After having a very disappointing experience from a prominent jeweler in the Bay Area, I asked my parents to refer me to a trustworthy jewelry company. My father recommended Peck's Jewelers. I brought my sapphire ring in to be repaired after I lost the baguette. I talked with Jeff and he gave me an estimate right after a couple minutes of studying it. Don't waste your time going here...guy is full of shit. I brought in a brand new watch to see if they can fix the fogging, after I've had the battery changed and I was told to get a new watch because the movement is rusting and it's causing the fog! It was clear to me that he didn't want to work on my "cheap department watch" and just gave some bullshit reason to get rid of me. I guess he didn't want my business... went to another Jeweler and they fixed the problem by adding a gasket that was missed when I had the battery replaced. read more

I took my Casio Alti- barometric watch in to have the wristband replaced. Apparently the screws were stripped and it took awhile to replace them. He was very patient and gracious with me when I got impatient with him, not realistically my it wasn't a simple process. He charged me a fair price. Mind you, I had a job that was very rough on my hands so my poor wedding ring took some damage. It was fixed within a couple days with no charge.
