Visited Lola's on a friend's suggestion for a weekday lunch recently. We ordered our food (Italian sub, eggplant parm sub) over the phone and it took about 15-20 mins for it to be ready (just enough time to drive over from work and find a seat)! The atmosphere was friendly, you could tell it was a family restaurant by the vibes and the way they treat everyone. The eggplant parm sub looked divine for a vegetarian, and if you're like me looking for a classic Italian sub you don't need to look any further than Lola's for a DELICIOUS lunch in Natick :) make sure to add the hot pepper relish for an extra tasty kick!! Found this place on Yelp when I was looking for a deli on my way to Central MA. My bestie and I had gone to SOWA winter market and had worked up an appetite. We ordered two sandwiches: the beef bomb and a turkey club with chipotle mayo. My bestie loved the beef bomb. The turkey club was good. We bought food from their take home fridge for dinner in the upcoming days. I got the shells, the cheese lasagna, and chicken parmigiana. Haven't had the lasagna yet and the shells and the chicken were OK. The marinara was pretty bland. My friend loved the veal parmigiana! Overall, this place was good. The service was great and the ambiance was casual - just what we were looking for on a Sunday afternoon. If you're in the area, check it out for yourself! Was looking to grab a quick lunch while out with my son. I ordered an Italian with everything, a slice of pepperoni Sicilian and he ordered a steak and cheese. The lady behind the counter said the slices were warm so I took it as is. Well the slice was cold but still very good. Would have been even better if it was hot, or even warm. The pepperoni had a little kick to it which was nice. The Italian sub was delicious. The roll was soft and really made the sandwich. The sub was not stuffed with meat, but that was fine. The toppings were fresh and the hot pepper relish was really hot, I was sweating when I finished. I love it when hots are hot. My sone said his steak and cheese was good. But Lola's gluten-free cannoli are the real show stoppers here. I think anyone would be hard-pressed to tell the difference between these and traditional cannoli with gluten. I went to Lola's while looking at the holiday window contest participants in Natick. I bought 2 arancini and 2 cannoli. Both were first rate. The arancini were not greasy at all, as some arancini can be. The rice seemed to be saffron rice and very good. I tried the spinach flavor and meatball and both were delicious. The cannoli were also delicious. I wish they offered pistachio pieces to put on the ends of the cannoli, though, because it is my favorite. I have gone back twice more and got the same thing both times, l liked them so much I need to try some other menu items! I just feel sorry I didn't come here sooner. read more
