As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the Hot Air candy (milk and dark chocolate covered) is exceptional. Every time we pass through Virginia we end up splurging on a pound, which rarely lasts us more than a few days it is so addictive. Another reviewer notes that the interior and offerings have eroded over time, which my wife (who grew up here) agrees with. However, it is still worth the visit. Enjoy!

If you add sugar to your coffee, they had the real thing, plus raw sugar and a rainbow of artificial sugars to choose from. I got a grin that the ice cream they offer was a small town company back home in Illinois. They serve, Prairie Farms. Which is based in, Carlinville, Illinois. I was shocked to see a true favorite from my childhood, Bonomo Taffy. If I didn't have crowns and caps, I would have treated myself to one. They were my treat after church when we'd go to the drug store to pick-up the Sunday paper. They had a expanded offering of Hershey chocolate bars, but they did not have any Kit Kat bars. Not having the expanded varieties of my favorite candy bar (Kit Kat) is why they only got a 3 Star rating.
