I liked the flat rate fee for the process vs an hourly rate which is difficult to plan & budget for. The probate process is slow and it will continue for a while, but it has gone smoothly so far. I had no idea what to expect and the team have guided me through the process very efficiently. I highly recommend Suzanne and the entire team at CMS Law. I decided CMS would also handle my estate planning. Again, being able to schedule the 30 minute call with Will Robinson to discuss & the flat rate fee makes it all very streamlined. Will guided me through creating my Living Trust being both efficient & compassionate with the personal decisions that I was making. I'm a real person that was not put up o asked to write this review but doing so purely to help out someone that is in the shoes I was cause I know what the feeling is like. With 2 prior DUI's , I was facing a 3rd charge of Physical control which would have the same consequences if convicted of a 3rd DUI, with previous experience of how the system works and let downs from public defenders and rookie private attorneys I understood what the ramifications of a 3rd convention would be, So I chose to pay for Nate as a private attorney and fight my charge. I can attest that Nate and his assistance were there for me at every point of the case, I was not from the Seattle area and Nate made it possible so he would attend all my pre trial hearings and I did not have to make the 4 hour drive except for once. After a few attempts from the prosecutor for a plea bargain which I was advices to no take we went all the way to trail, this was scary for me as a 3rd convention would have hefty consequences, but I had faith in Nate and what he was telling me. On the day of the trail, the prosecutor dismissed the case with prejudice. This was a huge victory for me and a big weight off my shoulders. You want an attorney that will go to batt for you and not take the easy way out , or take a plea just because it will be less work for them, you need someone that knows his stuff and willing to press the prosecutor to prove it. Nate did what was right and not what was easy in my case, which I was extremely grateful of as I have had attorneys in the passed where I was just a number to and they needed to get done with my case as soon as possible so they could get to the next, not so with Nate Webb and his assistant Nicolas. They were also enlisted to help resolve a notice from the IRS with which we disagreed and had supporting documentation. Repeated requests for status were met with "yep, still on it, I don't know what's going on over there, crazy right ..." This went on for well over a year. This is not an exaggeration. (And in the background we're getting notices from the IRS of mounting penalties, failure to act, etc.) Looking back, their communication was just enough to keep me from pulling the plug and starting over with someone else. I should have gotten out sooner. Going with GPL was a monumental mistake and it was a waste of our time and money. I get the distinct impression that bigger clients (the ones that don't know or care just how much they are overpaying for their service) will do alright with these guys. Otherwise GPL is a liability. Don't risk it.
