The worst customer service experience I've had in years. Lodesco gave me a delivery window of 12pm-4pm (for a Joybird couch) and told me they would call 30 minutes before they would arrive. I worked from home to be available. At about 3:15pm, I had not received a call and started to get worried as the end of the delivery window was drawing near, so I called them but was quickly assured that the driver was on track to be at my place before 4pm and that he would call me shortly. I did not receive a call, so I followed up at 3:45pm, but my call went to voicemail. I finally got through at about 4pm and was told the driver would call me in 20 minutes but was still not provided an estimate of when he would show up; they told me they would call me back momentarily with that estimate. After another 45 minutes without receiving a call (now over an hour outside the delivery window), I called the office back and was told that they were looking into it while I was put on hold. After over 30 minutes on hold (the last ten spent trying to call from other lines and going straight to voicemail) I finally gave up. They never called me back and they never showed up. If you get Lodesco for a Joybird (or any other) delivery, I strongly urge you to insist that the retailer use a different delivery service for your order. As you can see from the other recent reviews, my experience is not particularly unique. read more

I can only hope that people realize the miserable experience ahead of time rather than re-actively. Lodeso was the Delivery Agent from a purchase from A.M.B. Furniture and Design. I highly advise staying awy from BOTH companies if you want something in a timely fashion. It's been 1 week shy of 2 months since I placed the order. I even forgot what the couch looks like since it's taken so long. They give guestimates to people for sparing hope but those are always wrong. In the DFW area Delivery was excellent, I was told 4-6 weeks. Week 4 I was contacted and appt was scheduled. My bed came, they set it up, they were very pleasant and professional. My only suggestion is for them to wear shoe covers (as I don't usually allow shoes on my carpet). Thank you!! read more

Ordered from Overstock.com When called about delivery was told very rudely that if it couldn't fit thru door, they would have to leave outside because they are unable to unwrap anything. They arrive earlier than expected which was fine and barely made an attempt to get thru door before saying it wasn't gonna fit.I realized thats the perfect way to not do any hard work. This company is TERRIBLE! They delivered my table but brought the boxes inside my house to unpack and the cardboard scratched my hardwood floors! I called the number stated several times leaving a voicemail but haven't received a response. They need to be out of business! What a scam! This is the worst service that I have seen so far! If I could give 0 stars, I would! First of all, when they call to schedule a delivery they don't leave a message or anything and I was never able to reach them back! After the first attempt to schedule a delivery, they disappears for over a week, and I could not reach them in spite of my numerous attempts. I had to call LuxeDecor (the website where I got the furniture) so that they could push them to respond, but even they had a hard time dealing with Lodeso (or reaching them). Worst service ever. If you live in New York City area, do not use their services. They are horrible in every aspect a shipping carrier should be, worst than lowest-rated business. My packag was delivered on Novemenber 1st in Queens outside the main door, for however amount of time it was left unattended. The driver calls me finally after he had left from point of delivery. It seemed like that was the norm and they don't really care if it gets wet, stolen, damaged once you drop it and notify the owner at their convenience. Businesses like this should be reported and closed from operating. May be spend extra few bucks and ensure someone reputable or trustworthy businesses are shipping your valuables. Costco uses Lodeso as the final delivery agent for their online purchases. They are wretched! The promised white glove service just doesn't happen. Last time they delivered a Costco order, it took almost a month for them to get around to it. On an order that they got in 2 days ago, they haven't bothered to contact me yet to set up a delivery. I don't buy things just to have them sit in a Lodeso warehouse. I buy things because I want to use them. I don't want to have to fight with a poor quality shipper every time. Mattress deliver scheduled between 12 - 4. Guy calls at 10:34 (313-673-0669) and says he is 5-10 minutes away. Please note time of 10:34, when the delivery is scheduled for 12-4. Then I get a call at 10:44 (248-971-4465) and says he has been at my house for last 20 minutes, and they are leaving. Again please note that at 10:34 they called and said, they are 5-10 minutes away, and at 10:44 they call and say they have been waiting at my house for 20 minutes, and all of this when delivery is scheduled between 12 & 4. We ordered a rug the first week of August and when we didn't hear about any delivery instructions by the third week, I contacted the vendor. Finally, we received a notification from Lodeso that delivery was expected by 8/27/18 and that we would receive a phone call within 48 hours to set up a delivery time. So far, no phone call was received. I tried to send an email to Lodeso, but their site indicated there was an error in transmitting the email. I looked for a phone number to call them, but could not find a phone number or an address! This is unacceptable for a company providing a service. Unbelievedly awful service I received from both Foster's Furniture in Tacoma Washington who I purchased my bedroom set from and from Lodeso who they contracted to deliver it. Furniture was supposed to be delivered by Sept. 6 and after numerous delays and excuses it is now scheduled for Oct. 27! Lodeso had our furniture in their warehouse for two weeks and didn't have the correct paperwork so they didn't know where it was supposed to go. Two weeks sitting in the warehouse when I was told by Fosters that it was on its way! Just hoping that it will be in good condition when I receive it. Threshold delivery means they'll get it half way in. I had a sleeper sofa delivered. It's very heavy. They wouldn't put it in the apartment, just most of the way in the doorway. They wanted an extra $40 to actually get it into the apartment so I could close the front door. The couch arrived damaged, but of course I didn't get a chance to inspect it since it was still wrapped in cardboard and plastic in my entryway with no way to view it. Frustrating Experience. Overstock used this company to ship our table to us. Three weeks later- Im yet to receive this item. Their tracking system is incomplete. I was left to contact them numerous times to find out what was going on with this item. Their customer service severely lacked and they do not seem to know what is going on. When I emailed them for status, they sent me information about someone else's order. If you can avoid using them I would recommend it. Do not use if you need something in a timely manner. read more

For larger items with paid delivery, the company is supposed to give the customer a call 30 minutes before they arrive. I confirmed this the day before my delivery. I never received a call and was told that they would wait until my husband arrived because he was less than 15 minutes away. 10 minutes later, I get a call from a woman who is instantly nasty to me telling me that their drivers were leaving since we did not show up. I tried to explain that we were never called and someone was on the way and her attitude just got worse as she continued to berate me. At this point, I just wanted to keep them on the phone long enough for my husband to get to the delivery site so I asked for a supervisor. She gave me to a very confused man and she continued her spiel in the background. Apparently, the drivers claimed to have called me so I just kept talking until my husband arrived (in the 15-minute window they had originally agreed to). I have no idea how this company is still in business or how any of these individuals are still employed with the amount of negative reviews they receive. This is the worst delivery company I have ever dealt with in my existence of purchasing something. First off the Owner Ted treated my fiancé and I like crap because he did not want to take responsibility for his drivers damaging my 1 month old house. When I called to see what was going on with our claim he acted is if he didn't know what I was talking about and then 2 sentences later said he was still looking into it. He stated he was going to get back to me in a few hours. I called a few days later and the owner Ted said he doesn't know what I'm talking about and was never at my home yet I have a nest Camera showing date, time and his drivers at my house damaging my lawn as well as tracking mud through my brand new home. To add to this they gouged the drywall and damaged the mounding through out my stair well causing several hundred dollars in damage. Next the owner Ted said that we signed off as there was no damage and when I asked Ted for that copy the POD as the drivers never left one he said f---k you tough guy. And then stated "we were never there have a good day" and hung up. When I tried to call back he started cursing at me telling me I better stop calling him or he will get the authorities involved. This is far from over as I will not accept a no name company sent by a Big Box Retailer Costco to allow this company to destroy our home and walk away with now accountability and leave me hanging to cover the damages. read more

Chicagoland area. My experience thus far has been horrible. Was told I would be called 30 minutes prior to delivery. I was called when the driver arrived at my apartment I was at work and told them I would head down to meet them which I was told was ok BY THE DRIVER. It took me 10 minutes to get to my apartment and nobody was there. So I called the driver back no answer. Thinking maybe I miss heard them I waited thinking maybe they meant they were 30 minutes out. I waited one hour before I tried calling the driver back twice no answer second call ignored. So I called the main office which operators were nice to me but they could not reach the driver either. After all my hold time I was waiting 2 and a half hours. The main office said they would call me back when they heard something. So I called and had my brother wait at my apartment. Another hour and a half went by so told my brother to leave. About 3 o'clockish I get a call back from the main office stating the driver told them I didn't answer the phone so they didn't attempt the delivery and they brought the couch back to the warehouse. I guess I was smoking some good crack because I talked to somebody and was convinced enough to take off work to stare at the wall at home for hours. Now I'm attempting to have the couch delivered to the furniture store I bought it from so I can pick it up my damn self but I'm yet again waiting for another call back to get a new delivery date. I'd rather eat glass and swan dive into a concrete parking lot than deal with this company anymore. I would cancel the order but would be charged a restock fee why not right? So stuck dealing with them. Maybe I'll get my couch by next month because that's another thing I've been waiting 3 weeks already for a couch to be delivered. I could add more like how I was told it would be delivered last Friday but then it was changed to today oh the fun excuse of how I gave them the wrong number but somehow the main office knew which number to call and the driver knew which number to call? The delivery and setup of our dinette set was excellent. We were scheduled to have delivery in the afternoon, but they called and asked if they could come earlier as they were in the area, but would be glad to come in the afternoon if it was not convenient. We did have them come early and they arrived in 30 minutes. They were friendly, polite and efficient. They assembled the table, unwrapped the chairs, set them all in the room where I indicated. Terrible experience. This was the "White Glove Delivery" company for my Costco purchase. The delivery men had absolutely no respect for my home or new wood floors. They used no padding and damaged my floors and walls. They acknowledged the damage while there, I signed that I received my item and then they denied everything because I did not write on the form the damage they had already acknowledged.
