I believe his name is Aaron (longish black hair) because he is such a fantastic hype man! He is always bubbly and enthusiastic, and makes me feel so good about my purchases. I generally dread small talk interactions at check-outs, but he makes it genuinely enjoyable. The store itself is great too. If you like to shop at places like Marshall's, Sierra, TJ Maxx, etc., this is definitely the best version of them. I appreciate that the clothes are actually organized, and they have one of the best shoe selections of any store. The prices are generally good and reasonable, but the clearance prices are often extreme deals with the caveat of very limited selection (obviously though, since it's clearance). They also have a really good selection of skin care, hair care, and make up. Those are the discounts I often end up appreciating the most!

Apparently loss prevention staff was monitoring someone and actually prevented him from walking away with a shopping bag of items.. I'm glad retail stores embrace the prevention of shoplifters.. rather than some stores just taking the loss and letting them walk away..although is the safety of an employee worth it.. is always a other view.. I did good- no shoes- no handbags just two sweaters- hehehe.. if you use your Nordstrom card you save 5%.. !!

The Men's dept is on the first floor. I found some Tommy Bahama shirts on sale and they had some in my size. Always love a sale. The dressing rooms were clean and well kept. After trying a few other stores and spending over an hour searching, we left empty-handed. We decided to take a drive to Dillard's, and I'm so thankful we did. Within a minute of walking in, Charles greeted us and offered assistance without us even asking--which is definitely rare these days. I explained what we were looking for and a few specific requirements. As he walked us through the options, I mentioned that we needed a wide fit. He was honest and let us know they didn't carry traditional wide sizes, but then took the time to show us ECCO shoes with dual-fit insoles as an alternative. I can't say enough about how much we appreciated Charles. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He listened carefully, stayed calm while we tried on different pairs, and didn't hesitate when we asked for another size. We later found out he actually helped open this location--congratulations to him on his 20th anniversary! Dillard's management--you truly have a gem in Charles. You should be very proud to have him representing your store.

The store is large and bright, with clearly marked aisles and a lot of merchandise offered. If I were smarter, I'd stop here before REI or Patagonia. I picked at the edges and came out with an extra ice scraper, small snow shovel, and a pair of exercise hand grips. Who knows what I'll find the next time?

I really wish they would open a Sierra branch in my 'hood in Northern California! Sierra is like the "sporty" arm of the TJX family of stores. You can get camping gear, clothing/shoes for men, women and kids, home goods, toys, snacks, pet supplies, and so much more. It's like a treasure hunt every time! There's also clearly marked red tag clearance items in each department. On my recent visit on a Saturday morning, I found good name brands in clothing and shoes, such as Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, LL Bean, and Crocs. All at discounted-from-retail prices! The store was recently remodeled and everything was neat and tidy. The cashier was pleasant and the line moved at a reasonable pace. There weren't a lot of workers roaming the floors to ask questions, but then again, this isn't a typical department store, so don't expect Nordstrom service! Highly recommend checking Sierra out to see what bargains you can find!

I noticed there was a sign on the door stating they were closed but noticed people in the store being helped right at the entrance, so I entered. The older lady (employee) was a little gruff and instead of the normal "Welcome in!" I received a look of disdain... I stepped back out to reread the sign and then politely asked if I could justake a payment. Rather rudely she said I guess. I could tell she was upset but hey, your website says open until 6pm. Not my fault I drove across town to find you were closing early. Though I like the items I always get from Lane Bryant I will find it hard to return to such sour service. No apology for closing early. Just fluff employees who were too bothered to take a payment. By the way... your store is only open 7 hours... why so angry?​

Atmosphere - Small location. But the only one in the city, so... They closed the bathrooms to the public. Why? Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week 10am to 8pm; on Sundays from 11am to 6pm. Service - Self service. Price - Expensive, but that is the cost for quality. I do frequent their outlet locations in Livermore and Gilroy, CA, for much better pricing. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1998 by founder Chip Wilson. 491 stores with 25,000 employees and growing around the world. 2007 IPO.
