You know what's great about my mom? Everything. Like... Really-- EVERYTHING. Why, just a glance over to the side, and I can glimpse the NES she bought me back when I was in grade school, oh, so many years ago. But, having the world's best mom comes with a tradeoff or two. Of note, how do you best show your appreciation on her birthday? Especially when you have only TWO HOURS to get something. Well, I've thrown the dice and bought her a cake. The idea to go out and buy one pre-made at Cold Stone Creamery came in a sudden flash. But it was a good one. I'll admit the pricetag for the cake was a bit more than I was expecting, but I'm already convinced it's worth it. The cake we bought was called 'the midnight delight'. It was the chocolate lover's ultimate cake. Chocolate frosting. Chocolate ice cream. Chocolate candy shells. And of course... chocolate cake filling. When I saw it for sale in Cold Stone Creamery's fridge, it took me all of 10 seconds to decide that this was the one. Better still? The staffers at Cold Stone tonight were AWESOME. The cake selection was actually guided by Zoe, while Lily took care of the cash register. Then, under the guidance of the manager, Brenda, the three of them set out to add that extra je ne sais quoi to make the cake absolutely fabulous. They used a very charming variant of pink for the, 'Happy Birthday Mom!!' lettering, lightly accented the cake with pink sparkles, and rounded it off with strategically placed pink candles encircling the cake's perimeter. Me and the family are planning on unveiling mom's cake and presents in two hours around midnight, but I'm very confident it's going to go well. (They're open until 10) And then as we walk up to the door while the lights inside are still on (mostly because they were still open) the workers inside see us and decide to turn off the lights and close as I lay my hand on the door. They retreated into the back to hide. As soon as we get back to the car they came back out. 0/10. Can't beat that customer service. read more

I ordered a birthday cake 2 days in advance online for my birthday this year. I usually get a cookie cake, but wanted to try something different this year. I went to pick my cake up on the date it was supposed to be ready, but they unfortunately forgot to make it. I could tell they were panicking looking for it and calling the manager. Since the manager was not there all I was offered was a refund or to come pick it up the next day. I took the refund and left. I definitely do not recommend this location. read more

Ice cream was cool, but the girl with the rainbow bandana, glasses. and short brown hair should have more enthusiasm or quit if she really hates it that much. Saying "you made it just in time" sarcastically to multiple customers 15+ minutes before closing. Screaming at my man what size repetitively before he could even get his order out. I get it retail sucks, and everywhere is over staffed but learn how to manage your emotions better if you're gonna do retail. Little did you know, you lost a tip from someone who frequently tips well, especially on my inconvenience. No need to project negative energy because you're scheduled to close. read more

I. Love. Coldstone. These places make about the best ice cream EVER!!! It's soooooooooooooo creamy and flavorful!!! My personal favorite is cake batter ice cream with brownie and cookie miked in!!! I've gotta say, out of all the times I've been here, I've NEVER been disappointed!!! read more

It was a great experience for me! I'm not from Ohio, but this was a great stop for me. Inside the store is very clean and I love the ice cream aesthetic. There's so many flavors to choose from and sugary toppings (the aroma smelt very sweet| like it added 10lbs to me off the smell alone). If I could look back on what I ordered I would have done the mud pie instead of the banana split (I just don't like frozen strawberries). All in all, great experience would recommend if your in the area. read more

The stone makes a big difference when you want to enjoy some ice cream. It makes the texture a lot better and when they push your ingredients in there, its amazing. I can't even imagine how many combinations of ice cream you can have here. I last got the strawberry shortcake. The prices are up there, but you must be paying for the service. They sing, clap, dance, smile and just about walk on a tight rope to make you happy. I think they are well deserving of a tip even though I give them 4 dollars for a cup of ice cream. read more

Evelyn was amazing, she was training and did an amazing job. 4 of us came in and then two more came in after us. No one came to help Evelyn and there were 2 or 3 other employees standing around chatting loudly in the back. Kylie stood in the doorway to the back room talking to the other employees and saw that there was a line and didn't come help. She walked up through the front made some comment about the fridge and how there were no tips to split and then went to the back to talk again. Then made a comment, after Evelyn had served 3 of us, saying I guess I better help with the line. Unacceptable. Unprofessional. Will not be back. read more

The service is soooo slowww. With 5 people ahead, you can expect to wait at least 20 mins. But the ice cream is amazing as usual.

Not worth the expensive prices. I went today and I did not think they were following any health rules. I had to go INSIDE and pick up my icecream. They forgot spoons.. and when I asked they were quite rude. They were not wearing gloves either. I'd definitely go somewhere else to get my icecream. read more

When we walked in it was rather busy with around 20+ people. The staff handled it calmly and productively clearing the line in no time. With a big smile on the worker's face, he happily took my order like they didn't just complete an order for a huge group of people. The ice cream was delicious as well! Great visit! The new owners are absolutely on the ball. Not only is it obvious that they advocate top-notch customer service, they make sure that you get what you pay for. The quality of their ice cream, cakes...etc. are at a completely different level than other places in town. I went in to Cold Stone Creamery to enjoy my favorite specialty item called the Strawberry Banana rendezvous. I wasnt too hungry so i decided to order a kids size. I then proceeded to ask if is was going to be the same price as a like it SIZE, he told me I could have as many mix in items as i wanted for no chaRge. I went to the check out and pulled my ca$h out and it ended up being 4.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I ASKED SEVERAL TIME IF I COULD HAVE AS MANY AS I WANT FOR NO CHARGE. ZERO stars if I could. I will never ever step a foot in this place again. The owner/manager is Extremely Rude and incompetent. We wanted to purchase an icecream cake and eat it there for my daughters bday and the cashier had to go and ask permission if we were allowed to do so, in her words " I don't want to get in trouble" my husband and were both confused. The "owner" comes over to us and says "I don't sell plates here " so I asked if we could you ice cream cup containers she responds" it's too big it won't fit you will have to smash the cake, I'm telling you!" After her rude comment we decided not to buy it but already had an icecream mixed for my 2 yr old. The best part she goes over to snatch the cake where my in laws, my mom and brother were sitting while we were paying for my daughters ice creams as she was demeaning my husband and I. "he's upset. They don't want it" she said to our family. Unbelievable she got mad at us over paper cups?! For a $30.00 cake! Wow. Never again. Horrible customer service! read more
