If I didn't have these guys I would of been so screwed, Thank you Garry for fixing my bike multiple times. Even moved appointments around for an emergency call. Dude is well knowledgeable and has no problem educating people on there bikes and what is wrong with them. Personally if I knew more I would work for him. read more

he very slow and was 4 days late changing my tires also charge me 30 for each inter tube he the one that pop it ,never again also lost my wheel spacer I pay 160$ for labor overprice and he will try to get every penny out of it read more

I took my 2002 Indian Spirit in because the new battery would not stay charged. Thay found that the bolt holding the Stater was loose and the rectifier was not functioning properly. A different local shop changed out the clutch cable for me but didn't replace the worn bushings and pin. In the last 2 years I have had the bike in 4 different shops. Lockrem has been the most professional shop. Go here first. You won't need to go anywhere else. Greg read more

Yikes man. I had Gary working on my 05 Yamaha road warrior motorcycle and I just keep finding issues. First I ride away from his shop and stop by the gas station to fill it up. 2 minutes after I leave the gas station, I started leaking gas badly. I immediately stop and call Gary because I don't want to catch on fire and he says to come back to the shop and he will take a look. After 2 hours waiting on the side of the road, the gas stopped leaking and I ride back to Gary's. When I get there, he doesn't show any sign of remorse and instead goes off about how he can't check everything. After I had to prove to him that the bike is leaking by pouring some of his gas in there, he finally shows me what he worked on and lo and behold the o-ring in the gas line is busted. He replaces it and keep saying that he "won't even charge me for the gas" that we had to use to prove the bike was actually leaking. A bit later I wanted to take a ride down to Portland and during the ride my bike keep losing electrical power. Eventually it doesn't start at all and I'm stranded hours away from my place or any tools. I had to get a tow to another shop and what do they find? Gary had drilled out the threads to the battery terminals and replaced them with an incorrect screw/washer/nut combo that came apart while riding. Not even a lock nut or anything. Super sloppy work. During the whole ordeal I wasn't quoted an accurate price, I ended up paying about $600 more than I thought I would have, not including the tow and second shop fees. I get that things are getting more and more expensive but don't rip me off and then try to brag about flying to Vietnam to find a girlfriend. Not a good look Gary. Overall do not recommend. Come here at your own risk. read more

This is by the far the worst shop I've ever dealt with. Spent over 4K on a motor rebuild just to have to pull the whole thing apart again. I had to rebore the cylinders, rebuild the heads again, get new pistons rings. Fix the majority of the seals, fix the kicker that they "rebuilt", re time the cam and the re time the bike. They couldn't ever even get it started the entire time they had it. Took me a few hours to figure out that motor was completely seizing. They then refused to refund any portion of the money. Worst shop. Worst people. Don't go here. read more

My Honda Shadow had been sitting in the garage for several years and Gary the owner came and picked it up and took it to his shop for a very reasonable $85. It needed a carb rebuild, gas tank cleaning, new battery, oil change and etc. Gary and JT, (FT Mechanic) took care of all of the concerns and checked out the systems. Gary is an excellent communicator, throughout the whole process. It is a two man shop with a depth of knowledge and professionalism concentrated in a small residential based business in Burien/ Boulevard Park. Gary warned me that this was the busy season and it might be a few weeks, but he completed my job quickly. I lucked out into this shop as opposed to an overpriced corporate shop with lightly trained techs that are not vested in the quality of the work. If you can get in to Lockrem Cycle Barn, go for it. Worth the drive even if a long distance. This is a very reasonably priced and highly skilled shop. They care about their reputation and customer satisfaction.
