First time coming to a Lolli and Pops store, and I was blown away at how fun, festive, and organized the store was. The worker at the cashier was very friendly, and there was a huge selection of different types of treats, candy, and desserts Wanted to get a cotton candy, and it was very hard to choose from all the flavors. Ended up getting the confetti cake flavor, which was delicious!!! Hope to come back and try other items in the store!! read more

Most overpriced store ever. My daughter grabbed a slime licker and my son grabbed a lemonade. Went to pay. Something like $12.80. Didn't think much about it but then looked up each item online after. The exact same lemonade is $3 at other places and the slime licker squeeze tube is $2.50 at Five Below. What a rip off. So basically I paid 12 something for a purchase that should have been about $6. This was my first time visiting and it was an ok visit. The employee named Bonnie was very helpful. The store manager on the other hand, I think her name was Ass? Ash? I dont remember, was very rude and refused to help me. I am editing my review after a return visit. Store manager is still extremely rude. Rude to her own staff and customers. Lets a long line form with only one cashier, while she is chatting away on the phone. She refused to give samples to a customer and told them to get out and never come back. She needs to either be demoted or get fired. She doesnt need to be a store manager for a store that is supposed to be known for its customer service. read more

This is a really cool candy store! It has a lot of the same candy as the sugar store in baybrook but it also has a bunch of specialty items. There was a lady giving out samples of peppermint bark when I came in. I love peppermint bark too. They also were giving out sample of pretty much anything you wanted, you just had to ask. They had a whole section of Mexican candy. Some stuff I haven't seen in years. I picked some up for my mom because she used to love the mazapans and the cajeta. They even had some funky candy, like rat shaped gummy candy, Tabasco chocolate, and Harry potty related items. We also got some truffles and a macaron! It took me a while to finally decide which ones to get. I got a carrot cake and wedding cake dessert truffle. Also strawberry balsamic, pumpkin, and lavender caramel delight truffles. I've only gotten into one of them so far, which was the carrot cake, it was really good. Not too sweet and it actually had carrot pieces in it! My absolute favorite thing we picked up was the birthday cake macaron. I should have gotten more than one! read more

Here, I can get my personal favorites, my son's, my daughter's and shareable that we all enjoy. All kinds of chocolates with nuts are my personal favorite, my kids of course love sour gummies and as our "fancier treat" Macaroons after dinner. Prices are not as low as you would go to another place but how I see it for the freshness and the convenience to gather all your favorites make the trip worth it. This is a favorite of mine around Christmas time. Why? Because who doesn't like candy and chocolate! The small store near the center of Baybrook Mall has a huge selection for its square footage. And lots of purchase options. Prepriced boxes, vintage candy, European candies rare on this side of the Atlantic and everything in between. Large and small. They also sell bags by the pound of different styles which is good for a stocking stuffer or small gift of gratitude to a coworker or neighbor. And the candy is top notch. Brand label, fresh, can't be topped. Certainly not in a box store or grocery store. Go here for the good stuff. Pro-tip: Don't bring your kids here. Their heads might explode! But you can let your inner child free! Service is also outstanding. The employees in vintage mid-to-early candy store clerk garb, make the rounds and ask if you have any questions. They also point out the sales they have and you might have missed (BOGO, daily specials, etc.). Yes, it's their job and yes it's up-sale but they aren't pushy in the least. I find myself crossing off several gift receivers off my list in one fail swoop. If you're in the mall, I recommend finding this place! read more

What a quaint little place, I love it! I went here with my sister and the staff was amazing and super helpful. There were so many options to chose from, making it difficult to decide what to get: mexican candies, sour candies, chocolates, alcohol mixed candy, truffles, macaroons, gummies, popcorn. You name it and they most likely had it. One of the staff helped us, and she was super nice! She gave us plenty of samples and even made unique combinations of gummy bears for us - like pina colada strawberry for example. I also liked the whole atmosphere of the place - from the set up to the fact that the staff were dressed in stripped suits that made me feel like I was in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The designers and owners really went all out into making the perfect candy store. The girl who helped us even wished us a "sweet day" which I thought was adorable. I personally am a dark chocolate fan so of course I absolutely fell in love with their chocolate section. There was an assortment of everything, and for $13.50, you can fill a small jar (super cute by the way) with whatever candy you want. After that, it is refillable for $5 so I think it was worth the investment. When you're making your purchases, there is an assortment of macaroons and truffles on display. I would definitely recommend the dark chocolate sea salt (I think that's what it was called) as it was absolutely amazing. My sister picked two macaroons, and she loved them too. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor though as they all looked magnificent and perfectly presented. Overall I would definitely recommend. A sugar lovers dream! This place is really neat. My friend asked me if I had ever heard of it, which I hadn't. Next thing I know we were here. The employees were all extremely helpful and they let us try whatever we wanted! They have a variety of deals here too. They have mason jars and bear jars that you can fill up and then later come back in to refill it for a discounted price. I think the jars would be great as gifts. They have tons of 'boozy' gummy bears too, as the lady called them. The ones that I can remember are the mojito gummy bears, champagne gummy bears, and the daiquiri gummy bears. Oh they also had some kind of energy filled gummy bear that was red. I'll probably go back if I'm in the area, it's in Baybrook Mall. Although I need to steer away from sugar, I'm a chocolate fiend! This is pertaining to a certain staff member in the store. I walked into the store looking for chocolate covered almonds. They were out. I tried to find an employee in the store and couldn't. Their back stock door was open and a girl was sitting on the chair on her phone. I said excuse me and she ignored me. I said excuse me again and she sighed and said "yes?". I asked for chocolate almonds and she said they were out and would be back later in the week on Thursday. I call Thursday and she answers, puts me on hold and I hear everyone's conversation in the background. I was put on hold for 15 minutes before I finally hung up. I return another day and another girl, stefanie, was very kind and helpful and told me that she's unsure why amber told her a specific day and that she wasn't sure when we would get them but were to be expecting them. I see amber behind the register and she rolls her eyes when I look at her. I walk around a little and I hear her complaining about me quietly and I turn around and she does a little snicker look. I'm so disappointed in her attitude that she definitely needs some help or at least doesn't need to be working at a candy store that's known for its customer service. She's the only person in that store that has treated me like dirt. read more

She ignored me the entire time I was there and walked to the back. When I was ready to check out I couldn't find her. The back door was open and she was sitting back there on her phone. Variety is good, price is a little on the higher side but they invested in the business so I kind of understand. It bothers me to be asked "only these?" or "it that all for today?" As if my purchase weren't enough !! Look, I spend over 20 bucks per visit and I can get those candies somewhere else for less money. Be mindful of your words because it's annoying to be asked those questions when you can "happily" say..."thank you for shopping with us!!" Love how it looks in here. Great customer service. Since the holidays are near they were pretty packed and the employees handle everything so well. They offered some samples of gummy bears and if you wanted to try something else, they won't hesitate to sample that as well. I got the macarons here and they are amazing. I would give this zero stars if it was a possibility here. Walked in with my kid, thinking this could be a great time to stock up on some candy that were childhood favorites of mine. However, only a few seconds of walking in, only one other customer in the store that we saw, this power hungry pony tailed Karen decided to reprimand my son for not wearing his mask as she had liked. I am not normally one to frequent candy stores, especially when it isn't a gift giving Holiday timeframe, but this candy shop was truly a delight. My teens had started going to it a few months ago, and always came back with something new or unusual that they had discovered. My daughter had even bought a special candy jar which she loved because she could refill it every time she went back to Lolli and Pops for $5. Yesterday I had the day off from work so I decided to go with them to the Baybrook Mall, and my daughter naturally brought her candy jar with her. I kind of expected that I would go looking at another store when they went in to Lolli and Pops, but my kids lured me in with the prospect of getting to choose some of the candy that went into the candy jar. We went it and there were many of the chocolates and candies that i loved growing up and a lot more. The kids tastes are a bit different, so they set about starting to fill the candy jar --- asking a getting a free sample of a candy they had not had before. The staff were very nice and helpful. One of them (Mr. Aleem Khorasi) was simply amazing. He took the time to talk to us about all of the candies, asking what we liked, and making suggestions based upon what we told him. It made my kids feel like he was truly interested and so they felt comfortable asking him questions about other products as well. While I thought we were only there for the kids, Aleem also ensured that I got to sample things that I liked and made great suggestions for me. I don't think that I will ever buy candy from the movie theater again -- I will stop by L&P first! When we finished up, I realized that my kids and I were not just buying stuff at a Mall store --- we had actually had a great experience! The kids were smiling, and I was pretty happy. I can't say that we all have ever felt that way after shopping at very many stores. Aleem would have made Willy Wonka proud! read more
