I would have never thought to go into this place, but it was my buddy's birthday and he invited is to come out. What a great place! A hidden gem for sure if you are looking for a place to bring your group and have great food, strong drinks, friendly service, and a SMALL bill. I'm serious! I could not believe how cheap my food and drinks were! Their chicken nachos were amazing. I order a half order, which was the size of a full order anywhere else. As for my cocktail, I ordered my usual Cazadores tequila with soda water and a splash of grapefruit juice...wow...it was perfect and strong, and only $8! I usually pay $15 everywhere else and it comes watered down. I will definitely be coming back to this place. A big shout out to our server Niki who did an amazing job and was smiles the whole time. There are pool tables, darts, and pull tabs too. Great vibes in this place!

We've had a lot of nachos over the years and we always compare the to the ones at Time Out. We came back tonight just to see if they really are as good as we think they were. The answer is a resounding yes. All time best nachos from Sultan to Vancouver can be found at the Time Out Ale House!

So I have now been here at least 8 times over the last 9 years. Every meal & dining experience has been wonderful. Went today with 2 girlfriends for lunch. Our server Nikki was fantastic. She took care of our beverage orders promptly and then took our food orders. I got the San Francisco Melt sandwich. It was delicious but messy. The guacamole, tomatoes and BBQ aioli sauce made it pretty wet. I would order it again without the guacamole and aioli sauce. Friend #1 ordered the fish and chips and she liked them except the coleslaw was a little overdressed. Friend #2 had the Blue Cheese Burger and she liked it except that she thought it was missing enough blue cheese. I have done previous reviews mentioning that I wish they were closer to where I live and I still feel the same way. I think the U-District area would greatly benefit from a restaurant like this. A clean & comfortable restaurant with lots of TV's and great food is a winner in my book.

One of our favorite bartenders/servers moved here from another spot, so we've moved our allegiance here. (Note to owners and bosses: we come for the service and personalities. Take care of your good people!) Once here, our friend Mel told us that the food is all prepared fresh and told us the cheese sticks snd bbq pizza is fabulous. She was right! So we're back - this time for burgers. Burgers are hand pressed, fire grilled, and served on brioche buns. (Beat that, Poodle Dog!) Good drinks too.

The food here was really good (I had a spicy burger), and our waitress was friendly and kind. The atmosphere also seemed family oriented.

The food is really good. Service is a little slow at times. Good place to watch the game be it football or baseball.

    Are children allowed?

    Yes. Until 9pm

Do they have a banquet room or separate space where' around 30 people could celebrate a birthday?

No I don't believe so. The restaurant is a single large open room with tables that are all open seating, first come first served.

Ambiance is korean pocha/late night bar setting and they are open until 2am! There's limited seating during their busy hours so definitely come earlier if you can. Lots of parking outside. Everytime I visit here, I ALWAYS get the creamy bulgolgi udon. This dish is super unique and I've never seen it elsewhere. The sauce is so flavorful and pairs perfectly with the bouncy/chewy udon and well marinated bulgolgi. The pork belly kimchi udon is good as well if you like a spicy kick. We also ordered the half and half fried chicken (original and yangnyeom) and it was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside! My friend enjoyed the spicy seafood stir fry which paired well with a bottle of soju but they also have lots of other drinks (nonalcoholic) to choose from! after a long night out or just for a casual lunch/dinner-- definitely a go to spot for me.

We ordered the japchae, honey garlic Korean fried chicken, regular fried chicken, rose udon with pork belly, and a few bottles of soju. Honestly, this is the kind of food that tastes better when you are drinking. If you came here strictly for the food, you might think it was just decent, but as Korean bar food or a midnight bite, it works really well. The chicken was satisfying, the rose udon was rich and comforting, and everything paired nicely with the soju. Is it the best Korean food I have ever had? No. But with decent food, good company, and a few drinks, it makes for a genuinely fun night. I would probably come back for the atmosphere and late-night experience, although I am not sure I would specifically crave any one dish.

I've had about 5 burger at J Macs over the years and none have impressed me. I just found out the Renton location closed and I also believe they had a Lynnwood location which also is gone, leaving this lone establishment. We changed it up and decided to try Happy Hour. This is the best Happy Hour menu I have seen in recent memory. Solid selection and reasonable prices. I went with the Potato Skins and I have to tell you, they were the largest skins I've ever seen making it a killer deal. Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. Not enough bacon and I would have rather had ranch instead of sour cream. I think Black Angus has the best Potato Skins around now that Claim Jumpers is gone and unless they changed the menu, they are available for Happy Hour there. Again, the skins here did not impress, but the price and portion blew me away, so these guys are going to get 4 stars from me. Jimmy's and Billy's may have the same owner, but the recipes differ, I think Billy is more flavorful and consistent, but you get more meat selections at Jimmy's. Good news is they are only a couple miles apart. So choose wisely and enjoy either way.
