That is understandable . (It's five miles farther to get to me). Understandable if you deliver pizza. To make a long story short, I received a recommendation to go to this particular locksmith from a mechanic here in Salinas. I had my car serviced by them, and they not only fixed my problem, they created a different one by breaking my interior rearview mirror. It took some convincing, but they finally agreed to replace my mirror at no cost to me, which I don't think was too much to ask. They may have taken no less than two weeks to replace said mirror, and they never accepted responsibility for breaking my mirror. Despite that though, they do good work, and Id say their prices are reasonable. I wish nothing but the best for them, and would even recommend them to anyone. read more

Tough BMW key to fix and Repair They are great! The key guy, Agustin showed up on time (a bit late) but within Covid margins. Had a mask on and knew exactly what to do to fix the dead key on my 2004 BMW Z4, he has had almost a decade of BMW key experience. I wouldn't go get your keys for your car serviced here. I just had my car serviced because the key wouldn't open the car. Yes, they did a great job at fixing the key entry to the door. However, they messed up my driver side window from rolling up or down, so I decided to go to their physical location later that same day. When I arrived I told them my issue and after some work on my door and some denial of cutting some wires out of my door panel, they not only messed up one window but the only two since I have a coupe. After they did that, they started saying sorry, but sorry doesn't fix an issue if it is not repaired. I would avoid this spot. It is unprofessional, they don't take charge for their mistakes or actions, and they are one corrupt business. read more

Star locksmith came out to make a new key for my car which I had lost the key for. The key that was made instantly did not go in smoothly, but I was assured it was just a new key and would be better with time. The very next day I tried to start my car, it would not start. Had to have it towed to a mechanic where they told me that this new key ruined my ignition system. Star locksmith refused to refund me for the key charges or the ensuing damages.
