I went in with two tiny children in tow and we chose an array of items from the truffle case. The staff gently guided me away from item the children probably wouldn't enjoy. Since we were in it for fun, I just went with the flow and didn't count prices. Overall, the truffles and other delicacies are priced like any nice chocolatier and they items were tasty. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered but I learned that most of the items are too rich or large for my 3 and 5 year old children. My 5yo could only get through half of a truffle before she was overwhelmed, in my 3YO could only get through half of one of the specialty marshmallows. Basically, I overdid it. The store is aesthetically pleasing and smells good. I purchased the $10 rice krispie treat and pack of 5 assorted truffles from the case. The rice krispie treat costs double than the one at the Noodles and Co and is smaller and has wrong ratios of marshmallows to krispies. Its too much marshmallow and has no real flavor. Super disappointed by that. My hubby loved the truffles but they are $5 each so pretty costly. Overall I think you are paying higher prices for them being in the mall and I wish Seas candy could have stayed instead of this place. I doubt I will go here again. read more

Best candy store in Cincinnati? Let's sum up the fabulousness in one drama-filled sentence: THEY. HAVE. UNICORN. BARK. Okay I guess that's 4 sentences... moving on... Like many of the exotic sweets in the store, I have no idea what unicorn bark is, but I know that I must have it. They stock a variety of international brands, kids birthday party supplies and fine/pay-per-piece chocolates. Overall, the candy at Lolli and Pops is pricy, but they have a selection that even exceeds Jungle Jim's. I'm always intrigued with Japanese candies in particular, and they had a variety of gummies and strange confections. If you've never had Ramune/ Japanese soda before (the one with a glass ball in the neck), you can get them here! It's a super fun store that would be perfect for gathering items for a kid's (or adult's) birthday party. Almost a reason in and of itself to go to Kenwood mall. read more

I've been shopping at this candy store for years. Lately though, I've noticed a lot of the gummy candy is hard and stale. It is a huge ask to sell candy at $16.98 per pound and chance half of it being stale. I don't think I'll be back. read more

They have pineapple cotton candy, macaroons, any kind of chocolate you can think of, gummies in unique flavors, old school candy and its so colorful inside. This is a cool concept - an old-fashioned candy store with modern treats too. They offer everything from fresh truffles to international candy. There's an area with candy to buy in bulk as well and a space with retro candies. One caution is a lot of the candy is very expensive. I bought a store brand chocolate lava candy bar (about the size of a Lindt or Godiva bar) and it was $8. Unfortunately it wasn't very good, with the chocolate tasting chalky and artificial. In this case, those drug store chocolate bars would have been better. But, it's worth a trip in to be a kid in a candy store and treat yourself. read more

My most recent trip to Lolli and Pops ended in anger and frustration. My mother and I came in to shop around and to purchase some marzipan, which we HAD purchased at this location previously. AMANDA "the shift lead" was behind the counter facing away from us. When my mom addressed her, she lifted her head but NEVER turned to acknowledge us. My mom inquired about the marzipan, and again Amanda, lifted her head from her work, but never turned to look in our direction, and told us that they did not sell marzipan. My mother and I both calmly said that we had purchased it there before. And AMANDA got an ugly tone and proceeded to argue with us about how they do not sell marzipan. We left with out anything. I calmly came back in to address the rude behavior and perhaps change the tone of the day for both sides and Amanda started yelling at me about how she wasn't short tempered or rude. RUDE. If you can not control your emotions, even when having a bad day.. find a new job. read more

This place has everything! The store was so cute with all of the displays of any kind of candy you would like. They have the old time candy, which the Juju beads are my favorite, and are normally hard to find. The chocolate that the store specializes in, is just perfect. You have to taste it, delicious. Mmmmm. My favorite so far is between the chocolate covered potato chips and White chocolate graham cracker. The container that I purchased and filled, had gold trim all around it. You can fill it up with four different kinds of candy. I wanted to give it as a gift, but kept it. :) I only choose two of my favorites, that I had tried in the store. The container you can take back anytime and get it filled up with whatever you like for only $40. My new favorite place!!!! My Grandkids will love it! read more
