They took their time to find the perfect sneakers. I always wanted to get fitted and sized etc and decided to go on a rainy Saturday. They actually have one on one and bring out multiple sneakers to try on. When someone came in another person helped them so I was not rushed or felt like I needed to make a decision. I did end up buying 3 sneakers and made a back up list because they do give you 30 days to try them out. The local small business was totally worth stopping by. They have socks and clothes to sandals to sneakers. But it is geared towards working out, running, walking and everyday sneakers. I didn't realize how many styles there were and that you should have a sneaker for the gym that is separate for everyday use. Simply the best. We had this young lady that took me by surprise! Looked to be in high school, but knew everything there is about the products on the floor, I mean every item, and how it benefits different situations. Brought my two sons in. She immediately picked up on the one that has outrageously high arches and picked the exact right sneakers for him. The other has low arches. I finally bought a pair of running shoes here today. I came here with my daughter and they checked out my walk, gait and what would be the right fit for my feet and running. They sized me up, got out 4 pairs of running shoes and I took a run on the treadmill until I found the right pair of running shoes. My daughter checked out several pairs of running shoes too and ended up buying the same type of shoe she got last time (except this pair as been upgraded from her last pair). Just bought a pair of new running shoes from them. They were extremely helpful! Before I had bought a pair from Kohl's department store, but when I got to the gym and actually used them I found that they were uncomfortable and I returned them and this happened for a few pairs of shoes. I was able to try on and test out The running shoes on the treadmill inside North Wales running. They were able to help find a shoe that fit my specific needs and that was very comfortable! I had called about pronation questions and when I arrived the associate performed tests for me and even looked at my older shoes! The selection was incredible. I was able to try on four pairs of shoes and walk around to find ultimate support matching. And the staff is so knowledgeable and actually runners! This is a great, local running store. I'm an out-of-towner who frequents North Wales on business occasionally, and I finally stopped in yesterday. The store, despite it being in the early afternoon, had a few customers in it. When I paid for my item, the associate was ringing someone up who he knew by name. I very much can tell this is a hometown store. I LOVE the feel of it! Very personable! The store has all of the items that make a runner's heart smile. The associate told me about the Tuesday and Thursday group runs, as well as events hosted at the store, including one wear a vendor comes in and let's you try on the shoes for the group run to see if you like them. Awesome! And of course, the customized shoe fittings are available. I would rather have the shoe fitting done here than at a chain store that offers the option. And, there is convenient parking behind the store, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot on Main St! I'll be back! read more

I purchased a pair of running shoes here and they've been great. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and laid back. They know their stuff when it comes to running and can help you find the right shoe for your body and running habits. The gentleman took the time to evaluate the shoe size and how I was walking and standing. I have been wearing the wrong size shoe forever. Excellent local running shop. Staff knows their stuff and is helpful without being pushy. Store was crowded that day and they also did a nice job of making sure everyone was attended to. You'll get the gait analysis and they'v got a treadmill like any running shop worth its salt has. Very good selection for shoes and apparel. You'll pay a little more than you would at Dicks, but pricing remains fair. Small tradeoff for getting what you actually need to put the miles away. While purchasing a Feetures arch sleeve, the staff also showed me a new lacing pattern for the instep to help relieve pressure on the outside of my foot. They were more concerned with addressing my issue that just getting a sale. That alone earned them future business. read more

I have to say they have the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. I am another flat-footed person who has had issues my whole life, even going to a podiatrist and getting custom orthotics as a teenager and truly hating them (not to mention how expensive they were). I had given up on ever really fully addressing my issues, wearing over the counter inserts and cheap sneakers until I broke my ankle about 3 months ago. I have been struggling for the past few weeks to rehab things, experiencing just about every form of tendonitis as I try to get back to walking. My PT said "you should go get pronator shoes, you need more support" I said what's that? She said running stores had shoes for flat footed people, that they can analyze your gait and match you with a shoe even if you're not a runner. As a non-runner I never would've thought a running store could help me! It took about 40 minutes, tried on multiple pairs, and even went over color options as I am "stuck" in sneakers for at least the next month or two until my ankle is strong enough for sandals/dress shoes. Frankly it's like walking on two pillows (yet SUPPORTIVE pillows), I just don't ever see myself going back to a non-running sneaker again. I wish I had known about this place years ago! read more

This is a great local running store. All the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They know all about the shoes and the gear. If you need advice on anything... they will help. They are also not pushy or pressure you to buy anything. The store has open runs on Tuesday nights - a lot of local runners go and run together. It's a great way to meet new people. The store also helps sponsor and is very present at a lot of local races. It is a local store... so most of the merchandise is full price. If you're used to getting a great deal at big sporting goods stores... you're out of luck here. But... the running specific selection is worth it. As is the no-nonsense advice and personal attention. They occasionally have some good sales where you can get some good gear on clearance - if you're looking for something cheaper. Highly recommend this store. On vacation, I usually hike over 100 miles. Last year, I was peeling toe nails off (think The Wild) and because of dealing with my screams and bloody feet, a friend gave me a gift certificate for this store. End result: great New Balance trail shoes with almost suction cups for rock scaling! Did the best I have done in eight years!! Scaled mountains, ran, brook jumping, and would have slept in them if I could! Staff was great and did not had any bias toward a 60 year old woman, which quite honestly, was the first time for me in ten years.
