I ordered the birria tacos (2) along with a side of rice and beans. They were super tasty! The beans had a lot of flavor, and the rice was packed with cilantro, which I absolutely love! Even though I'm not usually a big fan of birria, I really enjoyed these tacos - they even came with the consome. read more

We couldn't wait to try this place. It's a small little place with colorful murals, and weird, uncomfortable seating. 3 of us came and order different margaritas and an appetizer of street corn dip and chips and salsa. Drinks were terrible!!! We complained to our waiter/server/bartender....and he just laughed and walked away. No remake, no credit. Street corn dip came out and 'looked good', but was pretty basic and bland in flavor. The salsa....that was worse than the drinks. Tasted like tomato purée straight out of can. We were ready to order tacos for actual food....but because drinks and apps sucked, we left and went next door to Alibi. There, we got great service, great drinks, and greats apps and food. Will not waste time coming back to try tacos here. We highly doubt this place will be open in the next 6 months. read more

What a fun little place! The guy working (seemed like the bar and all thE tables) was super fun and helpful. He helped us to decide what to get because we wanted it ALL. We did get some apps. The cheese fries were a little underwhelming but the street corn dip was delicious. Of the two tacos I got (carnitas and shrimp) the shrimp was DELICIOUS. I walked in on Taco Tuesday to grab some tacos for myself yesterday, and they were PACKED. It is a fairly small space, but they make due with what they have honestly. As soon as I walked in, they asked me if it was just for 1 and I told them takeout instead, and she immediately handed me a menu and took my order to make sure it was gotten. This day, all of the purchases went towards the kitchen managers' family whose house had just burned down the day before, and that was another reason I chose here then as well for the day. The staff has been super friendly both times I have been here once take out and once to eat here. The tacos are always delicious, and the street corn is too! We ordered to go on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The experience was overall good. The queso and chips were delicious and fresh. The birria was also very good. The downside on the birria was that we didn't receive all of the consome that was supposed to come with it, nor the side of limes that we asked, and there is no salsa verde option as a side. But, the birria tacos are definitely some of the better that we have found in the area. I really enjoyed the street corn and found it to be delicious, others that I was eating with thought it had too much lime for their liking. The carne asada was delicious but the tacos were definitely very bare. There was very little meat and a single sliver of cooked onion in one. Staff was friendly both in person and on the phone. Went to this place this past Saturday evening with high expectations. I had read several reviews from last year, Sadly I was seriously disappointed. I walked in and there was 2 customers in the restaurant, I sat down at a table that looked clean. The person who assisted me took the condiments off of a table next to me and put it on my table, and gave me a menu. The place had a low key vibe to it so I was looking forward to the food. I ordered 3 tacos (carna asada, birria and a chicken) birria ramen and a beer. I received 2 tacos; carna asada and birria, neither had any flavor to speak of and the birria taco came with no birria sauce to dip. The ramen had no taste and the noodles looked like they were straight out of a maruchan bag. I didn't get any napkins, so when the couple at the next table left, I took their unused ones so I could wipe the grease from my hands from the tacos. When I was finished with my meal the person stopped by and asked if I needed anything else, I said no. He took the bowl and taco tray and left, brought back the tab and walked into the kitchen, he never came back out, so after about 5-10 minutes, I paid my tab (with cash) and left. read more

We decided on Loco Kitty due to a FB post showing Birria ramen and soft serve margaritas! There was a period of time when I was a Birria snob out looking for the best Birria anything. The picture and the close location intrigued me. I also ordered a chicken taco. For me, the ramen did not hit! There was barely any consumé and the beef tasted like it had a lot of cumin. The flour taco shell was really good but the meat lacked flavor. The street corn dip was really good and I will definitely be back for another soft serve margarita!! Heard from a friend this place was worth trying, so I went today to check it out. I ordered the Birria taco and Shrimp loco, plus side of guacamole. While waiting for my order I over heard talk of lunch specials. Hmmm, why wasn't that shared with me? When I asked the person shrugged their shoulders and walked away. WTF. So I get my food and the Loco Shrimp taco had maybe 4 small Shrimp in it that were so tough and rubbery, I could barely chew it. When I bit into the Birria taco, nothing but grease, grease and more grease. Guacamole looked old, and like it had oil mixed into it. This is NOT IT!!. The serving sizes were pretty small so if you are hungry order double dip and 3 or more tacos. I highly recommend the peach and strawberry margaritas. Our server was really sweet, and assured us ANYTHING could be made gluten free! Service was quick, accurate, and friendly. The fish and tropical carnitas tacos were so yummy. My husband LOVED the Ramen Barria. And our gluten-free daughters were able to have tasty quesadillas that totally satisfied. Aside from that, there is a number of reasons why it is lacking the other 4 stars. 1. We waiting about 35 minutes for our food to come out and we were 1 of 2 couples there. 2. The food was flavorless!! They advertise as good tacos, false. The birria tacos were mushy and oily. My husband Ramen was bland. The consomé, which is usually a full of flavor broth, was thick and looked like wet cat food. 3. The service was not great. Our server had long acrylic finger nails that they used as tongs to pick up limes from the container at the bar. When my husband asked for a water, he let out a frustrated sigh prior to pouring it.
