Called in before going to see what the co-work situation was like, I believe I spoke with the owner who invited us over, and gave us a complimentary visit to use their space for the day, since it was a holiday and not super busy. The studio itself is very artsy, and just a block from hermosa beach. There are some conference rooms, some private working spaces and some open working spaces. They have free Wi-Fi and It was fairly quiet. They also have a coffee/tea machine and some complimentary snacks if you have a membership with them. The service was great, as every interaction we had with the owner/manager was superb. He even came in to check in with us to see how our visit was going and introduced us to all their various locations and their vibes. The parking can be tough since it's so close to the beach, you have to be lucky to find a spot, which fortunately, I was! Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a workday, or a monthly subscription. Especially if you're a creative. The vibes here are immaculate and will bring out the best of your imagination!

Over the years I have been at 3 co-working spaces in Pasadena and CTRL COLLECTIVE is far and away the best. Best location off of Arroyo. Best equipment -- good wifi and great quality computers in the event I need one. Most privacy when I need it for phone calls. Easy to use the printer when I need it as well. And Gia and the front desk staff are helpful and humane. I say humane because I can occasionally be a bit helpless and they are always very quick, kind, and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere is good and always work-friendly. A few years back I worked at a different coworking space in Pasadena and on weekends it would get very loud. Like, screaming kids loud.
