Found this repair shop and its delightful gentleman owner/operator through the magic of the internet after my favorite silver ring broke at the solder joint and I couldn't buy a replacement. The process was easy. Walked in, was quoted 30 minutes (another customer was waiting before me) and $45, which I was more than content to pay to bring my favorite ring back to life by a skilled craftsman. When I returned, my ring was good as new and had been given a nice cleaning. Well worth what I paid for this gentleman's skill, quality work and quick turnaround. Do not hesitate to come here for your jewelry repair needs, it is the literal best. Tucked in between a salon and a few other shops at Crescent and Lodi Ave, there is free parking in the back and along the streets. My only regret is I didn't find this place 10 years ago. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! Hahn was amazing from my first call all the way through the repair he did for me. Hahn saved my daughters entire wedding without a doubt! I contacted him very last minute with my 92yr old grandmas wedding ring that she gave to my daughters fiance to give to my daughter on her wedding day. The ring was very tiny at a size 4 and needed to be made 2 sizes larger but with it being purchased by my grandfather in the mid 1940's and so very special to our family I was struggling with leaving it anywhere for work to be done and certainly was not comfortable with it being sent out anywhere for repair. It was difficult enough thinking I was going to have to leave it anywhere for a couple days but I was so incredibly happy when Hahn told me he would work on the ring while I waited!! I may have cried a little bit lol! There was no appointment needed and he began immediate work on the ring when I arrived without notice, last minute of course (scheduling my day isn't my strong point.) By the time Hahn checked the ring over and gave me the recommendation to make the band a little thicker, I was 100% confident in his ability to take the utmost care of this sentimental piece & he did not disappoint!! He made the band larger & thicker & dipped it in white gold to refresh it. It came out absolutely gorgeous!!!! My grandma couldn't get over how beautiful it was! I gifted my husband with a white gold ring off of Etsy and had it engraved with the names of our children and the date. The size ended up being too small, so we took it here to have the ring stretched. In the process of having it stretched the machine scratched the engraving pretty bad on the inside. The owner was incredibly kind to smooth out the inside and re-engrave it with the original script for my husband free of charge. We only paid for the stretching which was $60.
