In addition to the delicious hot and cold specialty drinks, LCC offers a variety of pastries for you to grab and go. My experience was a black drip coffee and a blueberry scone. Both were so good, I stopped by on my way out of Ely, for one more fix. This was our favorite cup of coffee in Ely. I got a caramel mocha (hot) and my partner got a cold brew, and we were really happy with our drinks. They were fast, friendly, and genuine. They also had a lot of unique options on the menu for your caffeine fix, like a Red Bull spritzer or slushy. Very cute little cabin. First and foremost, what a cute little place! My husband and I swung by here last weekend when it seemed like everything else was still closed. I ordered the frozen mocha and I swear, before I even had a chance to look back the guy was handing it to me. So fast! Plus, it tastes almost exactly like Dunn Bro's Chocolate Nirvana. Yum!!! My husband got a strawberry Red Bull slushy-thing and it was also really, really good!! If we're back in the Boundary Waters area, we'll be stopping by again for sure! read more

Coffee shop the size of a food truck located on the Main Street of Ely. Blink and you'll miss it. Recommended by a couple of Piragis staff members and they were right. Best coffee in the region. Picked up a large cup of regular drip coffee and it kept me powered for the next few hours of paddling. Certainly worth a visit if you're up and about in the morning in Ely. read more

This place has excellent coffee, and it is so convenient to drive thru. I crave this coffee when I am away, and I go here every chance I can while in Ely! My favorite is the Blueberry Muffin Cappucino. I get the hot coffee version on cold weather days and the frappe version in summer on hot days. Both are excellent and It hits the spot! Really great coffee in a drive in time saving stop. The staff is always very nice, coffee is done quick and tastes great! I am a fan of the depth charge with room for cream and a little honey. I have been up to Ely 3 times, and 2 of those 3 times, this shop has been closed when it is supposed to be open. It is frustrating when it is the only coffee shop in Ely and you are looking forward to a latte to fuel your 9 hour drive back home. I don't think I will bother trying to come here again for all my future trips to Ely. read more

One of my favorite coffee places in Ely. It's got good coffee, a decent selection, and good service. It's open pretty early too, which is nice if you're on your way to your boundary water's adventure early in the morning. I'd say it's a bit on the spendy side for coffee though, and no, I'm not comparing it to gas station prices. Recommended. read more

Exceptional tasting coffee. Stopped by after swinging into town and loved the little drive thru set up. The barista was very well friendly and knowledgable. Just got a large of the medium roast, enjoyed it so I picked up a pound! Excited to take this home and grind this up for myself. They offered an array of sweets and snacks and a good variety of coffee choices. They also have a daily feature drink which I like when coffee shops do that; gives the baristas a chance to express their creativity! Saw this little gem on our way through Ely, MN. They have a walk up and drive through window at the adorable log cabin, so choose your own adventure!
