My favourite was Hazelnut latte with Cardamom bread. It was a perfect combination. My least favourite was the Matcha Tea latte. It was just a weird taste, kind of powdery, but I guess some people would like it. Overall this place is really nice and cozy. I love the Toronto Skyline view from the patio. It came in a giant glass just like it always did. The presentation was classic with a whip cream and a cherry and waffle cone on top. We were happy with the portion size - the perfect amount for two. It was tasty! The ice cream was rich and delicious and the brownie pieces were fresh. I like that the restaurant was nut safe as this can be hard to find. We went on a weekday evening so it was quiet but pleasant and clean. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. All in all another great date at Demetres!

I'm honestly shocked I've never been to SanRemo before! On this visit, I had the steak sandwich, mortadella sandwich, cold brew, and Nutella latte, and everything was delicious. The vanilla cupcake was especially good--super moist and not overly sweet. Parking is pretty limited, but if you arrive early enough, you can usually find street parking in the surrounding neighbourhood. Despite how busy it was, the service was incredibly quick. There seemed to be plenty of staff working together to keep orders moving efficiently. One bonus that I absolutely loved is that they carry Nutella and Orzo imported from Italy. It's nice knowing I don't have to fly to Italy every time I want to pick some up! Can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu.
