This was sooo much fun! We spent almost 2 hours here and loved reading the educational facts along…read morethe boardwalk and exploring the caves! There were so many beautiful areas along the boardwalk. The lemon squeezer and dungeon were the most difficult but also the most fun! We got a bit muddy and wet but that's all part of the adventure! We also loved the huge birds nest at the end and got a huge laugh out of pretending to be baby birds. I would definitely come back here again!

Stumbled across Lost River when planning a trip to NH to see the fall foliage. I absolutely love…read morethe Flume Gorge trail & this one wasnt too far away. I had heard there were gorges & caves to explore different from other trails nearby along with beautiful pines and waterfalls. It exceeded all my expectations! It says this is a 1 mile loop hike but be prepared- I walk a 5k daily & this trail kicked my butt in a good way. It was moderately challenging- I went in the rain so it was a bit cooler too. The best advice I could offer is to take a backpack with snacks, another jacket just in case (although i layered up), pack rain pants to help keep me warm in the rain, and shoes with good traction. And plenty of water. Beanies may also be a good option to keep your head warm from the cold. And a portable battery. Also, if you haven't traveled with a car like me..then the Shuttle Connection is a life saver to travel in town. Way cheaper than Uber and fairly quick to transport you wherever you want to go. Also for travelers go back and forth to other states travel by bus is the perfect and most affordable way to travel. This trail offered amazing views, great photo ops, and plenty of additional trails to explore. They also make sure to keep everything maintained and safe for hikers exploring. Everything is well labeled and easy to follow. They do say and I can attest- travelers who have difficulty walking or have walkers etc..this may not be an ideal trail. Also, for younger children this may not be an kdela hike because of how extensive the elevation is. You are climbing a mountain and waterfall elevation. Make sure to look up details on their trail before you plan a trip. But well worth the hike :)

A must see attraction in New Hampshire for close to 100 years! Founded in 1928 in Lincoln, NH…read more Clark's is a generational family run entertainment attraction for anyone ages toddler to seniors. Antique museums filled with artifacts from early lightbulbs to roadsters and Indian motorcycles. A vintage railway train takes passengers through a leisurely scenic ride but beware, the legendary "Wolfman" may be drawn to the loud train, and he is rumored to have a missile waiting for unwanted visitors that may try to steal his "unobtainium." Summer heat can be beat with the water slide and the blaster boats. See the environment around you in a brand new way when you visit Merlin's Mystical Mansion. Of course the feature attraction are Clark's famous performing black bears. (Select dates, feature astonishing Yangdong Chinese acrobats, and an Eastern European quick change artist and her comedic harlequin partner. ). The bears will entertain you with their distinct personalities and random acts of independence when they want to go into business for themselves. Sure, water attractions, one over here, there, and there. Segue ride?, yup, -here, here, & here. Trained bears? .....right here.

This was the highlight of my trip…read more I'll be honest I was iffy as it's not "normal" to see a Bear doing things like riding a scooter but after actually SEEING the show and had a lengthy conversation with the guy who does the show, I have no worries. This was fantastic and I noticed right away that they had no sticks or prongs or things to hit the bear with, just ice cream! The bears are adorable and they will not make a bear do what it doesn't want to do so sometimes the show will not be the same. I really appreciate this. The pricing for everything was decent, the train ride was about 20 minutes and I enjoyed it. The food was okay (normal theme park food). It was rather chilly when we went so I didn't get to do the water slide which is my only regret - it looked super fun! I would DEFINITELY recommend and would be back.

My hope is when he has his own kids someday that this place will still exist. It is not a huge park, and I believe it is priced fairly considering the entertainment value. The bear show is the main attraction. The love and care that is given to these bears prolongs their lifespan vs bears in the wild. Bring a change of clothes if you are planning on going on the water slide or the bumper boats. There are a couple of places to get food, but you can also bring your own lunch.

This is a fun amusement park with rides for small children like going to a carnival- they have bumper carts and go carts. They have camel and pony rides for extra costs too! Upon entry we were a little confused as to where the action was, after speaking with the Butterfly lady we headed past the wetlands of ducks- we made it to the coolest part of the zoo! The MAINE attractions include monkeys, sloths, ostriches, reindeers, ravens, foxes, Kookaburras, zebras, lemurs, deer, geese, large blue pigeon, owls, Asian otter, Ankole cattle, chickens, goats, ducks, alligators, kangaroos, prairie dogs, and a lioness and tiger!! They have a butterfly kingdom filled with lovely plants and butterflies and a reptile area filled with tarantulas, snakes, frogs. Our favorite parts were feeding the birds for $2.50! What a fun experience! The birds were so friendly and loved eating from the popsicle stick with seeds! Then we were able to feed the goats, deer and ducks! The baby deer was SO CUTE and the animals are adorable and come right up to you. We were OVERJOYED that we had the ENTIRE zoo to ourselves cause it was raining but the monkeys were still going wild and howling! It was so much fun! Also Moxie is my favorite animal- she is three years old and is a beautiful Tiger. She sat right in front of us and was majestic to appreciate- she is a calm tiger. All the animals are taken care for and we are so glad we made the stop today! It was $18 per person and honestly had a blast. Great for visiting in the summer and early September as they close September 21! Next year they will have a Capybara! We also stopped by the gift shop and got some eco friendly Tiger and Giraffe totes for $5! Very affordable place perfect for young families and fun for children. Please come and support this zoo and amusement pa

I haven't been here in about 8 years and wasn't impressed with this visit. Place kind of looked run down with overgrown and unmaintained landscaping. As usual with all things, it was expensive. Some rides weren't operational. I wouldn't need to come back for another 8 years. Sad the boat rides are no longer there. Would be more entertaining for kids under 10. Bring cash for inside the zoo to buy petting zoo food.

We are DISNEY, Universal, Busch Gardens, Hersheypark so we don't really hit the midway carnival rides so I can't comment here folks but it look nice for those that like to ride. The food selection was AWESOME! Tacos, burritos, blooming onions, fried dough, soup in a bowl, you name it... they had it!!! 4H has a booth as well for more affordable options! Don't tell my doctors! A wonderful 4H petting station that was available for young and BIG kids and it wasn't CROWDED! Shopping was a little bit on the lacking side for a fair... didn't see the vendor with the $10 Patriots sweatshirts... which may or may not be a good thing!!! Plenty of sheep, cows, goats to look at and plenty of photo opportunities!!! ... a little light on horses, bunnies, and chickens... none really for sale (THANK GOODNESS). We did meet a nice gentleman at his horse trailer and he gave us an extensive overview of the Scottish draft horses. I guess they are endangered because horse meat is big in Europe? The big pro of this fair is that it is CROWDED but NOT MOBBED!!! Easy in and easy out... no sitting for hours in traffic just to park your car. I here that free parking is available but we parked in the $8 lot. AFFORDABLE... for 3 adults and 1 child on Sunday it was $23. Soda cans and water were $1 at most places. Average food prices. They had some shows going on as well which we didn't participate. Some room for improvements: * Real bathrooms please * Missing was a lot of the barns with people giving demonstrations * Didn't see any political activists here (that may be a good thing for some people) Overall... a nice afternoon stroll...
