surrounding it! Im so glad that I found Shortstop Barbershop!!! I had such a great experience I cant go anywhere else!! I have a young son that always gives me a hard time when it comes to getting his haircut. Recently, I brought him to get a cut and I was nervous about how he'd act especially cause he was already tired and cranky. He sat in the chair with a barber named KNOX and he was so wonderful with him! He was so quick with the cut and patient with my son, who is usually hard to cut, and gave him one of the best haircuts that he's ever had. Thank you knox for being so great to my son!! This is the last time I come here. Nick is very unprofessional and has terrible customer service skills. After making an appointment one day in advance, he decides to reschedule my appointment (which I was on time for), in order to cut his friends hair. I don't appreciate this at all and Nick will waste your time! He even tried to refer me to another barber as if I did something wrong. Your barber needs to learn how to better schedule himself and be professional overall! Thank you for your time I hope this is brought to his attention. read more

I really like coming here especially if I want to get a quick line-up or trim. The barbers are all very nice and professional. Every time I go in I am always greeted with a smile. However that is not the best part, sometimes it is hard to find a barber that can cut my hair to my specifications, but when I found Melissa that changed. I can sit in her chair and be confident that my cut will be satisfactory and I am very picky so cudos to her. And for her work she is reasonable priced and you cannot beat that. read more

This place is great I was looking for a place that can do a skin fade and these guys and lady (Melisa) can hook it up. I have been here 3 times and each time tried someone new to get the perfect fit.
