After a horrendous experience with Sears and their contracted delivery people, I sent 5k of appliances back and started over. I've decided to do business with only locally owned businesses from this point on. Logan sent me a free refrigerator to use until my new unit was delivered (about a month). The new unit was professionally delivered with gentleman that were courteous and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Btw, I do not know any of the people from Logan. We have used them for all our appliance maintenance for decades and they lays know what to do and how to do it to make things work right! We called them just yesterday on a problem with our new washer after we moved and they discovered it right away and discovered a pipe leak that we didn't know with the hook up of the washer in our new home that needed to be corrected. They did not move the washer, but they spotted the incorrect hook up and leak while they were here anyway! That is the way they have always been over the last 20 years or so, we may have one problem to be taken care of, but they check to make sure nothing obvious related to it exists as well. Everyone on the team is extremely good at what they do. Reasonable cost, great service, quick and very professional. We cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone who is looking for a new appliance or wants to take very good care of the appliances that they have and prevent problems from occurring in the future and fixing a present problem quickly. read more

Logan Appliance is a class act start to finish! Our sales guy Cody was great to work with; knowledgable and friendly and called us personally to let us know when the delivery guys were on the way. Three days after having our dryer we changed our minds for preference reasons and Logan switched it out for free with a different modal. Scheduling delivery with them was so easy! Instead of waiting around all day with a six hour window like most big chain stores, Cody scheduled us ahead of time and worked around our schedule. Ryan and the delivery team were on time, courteous and got everything set up just the way I wanted. And on top of all the great service, they were the best price!! Repair has very bad service and untrustworthy! Called them to give an estimate on fridge repair. Charged for the house call to estimate but it does not come off of repair. I waited weeks for the parts to come in and I had to call to see if they ere in. The repair guy comes out and says the first guy did not find what was wrong I actually need an evaporator coil plus condenser plus heat pan. This alone is almost $3000 in repair estimate. So I wait weeks with no call then when I call back to see if they have the other part they say they cannot find it. I offered to look for it. In minutes I found the part and then they scheduled to come out and fix it. The guys come in and start to get the fridge out and stop and goes out to his vehicle and comes back with a waiver that looks like it was under his seat. They want me to sign off on if they damage my floor or anything while pulling out fridge and doing the repair. Of course I said no. This feels like a place trying to take advantage of a consumer and not taking the care to do things right. read more

We bought a "top of the line" Maytag washer and dryer set from Logan. It hasn't worked correctly since we received it. It doesn't spin any of the lint/dirt out of the tub. I e tried everything to remedy the problem (more/less detergent, extra spin, literally three items per load etc.). They sent a technician out who said "looks good to me". This is the worst washing machine we've ever owned and we paid the most for it. The worst part of the whole experience was the attitude and lack of integrity their sales rep Allan gave us. They offered an "outstanding credit" of $150 to change the machine minus a service call fee of $110 lol. This company masquerades as honest. Zero integrity and will not stand behind their product. When I asked for a Maytag tech to come out Allan hung up on me. Do not buy here. He actually stated that he wears clothes with residual pills on them from his washing machine and it doesn't bother him at all. High class here folks! There are many other reputable companies in the area. If you want ripped off, buy from Logan Master Appliance!! They certainly deliver on that!! read more

Poor customer service. Stayed home all day for a delivery and they did not show up by the latest time of the day that I was promised. No one called to give any reason for the delay. I called and was told it would be another hour. They could have kept me informed if unable to show up within the delivery time frame promised. I cancelled the order and received a refund because that is what they preferred to do rather than attempt to make it right. read more

I could not stress enough to not make a purchase with this company. The sales department is fine but the service department is awful. I called about an issue in October (when I was still under warranty.) Service guy - Logan - comes out and says it is one issue. I pay for visit and part is ordered. Comes out, makes repair. Still having an issue. Comes back out and realized he missed the total issue. Paid for service again, and total in parts of $700. Four months later, same exact issues. Logan comes out again, does something, orders part, I pay for visit. After he leaves, within one day, the refrigerator stops cooling. When he comes back, he says it is not related to what he did when he visited and it needs another part. I express my concern over his throughness and he offers to have the manager to come back with him with the parts. The service manager comes out a week later for the repair, and realizes the compressor is out. Needs repaired. Logan did not tell me this in his visit. He said it needed a different part. I am then told that my refrigerator is no longer in warranty, as that was up in November. The manager told me they would work with me on a new refrigerator and credit me what I had spent on repairs. My husband went in the same day, Bill, the manager was not there but Alan the Sales Manager was. He told my husband that the compressor was still under warranty, as it had a 10yr warranty. The next day Bill called my husband, said Alan was incorrect and that they would give us $400 toward a new refrigerator. Altogether, we had spent $1080 in repairs and service calls in six months. I called and spoke with Bill. He told me the same thing. I asked to speak with a Manager. He said that was him. I asked for who he reported to and he said he had already gone to them and that they agreed with him. I asked to speak with them anyway and he told me I could write a letter. I asked for a name and phone number and he said that was not possible. I asked if he had to send a letter that day to get confirmation of what he could do for us and he said it was an email. I said that person must have a name and phone number and he said they did not. I then said who does your review and asked if he got those over email. He actually said that he did. Bottom line, I was blatantly lied to, treated like I was not smart enough to know that this situation was mishandled from the beginning and that I was not smart enough to know he was lying about the chain of command. I hate to say it is because I am a woman, but it sure felt like that in the moment. I will be reporting this company to the BBB and cannot stress enough how absolutely infuriating Bill was to work with. Logan, while a nice person, clearly does not look for all causes and this cost me multiple service visits, days spent waiting and money. I could go on about how I also was inside my warranty when I raised the issue, which Bill tells me was not an issue until he came out. Which is also not true. Logan completely missed my compressor was out the last time he came out, which makes me suspicious that was the issue all alone, and when I was in warranty. I am sure Bill or whoever replies on here will try to paint another picture, but I can assure you, this is 100% accurate. I would NEVER advise making a major purchase from this company. At least at a big chain, you know there is transparency around the customer service contacts and management. Better prices also. We went with Logan Master for the service but we absolutely made a huge mistake. I hope you do not do the same. read more

We have used Logan Master Appliance's repair service for a number of years but this time we used Logans to purchase a refrigerator. Customer service has always been the big draw for us to Logan's. They did not disappoint with this experience. We had a few issues with the appliance itself and they worked with us to our satisfaction. A big plus in my opinion was that the refrigerator arrived to us ready to use and we didn't have to unpack it. This certainty saves a lot of time and aggravation! Masters NOT! To bad a negative number of stars isn't an option. We need a new cooktop and decided to buy a cooktop from a locally owned business rather than purchase from a large box store to avoid subcontracted third party installation. An appointment to measure existing unit, was scheduled. No one showed up or even called to follow up. The installation was scheduled and commenced. The result was the new unit would not fit. Their solution was to sell an obsolete unit from a different manufacturer. With a little research, I found the manufacture of the original purchased unit offered an adapter kit that would resolve the issue. The resolution of the problem was outside Logan's ability and the customer is not their priority. Never again! read more

Perhaps not quite as cheap as a big box retailer, but competitive. Service after sales is more important than the lowest price. We have had a number of purchases and some service calls in the past few decades with total satisfaction. They are definitely 5/5 for us. We are looking at major purchases for our new home and will be at their door. read more

WARNING: if you call them out to the house, you will be charged $83 bucks. That DOES NOT apply to the repair service costs, now referring to it as a 'diagnostic call,' which was a bunch of bull. I called knowing what part was needed. When the tech came out he took 5 min and agreed, added he didn't stock the part (it's a common Frigidaire model), so he would be back "in about four days." When time came to pay the bill, I was charged a total of $230 dollars for 30 min work, and the part costs sixty bucks (which they also marked up considerably). NEVER NEVER NEVER use Logan! read more

Bought a washing machine from them. It arrived in box as new. We take it out of the box and it had water in it. Obviously it was used and it doesn't fill with enough water. With little water, the clothes do not get cleaned. Called three times and have yet to be called back. They got their sale but will not be getting another one. Such a shame. We try to support small businesses but I guess I'll have to go to Lowe's or Home Depot from now on. Oh, and I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this place. You only get one chance at a first impression and you blew it. read more

I had Logan come out to look at my oven and they gave me an estimate of a little more than 780.00 to fix my 10+ yr old double wall oven. I was not willing to invest that much in an oven of that age so I paid for the service call and decided to shop for a new oven. Well, after researching the cost of new ovens I decided to try to fix my oven myself. With a little research online, I was able to test and purchase one of the two parts Logan said I needed for around 70.00 dollars. I am very disappointed in the extremely high estimate I received from this company. read more

Had Logan to my house to repair my dryer, the technician was professional and very knowledgeable about my dryer. He was on time and the office call the morning of to confirm the time. He had my dryer fixed in about 30 minutes and had the correct parts for my model as they asked what model when I set up the appointment. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service they provided. read more

Bought a new Maytag frig on May 3, 2011 by July 1 it had stopped working. Called Logan Master for repair, he came out Saturday. He unplugged it for two minutes plugged it back and said I guarantee it will "reboot" itself. He didn't look at anything inside or out. He left soon after. Two hours later nothing had changed called again was told I need to wait 24 hours for the temp to readjust itself. A total of five days later after loosing ALL my food in frig and freeze ...still waiting for it to be repaired. Not to mention it was a holiday weekend that I could not cook out for because I had no way to keep the food chilled. read more

Purchased a used, but certified excellent condition, whirlpool front loader washer and dryer. Salesman even state he was charging more than usual because they were in such excellent shape, and only a year or so old. Not quite a year later called for service on them and #1 wasn't told correct amount of service call and #2 now they want over $900 to repair washer. When calling them their response was nothing they could do. Have used these people before and didn't have issues but don't think I will be using them again. read more

I had Logan come out to see about replacing a vent hood over our range. I was very much impressed by the folks on the phone who spoke to me, so I was looking forward to hearing their recommendations and solutions. Having described in detail over the phone my particular issue, the guy shows up and I asked him if he knew why he was here..."something about a vent hood". Clearly there was no real communication of the issue with him before coming. So I described the issue, he spent less than 2 mins and said..."I have no ideas". So I asked him about a couple of ideas I had, and he said "I don't have any idea of those would work". In addition the guy was not friendly, or even gave any indication that he even really cared. I called Logan sales mgr back to make sure they sent the right guy, maybe there was some mistake. They said that indeed they had sent the right guy...their installer. The manager somewhat abruptly ended the discussion by saying "he sorry for I was disappointed", but it was one of those "patronizing tones", insincere if you know what I mean. Very poor experience. Beware. Logan service is no longer as advertised ("You will find personalized care and the best service you will find anywhere"). Michelle is sassy and rude. And, an estimate costs $79. Here's my story...I called at 8:00am to report washer leak caused by hole in drain bellow hose. I knew the problem, but needed help fixing it. Logan said they'd send a tech same day, but couldn't say when they'd show (not even a window of time). So I waited. Seven hours later, the tech arrived and stayed less than 5 minutes (maybe 2). He wrote an estimate for $165 parts, labor and service but couldn't fix the washer immediately because the part wasn't in stock (for washer that we purchased from them 4 years ago). So, by next morning, I decided to order part and fix it myself. Called Logan at 8:15am and cancelled order. Received invoice that day for $79 service. Discussed with Michelle and got nowhere. Paid invoice, ordered, received and installed $20 part in 2 days but sadly ended a 10 year sales and service relationship with Logan. read more
