I walked in on a Saturday, and almost half the flavors have out of order signs. Unless you want Oreo, peanut butter, orange, or white chocolate, mousse, flavored soft serve don't bother. Literally did not have a single plain chocolate flavor. Not Dutch chocolate, not dark chocolate,... Nothing. I slept on leaving this review, but what made me finally do it is that HOPEFULLY it will save one person from getting seriously ill/harmed. The idea of this place is good. It's similar to Koala berry, and walking in, it looks cute. Like a little shabby/country/chic. Then you realize that you're in a shop full of kids eating frozen yogurt, and yet over half of the toppings don't have serving spoons in them. So that means they either used their fingers or their personal spoon, just mixing everything. It's just gross. The chance of allergic reaction or just plain germs is so high, I have no idea how they're allowed to be open. read more

The girl, the counter didn't know what Boba was what. She then went back to make the Boba drinks and in the middle of making it served a seven other customers and then went back to complete the order. And, it is not real boba. It is Boba brand popping pearls, not authentic boba. If you want a cup of tea with a half of cup of popping pearls, this is great. I love this place! Locally owned! And the most glorious amount of options out of in fro yo place I've ever been to (and I've been to dozens)!! Around 6 fro yo options, including dairy free. Then about 6 real ice cream they can scoop for you. A couple dozen toppings in the cooler. Another 3 dozen or so dry toppings on the counter. Then multiple syrups, including peanut butter, chocolate, marshmallow, to top your ice cream before paying. Plus there is a rewards program! read more

Because when a bubble tea place says that they don't have tapioca anymore you get worried that you are about to drink the sh**tiest milk tea ever. LOLa. She told me in the five months she had been working there, nobody had ever ordered the original milk tea, and nobody had ever gotten the tea with no toppings in it at all. I don't want the bursting Boba because the syrupy sweetness will take over the drink. And I think it's a testament to how American everyone is (lol) obsessed with sugar and not actually understanding Bubble Tea at all - which originally didn't have tapioca in it. It's called Bubble Tea because it was shaken which formed bubbles in the drink. LOLa. Anyway so I got an original milk tea with no toppings - and I was utterly and completely shocked that it's really good! It's pretty thick and milky and sweet but tastes excellent. It would be perfectly at home in somewhere like Sharetea or Gong Cha. What it really reminds me of is a Coco milk tea, which is one of my fave chains. In NYC or Toronto, you'll find those. So good. So, the tea was great. Not to mention that the young girl who was serving me was like the nicest girl ever and we had some great chemistry - possibly because I was wearing a muscle shirt LOLa. I went and the workers were extremely loud and unprofessional. They were yelling so loud I could barely converse with my family and their voices were echoing in the shop. My husband and I stopped in this weekend while in town. We came about 20mins before close so I didn't know what we would be walking into. They had all but one of the yogurt machines running, they had 6-7 varieties of hard ice cream. They must have had at least 40 toppings for ice cream, if not more. Everything from cake to cookies to Boba to granola to coconut flakes to cocoa nibs and pretzels and a few different sauces. I got chocolate yogurt and it was great. My husband got the cookies and cream yogurt and it really didn't have any taste but we have had this same frozen yogurt in other places and it tastes the same way so it's not the store, it's the company that makes the mix. Probably the best froyo in the area! They have self serve and you pay 41 cents per ounce. They had a lot of different flavors. I usually stick with something that's like an original tart which in this case was called Bee bee tart. They are the only froyo place that offers mochi (unless the other places have started carrying it since I was there last.) But they offer different flavors like mango and strawberry, which when I tasted them were a bit hard. They also had a white mochi that i thought was regular but it tasted like coconut? I prefer regular mochi. They had a lot more fruit variety than a lot of other places I've been too and the fruit is cut up in different shapes. They also have flavor balls that Pinkberry had- in strawberry and mango flavors. They are pretty much bursts of fruit juice! very Yummy!! They also have a rewards system where you get a free 10 oz with every $30 you spend. You don't have to worry about carrying a card because you can just put in your phone number! read more

In the past few years there have been several frozen yogurt shops that have opened in the area and I am going to give Lola's Frozen Yogurt 5-Stars, as in Woohoo! As good as it gets! I love coming into the bright green interior, its clean and such a friendly staff. There is so much to say and review, but I feel the need to let you know that this place also has a Loyalty system that rewards you with free Frozen Yogurt. Students also get a discount with their Student ID. The texture and freshness is why I chose this frozen yogurt establishment as my 5-Star! Its very creamy and their flavors come out very well, my favorite has to be strawberry which I like to load up with fresh strawberries, kiwis, a little strawberry glaze, a lot of strawberry mochi balls and jackfruit. Though she keeps a few of the staples of frozen yogurt flavors, every Monday they have some unique flavors that come into the machines. Pomegranate had to of been one of my favorites. This is the place that most places in the area seem to try to imitate, she cuts up some lychees, longans and jackfruit and later they are being talked about at other places. I had a chance to talk to the owner the other day and she was picking out other additions to her already MASSIVE selection of toppings. Sometimes you choose which frozen yogurt shop you want to visit because of how close it is to where you are. Understood, but also know that this place is worth the drive to Perrysburg. I love this place! There is such an extensive selection of the highest quality fruit toppings for the frozen yogurt.. They have everything from giant blackberries to lychee to cut up kiwis and mangoes.. yum! I'm not sure how healthy their frozen yogurts are but they are amazing! Their simple tart flavor is wonderful as well as their more indulgent flavors. I'd eat that over ice cream any day! They also have high quality candy toppings like Ghirardelli hot fudge, caramel, and peanut butter. If you're not in the mood for ice cream just make a wonderful fruit bowl with granola topping. My first foray into Toledo's boba scene was seriously lackluster here at Lola's. When you advertise boba, make sure to actually have boba ready to go for drinks rather than not having any available. That was a huge letdown especially since I wanted taro milk tea, and fruit boba does not work well with taro. There were no options to change sweetness but I honestly didn't expect that much from a chain that doesn't focus on boba milk tea. The taro had that distinct fake purple flavor but it wasn't terrible. Just way too sweet and kinda powdery. I didn't try their froyo so I won't knock them down completely yet but I wouldn't recommend coming here for boba. read more

I love love love Lola's! Delicious lowfat frozen yogurt with a buffet of toppings to choose from. Basically, you walk in, and they hand you a large bucket, which you fill up yourself. Then they weigh it, and you pay per ounce. Don't fall prey to the large bucket! You won't need much, but it looks like a teeny bit in the big bowl. I love that you control what you get, and can add as many toppings as you want....maybe I want only 3 flakes of coconut? I will only pay the weight of 3 coconut flakes..... I don't really care for this place. It's basically a fad that won't last long. Overpriced soft-serve ice cream that's charged by the ounce. I think it's pretty expensive. If you like building your own ice cream with your own toppings, that will melt within minutes on a summer day, then go for it. I have never wrote a bad review before but here goes. On your web site it says opens at 12:00 pm than you go there and it's 1:00. Well it used to be! I went there today to see if they were open and at 4:08 pm they were closed! No sign on the door about times open, I guess that's because they are hardly ever open! I have had family from out of town to come get yogurt here and of course not open. That times was 3:15 pm not open. Also, I love Lola's almond milk tea, it is so good! Well a while back about a month and a half ago, I go in to get one and they don't have the almond tea powder because they took it to the fairs that were going on about the area. Said they would have it back after all the fairs but who knows I can never find out because they are never opened! Besides, you couldn't have one powered almond milk at the fairs and another at the actual shop in Perrysburg?? Why not! I'm sure it's not that much money that another one couldn't of been bought for the shop! Right?? I'd say something about that but I'm sure people reading this review know where I'm going with this!! So what are your hours? I see people coming to your shop all the time only to realize that your closed. I know it's hard to get help now a days but if you own a shop and the hours are posted on line as 12:00 noon, maybe as an owner they could cover their own shop until you get somebody hired? Is it worth losing business? You do have the best yogurt, especially your white chocolate mousse, and salted pretzel but seriously please take down the web site with incorrect times open and please put a sign on the door! People are wasting their lunch hour on coming to your shop just to be let down, repeatedly and than having to go across town to go to Berry Best yogurt or Koala Berry. Please do something about this, people so love your yogurt especially when you have all your machines working so there is a different variety of flavors, your machines go down a lot! Our whole family LOVES Lola's! Whenever we have anyone visiting we always take them to Lola's. The frozen yogurt flavors are delicious, the toppings are always fresh, there is a huge variety of toppings (both healthy and indulgent), it is always very clean, and the service is always friendly and helpful! We also like that Lola's is open year round, unlike some other local frozen treat places. Even though we don't go as often in the winter, we still go sometimes because it's SO good! read more

I love frozen yogurt and most places are about the same, but I must say that this place is just a step above. Their assortment of different toppings is massive. They even have a warmer for hot fudge. Fruit was fresh, place was clean and yogurt was good. The only thing I didn't like was that they only had one size container (XL). Although you can fill it with less, it does manage to suck you in the fill even more! They also serve bubble tea and regular ice cream, which looked really good. read more
