So come this fall, we started calling some of the bigger and closer chimney places, but they didn't seem to want to try to fit us in this season or didn't even know if they serviced our type of fireplace. We didn't seem like a big priority. So I saw how many good reviews Chimney Care Guys had, and asked my husband to call them. Husband handled 95% of the experience and it was excellent, they were so helpful and renovated our fireplace so it's now remote control operated (read: idiot proof!) and clean and no carbon monoxide! Just SO pleased with the service and the fact that they treated us like valued customers and got us set u for this season even though we waited until November to call. Frankly I'm so happy my 16 year old senior cat is back to her spot in front of the fireplace.

He then wiped off the inside of my fireplace box, and charged me for a service call to check out the chimney, which he did not do, and for a cleaning, which he did not do. He was not able to physically even do it. He charged me 325.00 for it. When I discussed the price with him, he said he wiped off he inside of fireplace and that was cleaning. I paid him, which I should not of done. I think his behavior was both unethical and underhanded. I would never use this company again, nor would I ever refer him to anyone.
