Good food but pricey, fun atmosphere and friendly people.

Good selection of booze, but I came because I saw several reviews saying that the pool tables were in great shape. I even called in advance and asked, the bartender said the tables were really nice. We parked and went inside. Old Valley tables with stains all over the felt. The tables are way out of level and maintenance is an absolute afterthought. I was led to believe they were exactly what they were not. I don't approve of people lying to me in order to get me to spend money. This bar is a barely maintained dump. I think most people have covered most of the major points, though I'd say that there are dive bars that are fun and then there are dive bars that are just s holes. This place is closer to the latter. But what I really wanna comment on is why is it called the log cabin? There is nothing remotely log cabinish about it! New name suggestion - cinder block bomb shelter. Ok this is a dive bar! But with that being said I come here for the food first, drinks second, entertainment is decent with the DJ on fridays or saturdays if I remember correctly. The cooks are phenomenal, wait staff pleasant and fast. Needs some Bar Rescue imho due to management but I won't go their. Definitely the local pit stop after the grind. I recommend the Burger dip with swiss and bacon! Order a salad instead of fries otherwise be prepared for a food coma!. read more

I have never been so disrespected in my life. I understand that things get stressful when your co workers call out, but the bartender was completely out of line. My husband and I had one beer and then try to go back for another drink. She refuses saying that the liquor board is in and takes our full drinks, out of our hands and throws them out. We paid for those drinks, are sober, and treats us like we are garbage. I am never coming back again and I will tell everyone I know about how horrible your location is. I am a GM of a restaurant and you will be going out of business soon. I can relate when a restaurant is low on staff, but this is uncalled for. The Log Cabin has been a bar that I have been going to for the last 20 years, on and off, for the most part I have enjoyed my time. They have completely restructered the establishment from head to toe. The aesthetics and structure of the bar has been greatly modernized, but for theme and inner workings of the location, is another story. I used to enjoy the laid back, late week, celebratory outings with my friends and coworkers. As of late it has been turned into "more or less" a club theme. Modern hip-hop, dance and absurd DJ mixes which have completely taken over the bar I once loved Over the last few months I've noticed the bartenders are completely inconsiderate, care more about the tip than the consumer, and are more than willing to turn away new/unknown customers. Security has done a good job keeping out those whose do not belong, but have also failed in many other fashions. The bathrooms have been filled with left over drugs/paraphernalia (due to mostly employees) and have let under the influence citizens leave without consideration I've given a two star rating for more than just my personal experiences/acknowledgements. I haven't been the only one to feel this way about this location over the last few months, I am just the only one willing to come out and speak my mind. Thank you. read more

Beer selection and food is good. However, service and any concerns about customer satisfaction are seriously lacking. We (four of us) decided to spend our Seahawk Sunday watching the game and playing darts there and I felt good about it as I had visited there a couple of times before, a year ago. Problem #1: They leave the back door propped open on a cold December day. Left us in the cold and allowed a steady stream of cigarette smoke to enter the bar. Hey smokers! thanks for standing right by the open door so we could inhale your smoke while we try to enjoy our food. Disgusting, and I know you don't give a f**k. You may be thinking "why didnt you just move to a warmer part of the bar?" Remember, we were there to play darts, so moving away from the dart boards was not what we wanted to do. Last time I checked, you go inside to get out of the cold, not the other way around. They did close the door when we asked, but then it was quickly re-opened again. My friend walked over and closed it a second time, but it was clear that the door was going to be left open no matter how many times it was closed. Smokers rule at this bar. That is clear. Consider renaming the place "Smokers Cabin Pub". Problem #2: Servers didn't seem interested in our needs at all, but did take time for frequent smoke breaks. If you spend nearly four hours in a bar, you expect to see your server more than just the initial greeting when you come in. Anytime we wanted something we had to go stand in line to ask for it. I'm not a regular, but I was interested in becoming one. Not now. I know, they probably don't want me as a customer anyway, which is probably why they are the mediocre place that they are. Reading other reviews, it appears that Crystal is THE bartender that does a great job. Wish you were there yesterday Crystal. Probably best to order your food to go here, unless you enjoy smoke with your french fries. read more

Well the place is pretty large but they have enough staff for it. When you walk up to the bar you need to make sure you get the attention of the multiple bartenders cause the first or second will not pay attention to you besides the service been sucky the place is pretty cool the people are all regulars or almost regulars which makes it pretty cool. After ordering 2 drinks you get pretty good service the bartenders actually acknowledge you. Place pretty good fish and chips could never go wrong. read more

One of the absolute worst places I've ever been to at this point. The security guards are some of the most aggressive, rude people to customers.Waited in line for over 30 minutes, just to have people walk right in If they know the people at the door or if they are a regular. The guards then tell us the bar is at max occupancy and once 5 people come out one person can go in. Which obviously doesn't make sense when you keep letting people in. This is not a high end night club in Seattle that people need to be waiting in line for periods of time that long, I have never seen this place that over packed. If 5 people come out 5 people go in, simple math. Do you want to make money? At the end of the day this is a business. You don't get to pick and choose who gets In and who doesn't .As well as of they are totally disrespectful to women, calling them b** which is completely uncalled for. I have friends that come here weekly and reserve tables, I've also been coming here for a few years, and this consistent behavior has been more recent,Probably within the last year.It's unfortunate that these are the people you have reflecting your business. First off this place is a pretty big dive. They are in serious need of remodeling. BUT I have reason to believe they are in the works of that. They recently got new food which is great and new bartenders that are very pretty. This is that hole in the wall place you hate to love.
