I'll start by saying the manager there was very good when we spoke to him on another visit. But, on our next visit, the two people working there acted as if i was bothering them. I needed to get some posters laminated, and they seemed very put off by the request and even suggested I go to Hobby Lobby to see if they could be framed cheaper. I was told I couldn't wait for them because it takes two hours at least to laminate 10 posters (18x24). I was fine with that, but I was told they would call when they were done. Well, no one ever called me. The next day I called and was told they weren't done yet, they had to be "trimmed out" and the person answering the call "wasn't told anything about them". Neither of these issues are my problem, they've had 24 hours to produce the laminated posters and likely wouldn't have done it them if I didn't call; even after they said they would be done in 2 hours. Mind you, I'm paying over $100 to have these laminated! This was originally a "1", but Tassie at the store was very professional and kind. Her actions got them another star. read more

I went to this FED Ex today to ship a rifle barrel, just the barrel, a piece of steel with no moving parts. I have shipped barrels at this location via Fed Ex before for repairs. I was told by the young man at the counter that they could not ship a rifle barrel, and could not create a label. (I told him the barrel by itself is not an FFL item, ie, Federal Firearms License regulated item that has to be shipped between FFL's or those who hold a license). He went and asked a woman who I presume was the on duty manager, and she shook her head. These employees are either too new, not well trained, or don't know what they are doing (incompetent maybe?). It is neither against the law nor against FED Ex policy to ship non regulated pieces or parts of a gun, say a wooden stock by itself? I went to another FEd Ex and shipped my item. Whoever owns this store needs to train their employees, or in case this is purely political and the store's new policy, post it somewhere for all to read. I had actually shipped a barrel there a year ago with no issues. Train your employees. Post your policies, and please I hope this is not political. You are already off my list for future business anyway. I rate your shipping services zero or minus 1. This is a bad store. read more

Have documents to route to an insurance company, and they offer several options to submit. One of these is the "ole school" fax machine. So, called the local FedEx shop to get a quote to use their fax. The FedEx pricing folks have gone into crazy town. Ridiculous pricing for fax services: $1.89 first page and $1.19 for every page thereafter. For 13 pages that would be a whopping $13.79. Uh, no thank you. Found another place for a fraction of the price. read more

Back in California I'd swear by FedEx because of the quick and friendly service...but this particular branch doesn't really live up to my previous experiences. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I wouldn't come back here to do business but I've had some unfriendly encounters with staff. That might just because both times I've gone were near closing time. Things to know: they've got all the services you need (printing, faxing, mailing). If you're going to do any orders I suggest fulfilling them online so that way you can use online discounts. read more

I have the occasional need to get prints for events and Kinko's fits the bill. I can place orders online and pick them up at my local store or at the store of my choice at the destination. This is a nice option to wondering if I will get what I need from my corporate office and not using up all my own ink at home. read more
