My wife and I have lived here five plus years now and absolutely love our place. Very cozy feeling, from the exposed brick, to large loft style windows, it feels like a home. We have a two bed/two bath "suite", as this unit does include an office. The price point, at least to me, pretty good. I keep an eye on surrounding towns, what their 1300 sq ft 2 br/ 2 bath go for, and ours is cheaper in a lot of cases! The amenities are pretty good! Movie room with reclining chairs. Inside basketball (half) court, small library, gym and a game room (fusbol, pool, board games and large TV) and in building Amazon drop off center to get your packages! (This is great). Pet friendly and they do have a small fenced in area for dogs to use. There a dog stations with bags to pick up waste. Garage is a possibility (extra monthly charge) The maintenance staff is phenomenal, Rich has been here since we moved in. He's very thoughtful, thorough, and really will help with just about anything. At times, response to tickets can be slow, now this has never bothered us, because there's hundreds of residents, and, well, just Rich! And, frankly, I don't think I've ever waited more than 2 weeks on a ticket, and if it's urgent? He's usually on it the next morning. The office staff is AMAZING! They are friendly, efficient and hard working! Laura, property manager, you'll often see her out and about, even picking up animal waste if she finds it! Or, organizing packages by the lockers, She's great! Listens to problems, addresses them, and they're usually solved. The property itself is well maintained and quiet. We have had no noise issues in our 5 years, I mean, nothing. Also, safety wise, it's very safe. Doors are accessed with FOBS, good security cameras, plenty of parking. My 5 years here been limited issues with any kind of noise in the building, I mean anywhere, not just our unit. The apartments have central AC, works great! In unit washer/dryer (these are a bit small), dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer(also but small) ice maker, electric stove, microwave, pantry (not sure if that's in each unit) For those considering moving here, highly recommend. Will you find an issues? Maybe, but if you do, it will be solved. Come in and visit Laura if you're looking for a place! Only complaint, and it's nut picking, but I could see it being more of an issue for others, walks are pretty thin, so you will hear other conversations sometimes, or dogs walking above your place, furniture moving, etc. for us, never bothered us to much. But, should you get a noisy neighbor? Could be a problem, but again, they don't screw around here, usually any legit issue is addressed, quickly. read more

My family and I have lived here since 2015 and we love it!!! The staff in the front office are amazing and always willing to help you with anything!!!! Our unit is awesome and my neighbors even better!!!! Whether you are single or have a family this is the place you want to be!!!! So a few tips about this place. 1. Poorly constructed. The walls are very thin so if your neighbor sneezes you will be able to Bless them. If your neighbor smokes, you are now a smoker too. Don't bother complaining about the noise. Management can't be bothered to actually address issues directly. 2. Garbage is not taken on a very good schedule so dumpsters are often full with residents leaving garbage on the ground so expect to see rats. 3. Halls reek of pot but again don't bother complaining to management. The most they will do is send out a general email but fail to actually address the issue with tenants known to be smoking. So not a great environment for a family. 4. Management used to be good but the new ones are totally useless. They refuse to address issues. They never bother provide feedback. You need to constantly hound after them for follow up and even then get incomplete answers. They also enforce the rules poorly and seem give preferential treatment to tenants they prefer. read more

Don't ever rent at a Brady Sullivan complex!! They robbed us out of 80 percent of our security deposit! They said our dog ruined a rug in master bedroom but dog was NEVER allowed in the bedroom!! Did walk thru with them and was told our apartment was immaculate!!! Then recieved this lie today. I am furious!!! read more

I have lived at Pocasset Mill Lofts for just about 5 years now and from the moment we moved in until today, I have loved living here! The location is great, you can be in downtown Providence within 10 minutes as well as less than 10 minutes to Garden City Shopping Center in Cranston. It's an old mill building, having the exposed bricks within our unit to the original floors... it's gorgeous! Yes the floors can make some noise but it's an older building and that's expected (I also use a wheelchair so I know I hear it a bit more lol) Being an individual who utilizes a wheelchair for mobility, I am so thankful for the elevator as well as any help or concerns we have; the management team is helpful and quick to fix the situation. Tiffany and Courtney truly listen and care for our concerns. Recently: The ramp into the building was slippery from the weather conditions outside; without any issues they placed a runner mat on the ramp to assist the traction of my wheels and prevent sliding as well as a runner mat leading to the stairs. When it snows outside the maintenance team shovels the property as well as doorways (and salts the path) making it easier for all. I truly appreciate the hellos the ladies in the office give when we go by on our way in or out. Within our building we have a common space that as tenants we can reserve and utilize for our own personal needs. I have hosted parties, meetings, & done an interview within this space. It's a great space to use; has a full kitchen as well!! The building also has a rec room with fuse ball and pool table. A community library. A small gym (I see many utilizing this) and a half basketball court that is great when hosting a party in the community room and the guests want to have a little game. I have lived at Pocasset Mill going on 5 years, prior to living here my husband and I lived at the Slatersvilles Mill for 4 years. We personally have never had any issues while living here. The leasing office was very accommodating when it went from just my husband and I to my husband, myself and his 2 kids living with us full time, they worked with us and they allowed us to transfer into an apartment they could accommodate all of us with bedrooms. Another example is I was walking my dog and she all of a sudden had a seizure, Tiffany was there and she stayed with my dog while I ran and got my purse to take her to the vet, not many places will do that, she then followed up and asked how my dog was doing. If my family and I didn't love it here we wouldn't have lived here for 5 years. They let us know when we get packages, they do ice cream events in the summer, they try to residents involved in activities and this year they even did trick-or-treating this year. Parking can be a little tough in the winter when we get bad storms ( but also if you just follow the parking map it's not bad) but other than that I have no complaints read more

****Current resident*** If I could give Zero stars I would. 1. First, bad experience is they made us pay prorated rent twice $1283.87. After they LOST our cashiers check which we can not get reimbursed from the bank for 90 days they ***demanded*** payment "again". So I am out 1300 for 90 days because they are not responsible enough to get it to the bank. 2. CNN is the only channel they will allow on all the common areas. They have 2 fox news channels blocked with parental controls. They will not leave remotes out for residents to control the TV's. I don't need Bradley Sullivan's politics shoved down my throat. In today's political environment I DO NOT need to see more politics in "MY" common area. 3. Washer and dryer are way too small. There is room for a full-size stackable. 3 pairs of bluejeans might be too much to handle. Feel like I have to wash everything twice. Takes 4 dry cycles to dry clothes. They have been here twice to fix with no luck. Dishwasher does not clean well. 4. One bedroom is cold as ice in the winter. 5. Ants everywhere. 6. WALLS THIN. Need I say more. 7. Halls smell like pot. Forget about it if your neighbor smokes. Luckily that doesn't bother me. 8. $1990 a month for my rent. 9. NO screen door on the patio unit. 10. Difficult to find a parking spot. Good luck if you drive a truck. Tiffany and Myra were great but left. The maintenance staff is amazingly friendly! The contract is overly detailed to cover Bradly Sullivan's interests and screw the Tennent. Forget about dealing with a reasonable onsite manager that cares about the customer. Tiffany felt horrible she had to deliver demand for payment for a check someone lost. The manager has no power to treat tenants like humans even when Bradley Sulivan was grossly incompetent. read more

Recently moved into the Lofts and have been very pleased with everything. Friendly staff and nice amenities, beautiful property. The loft is quiet, spacious and well maintained. I have not run into any issues and everyone I have met has a similar opinion. Overall great place. read more

The lofts at pocasset mills are visually very nice looking apartments. Which is where the positives start and stop. The apartments are partitioned by dry wall so you literally hear everything from surrounding apartments. They aim to eliminate mice but I had them the entire year I lived there. Which most likely was attributed to always over flowing dumpster outside the building. They do not recycle here either so everything went into the trash. Management has endless rules you need to adhere to and be ready to fight for your security deposit because they will find something to deduct for. They attempted to take $70 from me for lint in the dryer and a spot on the bottom of the stove. I fought them and we settled on $40, not sure how a spot in the stove is not covered under normal wear. Snow removal, getting your packages, and having something fixed was literally the biggest pain in the ass. This place is in a dumpy area as well, overall I would not rent here again. Also I'm fairly certain I wrote this review once before and it was removed. Could be why there are no reviews on this place? I have only been in the mills for two months thus far. The staff has been friendly, I have not had one issue with the unit and visually I am very happy with how my apartment looks. (I'll upload pictures at a later date). My particular hallway on the first floor is very quite and I do not have one complaint about any other tenant. After I signed, I realized I knew a fair amount of people that lived here and their review was in-line with my experience thus far. Pros: Visually nice, I like my layout, I have two bedrooms so I love the extra bathroom. Staff is very nice, I use the inside half basketball court, although many people don't seem to. The staff is amazing, in particular, Michaela. Cons: Parking is very tough for the most part I am most likely going to purchase a spot inside, they are limited and also do have a recurring monthly cost. My unit does not have a lot of storage, but this is my first in a loft style so it most likely is expected. The walls are pretty thin, I am lucky to have two quite neighbors. Parking for guests is tough after hours with the fear of their cars being towed after 5pm - the guest parking is too far away for anyone I would invite over. I am sure this review will change over time, although I can firmly say I do not regret signing here and I am very happy with my decision. Tiffany whom is the on site Asst. Property manager sent instructions to my email on applying as well as photos of the units,Since I am relocating across country . I had my family member drop off the deposit within less than 24 hrs she declined me without checking anything (job,residential history) nor verification from my landlord .She illegaly ran my credit because a notarized release allowing permission had to be signed before she can run my credit or contact anyone to proceed forward with the application process,she didn't even have a copy of my d.l.'s this is what you call racial profiling at its finest. When I confronted her she became defensive and rude I asked for the corporate number and her mgr's number to file a formal complaint and she hung up on me I have never felt so belittled in my life .She had the gall to say I had something on my rental history which was laughable I have had the same residence for 4+yrs no evictions etc.... I am taking this further .I WILL BE contacting the B.B.B. ,the Corporate office, as well as the Dept.of Justice for housing discrimination. The place looks good and is secure , has a few decent amenities. But.. It's not in the best area, has limited parking, The walls are extremely thin and floors are original and screechy, u can hear every step/ word . Be prepared to wake up whenever ur neighbor/s does daily. (I had a terrible one on one side and a good on the other) My neighbor was a heavy woman who didn't work (always stomping and talking extremely loud) and her man woke up at 5. U can also hear the hallway/ above or below. After complaining 5 times it never got better and i had to move out early and pay extra rent to leave, because nothing was done. Absolutely ridiculous application process. It's set up to favor a certain kind of people. I definitely feel like i was Discriminated against in the application process, due to being African American and This is why: I was Given the run around several times while I waited for my application to be processed.( Which took over a week and several follow up calls from me ) I was told i needed a cosign because i didn't "income qualify". So once i got the co-signer and met the requirements and went through the whole application process i was STILL DENIED and told i was "ineligible to use a co-signer"...after the fact. which personally feels like nothing but pure racial discrimination. How is it possible to be ineligible for a co-signer ? How is it even legal to allow the use of a co-signer in the application process but then later on, choosing who can and can't use one based on whatever messed up logic they have. Ive contacted the corporate office for an exact explanation as to why i was denied because and i got a lame "cover our ass excuse" where they blamed the receptionists at the lofts for the "miscommunication " . So in all I feel like they looked for any and every excuse to deny me even after I met The requirements strictly because I'm black. Just save your time and dignity by looking elsewhere , there are other lofts and apartments that would be happy to have people of color. read more
