So come this fall, we started calling some of the bigger and closer chimney places, but they didn't seem to want to try to fit us in this season or didn't even know if they serviced our type of fireplace. Husband handled 95% of the experience and it was excellent, they were so helpful and renovated our fireplace so it's now remote control operated (read: idiot proof!) and clean and no carbon monoxide!
