I cannot say enough great things about Lollipop Lane! My son has been attending the preschool (Ms. Judy's classroom) since 2.5 years old, and it has been incredible to watch him grow with the help of all his teachers and staff. Everyone at Lollipop Lane has been so warm, patient, and caring. They really take the time to understand my son's personality and interests, which is so special to us as parents. You can tell they all love what they do, and my son adores his teachers. He really looks forward to school, especially the art projects! It's been amazing to see how much his social skills and fine motor skills have grown since starting here. He's more confident, more independent, and always excited to show us what he made. The classroom is clean, organized, and full of so many engaging toys, books, and art projects. I always enjoy seeing the children's art projects hanging in the cabin, and we have built up quite a collection of letters, worksheets, and drawings. I feel that the curriculum is perfect for their age and skill level. Our favorite memories are watching the Halloween parade, holiday program, and graduation. Lollipop Lane really makes these days so special! If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be truly seen, supported, and encouraged to grow, this is it. Grateful for Ms. Gina for the easiest and quickest tour and enrollment process! She listened to my concerns and made it happen the week before a major holiday too. My son loves it. When I picked him up last week one of his classmates said he didn't want to leave the school. I think that says enough. I really like their different program/schedules which allows me to take him on the days I work from home and their rates are extremely reasonable. My daughter graduated from pre-k here at lollipop lane and she absolutely loved the school. I was nervous at first because it was the middle of covid and parents weren't able to go into the classrooms or properly meet the teachers. I received several recommendations so I took a chance. My daughters teacher was name Ms. Monique and she absolutely loved her and she taught my daughter things so fast I was shocked. My daughter always told me how nice she was and how she teachers her a lot of things and how fun it is for her. My daughter during nap time likes to feel someone near her and ms. Monique would hold her hand to make her feel comfortable and fall asleep. That touched my heart because my biggest thing was having my daughter have a teacher that truly cares about her. After the first drop off I cried and cried and even called up to the school to see how kaycee was doing and the woman was so nice and gracious , went to her classroom to check on her for me and told me she's doing great. My son was a bit of a COVID baby and I had been fortunate to not need child care up until I decided to send him to Lollipop lane. He started there at 2.5 and will be leaving at 4. the staff and teachers are wonderful. They made me feel comfortable leaving him in their care. You can tell they truly care about the children. I can not recommend lollipop lane enough they are amazing our son went there for 2 years and it was so worth it, staff is amazing super friendly and very child oriented they are very patient and are great at communicating they truly have the child's best interests at heart. I was having such a hard time potty training my child and felt so defeated because nothing I tried worked and Ms. Liz one of the head teachers asked if it was okay for them to work with him and see if they could help and of course with out any hesitation I agreed and within a couple weeks she was able to accomplish potty training him and I can not thank her and the staff enough for their patience and dedication to not only my son but other students. I enrolled my daughter here at the age of 3.5 for the preschool half day program, a little late in age but she was a pandemic baby and been home with me since birth, so I simply wanted to try to get her used to a school setting and now just 3.5 months later I am truly amazed at all she has learned and how much she has developed socially. The teachers and other staff are amazing to name a few Ms. Judy and Inez are great with my daughter as she always has nice things to say about them upon pickups. My son started Preschool here and is currently in Pre-K. My husband and I were hesitant at first because of Covid but we have no regrets! They have safety measures in place and communicate with all parents in a timely manner. My son has developed social skills and continues to learn with the help of the amazing teachers and staff. Yesterday was my son's preschool graduation and it was very bittersweet as both of my sons have gone here. They learned so much and surprised me with how much they love school. My husband and I have been Lollipop Lane parents for the past three years. It is hard to leave your children with complete strangers but Lollipop Lane gave our boys a loving environment that they looked forward to going to every day. Mrs Baum and Mr McCall are such patient, loving, wise teachers. Ms Janice is another name I heard often when I checked in how was school during dinner time. I am so pleased with the Pre-K program at this school. This was my son's first real social experience and he has changed drastically. He used to be so shy and never acknowledged other people. He also had difficulty interacting with other children because of his shyness. The teachers were so awesome with him and by the end of the year, he was the one in front during graduation singing his heart out to a hall full of people. Outside of school, he initiates conversations with kids and adults all on his own. Everyday he raved about the friends he made and of the teachers: Miss Kimmy, Miss Monique, Miss Vanessa, and Miss Judy. They were genuinely interested in what he had to say, which is tough to do when you have so many students. I'm tearing up writing this because I am so grateful for the experience he has had at Lollipop Lane. As for a couple logistics suggestions, it would be nice if communication could be through email especially since my husband dropped off in the morning and I picked him up. Sometimes my husband would pick up fliers or sign up for things and I would have to really make sure that I followed up with him. Also, maybe a field trip here or there if possible. read more

Lollipop Lane is a fantastic preschool and prekindergarten facility. This is our second year with them, and we have been so pleased with the teachers and the facility. Our daughter loves her school, teachers, and classmates. Every morning, we wake up to a super excited little girl, begging to go to school. The prices are amazing too - I looked into a lot of preschools in the area and was sticker shocked. Lollipop Lane is seriously one of the best kept secrets in San Lorenzo. I worked part time from 3/08 - 6/08 with the younger children. I was quite impressed with the genuine kindness the teachers showed the children. The children were listened to and respected. There were activities for the children everyday. I respect everyone's opinion but I never noticed a push on religion of any type. Defiantly worth stopping in and checking out. My son attend class with the older children. He seemed very happy everyday. He brought home fun art projects and would sing songs he didn't learn at home. I cannot say enough about this preschool or give them enough stars. First of all it's the most bang for your buck that you will get ANYWHERE and I mean ANYWHERE. This is one of those cases where inexpensive does NOT mean low quality. My daughters have been going there for two years, one in preschool the other in pre-k and not only do they love it but they are learning like crazy. I normally don't write review but Lollipop lane earns my 5 stars and beyond. I had my first born attended here 4 years ago. I love the school so much that I send my 4 year-old second daughter here even though we moved and currently live in Fremont. All the teachers remember my first daughter's name even though it was she was no longer there for over 2 years. Love all the teachers. Love the artworks my children came home with. Love all the songs they learned. Best of all, for the price you paid and the quality of of care you get from LL, you can't that anywhere. Highly recommend this school. read more

I love this school, my son who pleaded and cried and kicked about starting pre-school, made a complete turn around after going here making friends learing songs and over all having a blast. The teachers are fabulous, I love that its next to a fire station (safety) not to mention the price is fantastic. I love the projects he comes with and new songs he sings to me. I looked at many preschools and decided on this one because the prices at others were outrageous but don't think for a minute that you are sacrificing quality for such reasonable prices here. I enrolled my firstborn here at the age of four simply to try to get him used to a school setting and now a year later I am truly amazed at all he has learned and how much he has developed socially. I cannot say enough about Mrs. Roderick, an exceptional preschool educator. My son absolutely loved her. There wasn't a single day where he didn't want to go to school and even felt sadness on those days off. Their summer program was very fun with so many creative ideas for the kids to enjoy. My son had so much fun and all the teachers were great! I can confidently say that Lollipop Lane has prepared my son very well for kindergarten this fall. Lollipop Lane is a wonderful preschool ! They provide a warm and nurturing environment in addition to an excellent academic program. The impressive student to teacher ratio is 7:1 (State standard is 12:1). Each of my children attended a two year program at Lollipop Lane, which was instrumental in preparing them for entering kindergarten (socially and academically). The teachers at Lollipop Lane are wonderful and have years of experience. All of my experiences were totally positive. I am surprised by Review posted by "Lisa R". Sounds like she was a disgrunted employee. Her lack of maturity in marking up a teachers picture and posting it in her review tells me that she is obviously mentally unstable and has no business working with children. Bravo to the managment of Lollipop Lane for reconizing this and getting rid of her! read more

Just to comment on the other reviewer, as you stated "This is a private preschool." So you have a choice to send your child to this preschool or not. My nephew graduated and my neice will graduate from there this year. My younger nephew will be starting in September. Besides that, I might be a little biased. I work there have since the end of September. The children love the program. The teachers are caring, nurturing individuals, appropriate with the children and EACH OTHER. read more

I used to pass this preschool everyday on my way to work so when my son was ready for preschool in 2012 it was one of the first places I called. Karen (the schools administrator) answered the phone and invited me to come view the school that same day. I was so nervous to enroll him because he had never been to any school or daycare but Karen was so warm and welcoming she put all of my worries at ease. The enrollment process was easy and the tuition was the best price of any preschool we looked at. They offer half days and full days, either 2, 3, or 5 days a week. We enrolled our son 3 days a week from 8am-4pm. I was worried it would be too much for him, however, the school is super organized and the daily schedule is set up perfectly including nap time for the children that attend full days. Like another reviewer stated, the inexpensive tuition does not mean low quality...This school is amazing and top quality! My son is now entering the third grade and he still talks about the great times he had at Lollipop lane. The school really feels like a large family, everyone is so kind to each other and the holiday activities are something we will never forget (Halloween parade, Christmas pageant and the end of the year graduation just to name a few) In 2012-2013 my son's teachers were Ms. Roderick, Ms. Dickson and Ms. Anna. I am not sure if these are still the Pre-K teachers but we will never forget them! My son learned so much academically and socially, they really run an exceptional program at Lollipop lane. I give them so much credit for making my child's first academic experience so wonderful, his love for school and learning all started with them! We had both our sons attend preschool and prek at LL, and I must say we were sad to say goodbye. My husband and I are a bit of the overprotective types so when it was time to send our first son to preschool we were very nervous. LL alllowed me and my son to "sit in" on a class for an hour or two. Made me feel better to see what an actual day would look like, how the teachers handled the children and get my son used to the environment. Over the years we were so happy to meet other local families (who are now lifelong friends), have our kids learn how to interact properly in a school setting and we were VERY pleased with the amount of knowledge they were taught. It was a great headstart to kindergarten! We also love that the school still allowed all the fun things we grew up with as kids. They celebrate all holidays and let families bring in homemade goodies to celebrate special occasions. That being said they are very careful with any allergies students may have. Above all else we will miss the staff. They are truly amazing and care for the students. We will miss seeing them and hope to visit when we can. read more
