If I could give them more stars I would. My car key broke off. I knew I needed it to be fixed or replaced by the morning to go to work. We are in process of closing escrow on sale of our house and noticed our front door, even when locked, could be pushed open. Only the deadbolt would prevent that. Needing to fix the issue before the buyer took possession, I called Mike at LocksKing. He made himself quickly available at a time convenient to me. He resolved the issue and then reconditioned the lock. He even made extra copies of key. "Great, terrific, fabulous" If I had more superlatives--I'd add them: Michael was wonderful--set up an appt for within hour and a half, was helpful with some safety suggestions, researched some issues with a garage opener, was knowledgeable, ultra courteous, professional, efficient, and stayed longer for some lock changes I had forgotten to "order" when I originally made appointment with him. Another incredibly helpful service--he made me an additional 5 keys (I was going to go to Ace..) that were needed so that he could TEST each key--HUGE convenience as copies of originals from a hardware store often times are slightly off. This is how the events unfolded at my apartment. I stepped out at 2 AM (long story behind why I was out that late!) to see how I could bring my new couch into my apartment as the couch was barely fitting through the main door. I failed to realize that the lock was turned from inside when I stepped out with nothing but just my phone in my hand. So as soon as the door got shut behind me, I was already in trouble but didn't realize until a full 5 mins after. So I called 911 to see if they can help but they said that it's not something that they would take up and I was quickly running out of options as my phone charge was around 5%. I looked up locksmith's on yelp and found Mike's listing and a couple others which I called but only Mike picked up. Even though he is based in the East Bay, he agreed to help me as he realized my situation wasn't the best. Not only did Mike help me with the lock but he also helped me move the couch in which me and my friends could not get it to fit through the door. I am so impressed by his service that I decided to write this rather lengthy review to spread the word.
