Cool funky little place centring Vaughan Mills.. Quality of Gelato isn't the greatest, after few spoons, all flavours taste the exact same.. I think if they add a little more flavour versus the sweetness, it'll be just great! The whole place though screams cuteness, so many little things and baked good and sprinkles stuff and funky desserts! They have a little (not so little) seating area.. Good place

Love it! Amazing selection incredible flavours! Not the cheapest dessert but since it's all natural, pure ice cream and not air, or fat and sugar... The amazing flavours and selections impress us every time! Love it!

Every time when I shop at Vaughan Mills, there is one place that I need to drop by, which is this gelato place. This place has one of the best gelato in town. I recommend tiramisu, coffee and mango flavour. Try it and you won't feel regard.

HELLO GELATO! I love shopping and a close second to shopping is gelato. So when I looked up gelato and saw one was at vaughan mills, it was the best of both worlds. This gelato shop is located nearby Bass pro shop (it's more of a booth in the centre), and it's a perfect place to go when you want to take a break from walking that circular mall. They serve not only gelato, but also paninis, coffee and desserts. There's also a small seating area. We tried a bunch of their gelato, and I loved how each flavour came with a verbal description of the ingredients. I eventually settled on the pistachio gelato which was the best Pistachio gelato I think I've ever had- Made from fresh pistachios. There's about 15 flavours to choose from. One scoop is $3.99, two scoops for $4.99, and three for $5.99. You can get it in a cup (comes with a little water) or get it in a cone for $0.50. The cone is so delicious and crispy, tasted so fresh just like their gelato. Next time I'm in this mall and want to treat myself, I'm definitely coming back to have their gelato.

So this came as a surprise to me as I was walking around Vaughn Mills. It was settled in a booth in the middle close to the Bass Pro Mills Shop. They had a variety of flavours to choose from and give you small samples to test out their different gelato flavours. We got a scoop of the Hazelnut and a double scoop of the Stracciatella and Hazelnut flavour mixed together in a cup. Liked how they added a small wafer to the ice cream you can enjoy as well. Both cost about $10 and were pretty good but found it to be a lot sweeter than other gelatos we have had. They offer cones, coffees, paninis etc. Nice place to check out before or after a tiring day of shopping : )

A Hidden Gem with NYC Vibes & Central Perk Charm!…read more Took my bestie to Ravine Cafe today for bunch to celebrate her birthday, and we are still buzzing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere hit that perfect sweet spot, that classy but cozy, with a definite New York City energy. Think lots natural light with big windows, warm and welcoming lighting, and that effortless "cool" that made us feel like we have stepped into Central Perk. Only things missing is the big orange couch and the oversized coffee mugs. The menu? Bougie without the sting. We both had the eggs Benny, while mine was the Cajun shrimp (unique and flavourful), hers was the classic bacon Benny. They were both beautifully plated, yet surprisingly reasonable for the quality. What really sealed it was the service. Staff was attentive and smiley, but the owner stole the show, came by, chatted for a solid 15 minutes, and shared the restaurant's backstory. Felt like old-school hospitality, not rushed commercially influenced like most of the commercial restaurants in the area. Perfect for a brunch gathering, a date, or just pretending you are in a rom-com. We will for sure be back, and with more friends. Thank you for the great service and amazing food!

As part of a growing chain with several locations across the city, this particular branch impressed us with both its quality desserts and genuinely friendly service. We came as a group of seven, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, rearranging tables so we could sit together comfortably. It's those little gestures that make a difference, especially when visiting with a larger group. Our top picks here were the Black Sesame Bingsu and the Tiramisu Bingsu. The Black Sesame Bingsu is a perfect option if you prefer desserts that are less sweet and more refined in flavour. The finely shaved ice is generously dusted with black sesame powder and topped with mochi, red bean, almond flakes, and a scoop of black sesame ice cream. The nutty, earthy notes make this one a standout. The Tiramisu Bingsu is just as delightful, with a mini slice of tiramisu perched on top and then chocolate powder, cheese, and a touch of espresso to bring out that classic tiramisu flavour. Rich and satisfying without being too heavy. The bingsu comes in three sizes: cup, small, and large. We went with the large size, which is perfect for sharing and they conveniently provide sharing bowls to make it easy. We also tried the Butter Bung Eo Ppang (a Korean fish-shaped pastry), opting for the salted butter & red bean filling. It was freshly made, warm, and a comforting and delicious side treat that we'd highly recommend trying if you want something a little different. Whether you're stopping by after dinner or looking for a place to chill with friends, this spot hits the mark.

This bakery is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. I had no problem finding a parking spot coming from work. Sadly, all the Portuguese egg tarts (natas) were sold out when I had arrived at 5:30 pm. However, I did manage to get a pistachio loaf that looked yummy and ended up taking it home. I have had the following items at this place: - Iced latte - Portuguese vanilla custard-filled donut - Ham and cheese croissant My iced latte was awesome. The woman at the counter asked whether I wanted sugar. I declined it, which made this drink perfect. It was cold. The coffee was smooth. It had the perfect amount of milk. I loved it. My vanilla custard-filled donut came out next. It was cut in half, so I admired all the custard in it. It had sugar around it that was the only sweetness that I got from it. The custard had a mild vanilla flavour and had little sugar, which I appreciated. The donut was more on the egg side of things. If you don't like that eggy taste, it may not be for you. I personally loved how different it was compared to regular overly sweet donuts. My ham and cheese croissant had arrived. When you order a croissant warmed up, it gets pressed in a panini machine. It was different, but it worked. There was a single slice of ham and another slice of cheese in this croissant. It was yummy, but I was yearning for more filling. The croissant had a different type of flakiness when it was pressed to death. I used the washroom before I headed home. Staff here were constantly cleaning tables, chairs, and the washrooms during my visit. The women's washroom is a single stall and it was super clean. My pistachio loaf came up to $8. I paid with a debit card. I tipped and tapped. Done! There are nuts on top of the pistachio loaf, but not in the loaf itself. The loaf was closer to a pound cake, but without a whole lot of moisture. It also had a hint of vanilla or some other extract in it. It wasn't sweet, but it did require downing it with a drink. I ended up taking half of the loaf and making French toast out of it. It turned out nicely. I hope to return to get some natas. There were so many pastries that I want to try as many as possible. (245)

The tiramisu was light, sweet, and had a subtle pistachio flavor. The Mille Feuille was massive! It had crispy, flaky layers and a nicely balanced sweet egg custard in between. Very reasonable prices for all their pastries. If you're in the area and craving some authentic Portuguese pastries, I highly recommend stopping by this charming bakery! :)

As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. It was raining that day, so we sat inside, and got a seat upstairs which was nice and quiet. I was looking for a caffeine-free drink and decided to try the Citro Booster because it sounded interesting. It's essentially a blend of lemon, ginger, and turmeric. I can definitely see it being the perfect drink on a cold day or when you're feeling under the weather, although I'm not sure it's something I'd order regularly. We also got the maple latte, which was enjoyable, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. We also got a pastry to pair with the drinks. One thing to note is that they don't have their full pastry selection displayed. There are a few items on the counter, but for many of the others, you need to ask the staff, who will bring them out from boxes behind the counter. The downside is that you don't find out the price until then. I did appreciate that they offered to warm up my chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, the maple latte took a little while to come out, so by the time my drink arrived, the croissant wasn't warm anymore. I would say this is on the pricey side as far as coffee shops go, though I guess cafes aren't cheap nowadays. Our two small drinks and one pastry came to almost $20. Overall, it's a nice, cozy cafe with a decent selection if you're looking for a quick bite.

At first, I wasn't a fan because the flavors felt separate ...caramel, apple, espresso but after letting it sit for a few minutes, everything blended together beautifully. Slightly sweet with a crisp apple note, and I ended up loving it. Lastly, the ginger molasses cookie was soft and had a nice texture, though I wished it had a stronger ginger kick.
