There are lots of different shoes choices on the floor and she could direct me in the right direction with ease. She appropriately ignored my stir crazy kids and we're goofing around but not causing too much trouble. (I was grateful)There's nothing that new or innovative about famous footwear. It's a pretty straightforward place. My kids both got great deals on sneakers that were brand names for much less. When very good people work in places like this they deserve to get good reviews even for regular old places like the footlocker.

There are lots of neat options here. You have designer and brand name shoes (at reasonable prices!) and lots of funky colors and patterns. The only downside is that they might not have your size for the pair that you want. I have to say it was really nice to walk into the store and actually be greeted by a customer service person with a smile and warm greeting. It's nice when the staff are friendly and want to help. My granddaughter found a pair that she loves and since she left happy, I am happy! I'm looking forward to coming back and finding something for me next time.

My Dad was looking for some waterproof boots for a trip, and we found exactly what we were looking for in 5 minutes!! (Not to mention 25% off on boots what are the odds). The size and selection for this store is awesome, there were plenty of employees around the store who were friendly and helpful, the only thing is it can get a tad pricey. Still, I would come back here again, it's a great store in a great shopping center!

Shoe repair stores are becoming more rare and this one is a keeper. They have a variety of diabetic socks and shoes along with ortho sneakers, sandals and slides. Boot Barn had a soft opening a few weeks ago and now with their hard opening I figure they got all…read morethe bugs out, and there weren't many because it's pretty much flawless. As the doors open you're hit with a strong leather smell and if you like that, well, you're in for fun. The front of the store has shelf after shelf of boots arranged by size. these are western /cowboy boots and come from plain at around$140 to tooled to painted to freaking ostrich skin at around $450. As i walked around I noted they also sell the polishes and creams needed to maintain boots and keep them clean so they want you to keep these in good trim for the long haul. The clothes they sell also have a strong western them in jeans, shirts and vests and I was hard pressed to find fault as all have a high cotton content and feel nice to the touch, unlike so many similar clothes found in the near-by mall that look nice but have a less pleasant feel. The staff is helpful but not obsequious. So, you don't feel ignored but neither do you feel smothered by them. I was actually looking for something to complain about. mentally I was thinking 5 star? but I can't. They don't have rubber boots! Yes they do. They don't have hiking boots! Yes they do. In the end the store runs to an aggressively western theme but they also have modern work/hiking/rain boots as well as stylish cowboy boots. They do not have European style riding boots, chukka boots or suede desert boots, so Clark's still has a reason to hang around but otherwise if you're looking for good boot etc this is the place to stop off. Heck if they'd had the brown drover's rain coat in my size I'd have to be explaining the purchase to my wife.

I went to Famous Footwear for the first time. This store was on my mind to try after seeing their…read moreholiday ads on TV. That should have been my tip-off that I wouldn't find anything there. In the commercial, a hip-looking mom is satisfied and surprised that she purchased gifts that her pre-teen children approved of. So, this is a store best fit for teens. I didn't find anything I liked, although I may head back in the spring for some flats or sandals. The store was clean and well-organized, though small, but they didn't offer any famous brands I was interested in buying. If you want Bare Traps, this is your place.
