    Walking Doritos nachos

The beauty of the restaurant and the customer service 10/10!! Food was bland. It gives the vibes of Chipotle... BUT... they limit the amount of toppings you can get on your bowl. The ground beef was pretty good but the steak and the chicken, tender but flavorless. Queso was spicy and had a pretty watered down texture. One issue i had was when I got my drink, an ant came out of the spout. I went to the counter and showed the cashier. She gave me a bottled drink, apologized, and fixed it. But it is hot outside and the drink machines are right by the door. I probably won't be back. It was about $30 for 2 items with one being a combo.

Stopped by bravo burrito today for the first time to check out the new kid on the block rivaling the giant that is chipotle. I got the burrito bowl with chicken and steak with a side of chips and I have to admit chipotle has them beat on both taste, portion size, and even pricing. My total came out to be 17.18$ after taxes which to me is a bit pricey compared to what you would receive at chipotle. At chipotle you could make one of the bowls into two meals easily. The food overall was good but not quite as good as chipotle and the chips I had received were a bit stale. The inside decor was appealing and appeared to be really clean. All in all it's a cool addition to the city of Petersburg with great staff but I think I may stick with chipotle.

I only tried the bowl - Mexican rice, chorizo beans, steak, pico, corn, fajita veggies, cheese, hot salsa, sour cream and a bit of lettuce on top (to keep my sour cream from getting on the top) - everything was fresh and plentiful. They brought out fresh fajita veggies right as I came up (unlike some places that I go to that can't judge when they need more). I rate the bowl a 4.5. Mainly that was my fault because I could have gotten guac or queso but I didn't. The food with the ambience is a 5. I know they are new but they were staffed, the line moved quickly and there is a guy that is in the dining area that greeted and cleaned tables as people came in or left. The decoration was both festive and decorated for the holidays. I can definitely see myself going back. Oh...I didn't mention that the set up is Chipotle-ish.

I am so excited to have this option in Petersburg. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. All of the food was super fresh and delicious. The salsa was next level. The seating was comfy, and the whole restaurant was spotless. I'm already planning my next trip back!

The service was wonderful. The ambience is nice, and the food was really good. I grew up in South Texas and I know Mexican food.

I noticed the ice cream/yogurt spot nearby was hopping. There was a person asking for change outside the front door. We were greeted by an enthusiastic host and seated immediately at a booth up front. The server came by within seconds and brought us water and place settings. We decided to get the chips and salsa for an appetizer and a pair of melting chimichangas for entrees. I can't resist some chorizo and steak. My partner got the chimichanga without chorizo and with chicken. The ambiance was colorful with beautifully painted murals on each wall, and the atmosphere was undeniably loud. There were lots of patrons. The place was packed, even at the bar, so your mileage may vary. We received our orders within minutes of each other, so there wasn't much of a wait time. The chips and salsa were homemade, fresh, warm, and delicious (muy rico). Same for the entrees; exactly what I want in a Mexican food restaurant. The chorizo and steak were well-cooked, seasoned, and chopped finely, but not ground. I was in heaven with that chimichanga. We had to take home leftovers. The next night, heated in the oven at 325 for 30 minutes, they were similarly excellent. The night ended without dessert, sadly (too full). However, the server was quick and efficient, and he was always around to fill water and bring anything we needed throughout the meal. Great experience overall. We will definitely return here whenever we have a hankering for some good Mexican food at reasonable prices. I can recommend this place to anyone who appreciates hearty and filling Mexican food.

The ambiance can be described as eclectic and casual. It's great for big groups and relaxed lunches. There's a variety of menu options for food and drink. Our server was nice, but she didn't really answer our questions about the menu or substitutions, which was a little inconvenient. Also, we kept having to ask for utensils and napkins, which made our food get a bit cold. The pineapple habanero margarita tasted like spicy pineapple juice and was pretty expensive. It was pretty, but not worth the money. The food also was really average, but the portion sizes were good for sharing. The huitlacoche tacos were a little bland and soggy, the chicken chipotle tacos had a good sauce but were also soggy and the fajitas did not have enough seasoning. Not a restaurant that I would come back to, but I liked it's proximity to other dessert places nearby.

The waitress (Camra?) was super nice and thoughtfully visited both ends of the table to get the orders correct. The gang started with some gorgeous creative cocktails. I had a lovely mint tea (hot, Tazo). We shared guacamole which certainly has a kick! The chips were crispy, thicker and prefect for the dip and tasting the trio of sauces. The regulars highly recommended the tacos and the sides. I had the broccoli; crisp, partly blackened, a bit light on the seasoning but blossomed with the darkest red sauce. The rare taco, amazing, truly rare. Seared on one side, the seared side very spicy. I had the beet salad side. Small cubes of beets in a creative sauce. A friend had the sweet potato and that was magnificently spiced! I must go back and try more!

We were visiting from DC, which is objectively a more expensive area, and yet the price per taco was higher than individual tacos at our favorite taco chain in DC, especially for the shrimp and, especially curiously, the cauliflower. And then the portions of shrimp and cauliflower in those tacos was pretty disappointing. Also, very fried. Nachos and quesadillas seemed like a better value than tacos so, while my husband got the aforementioned tacos, I got the nachos without any added protein. Much better value - huge portion at a small price. Some odd choices though. There was an appropriate amount of cheese (beer cheese, which seemed appropriate given its location inside a beer hall) but a really small amount of other toppings (beans, corn, pico I think?) relative to the huge amount of raw jalapeño slices. The dish relies really heavily on jalapeño for flavor and freshness, and I like jalapeño, but these woud be more appropriately described as "jalapeño and cheese on chips" than nachos, IMO. If you love raw jalapeño you'll be in heaven but for those who are accustomed to jalapeños being an accent, this is A LOT. It was like the primary ingredient after chips, even above cheese. All in all, it's fine if you're in the area and want tacos or need food with your beer but is it somewhere I would go out of my way to visit? Probably not.
