This Lolly & Cooks out of all of them (and I do like all of them!!) is the best for comfort and location I feel. Super coffee, a great selection of cupcakes, various brownies etc and the best sausage rolls in Dublin (by a long shot) This with a nice upstairs eating area or loads of room to nibble outside makes it a perfect little spot close to Bord Gais!!

I love how this place is open late and it's great for people getting off work. There's a lot of seating upstairs if you're eating in. There's loads of dinner selections but it is a bit pricey in my opinion. I feel like the desserts are just almost there - they're nothing to write home about although there's so many options available. I feel the same about most of the pastries here... Coffee is decent and they have a few tea choices to choose from.

Good spot for a quick breakfast. The coffee and pastries are very good. Head upstairs for a more quaint experience. Our waitress was very nice, and the service was good.

Delicious sausage rolls with a nice assortment of salads! Not a lot of options on a Saturday afternoon, but was happy with what I picked! Nice little patio. Delicious coffee!

New small place in the Grand Canal Dock. We were drawn by a free mini cupcake promotion. The coffee is very good, also the soy milk cappuccino. Cupcakes are tasty, but quite expensive, if they weren't free, I would never buy them. However, the chocolate croissants are very good, not too buttery, for a fair price. Atmosphere is relaxed, especially on the second floor. Staff very nice and helpful. Free WiFi, just ask for the password. I wish they had more gluten free and vegan options to offer!

Picked up a cranberry savage roll and one of the quiches for an airport snack and was very pleased. The savage roll was for me and I found it quite tasty. The sausage had a nice flavor and the cranberries complemented it without being too overpoweringly sweet. The quiche was for my sister and was feta and sundried tomato I believe. She really enjoyed it, too.

Every day I have dilemma on where to go for my morning coffee. Today I decided for a lolly and cooks. I asked for a single shot soy latte. And I really enjoyed. Usually the coffee in here have very strong taste, when you ask for a weaker option barista ( the really nice gentleman with few piercings) make sure it's not too strong. Appreciate!

Lovely place, nice coffee, friendly staff with good taste for music. I like to work there when I'm in Dublin, since they have a strong wifi signal and a cosy space upstairs. The only downside is that they don't prepare much food over there: food is prepared and they heat it up as you order. It seems to be normal in some cafés in Dublin. I don't generally like to pay for re-heated food, but I must admit the one there tasted fresh.

Lolly & Cook's do great bakes - I'm a big fan of their cupcakes and other sweet treats. The Tunisian orange cake that I had on my last visit was unbelievably moist and light and packed an intensely citrusy punch, while the chocolate icing on top added a depth of sweetness and richness that balanced out the sharpness of the orange perfectly. Their coffee wouldn't be up there on my list of greats but it does the job and the delicious cakes more than make up for its mediocrity. The sausage rolls look incredible too so I'll have to make sure to try one on my next visit!

Moroccan Baked Eggs aka Shakshuka from their new brunch menu. It's delicious!

I usually visit Lolly and Cooks for breakfast/lunch over the weekends. They make really good Sausage Rolls, Scone, and Quiche. The Sandwiches are nice, but nothing to write home about. I also happen to like their coffee; it takes awhile to grow into (esp. the Americanos can come off too strong), but are essentially very good.

Cappuccino, tea and toasted focaccia's, lovely!

We enjoyed it so much, we eat there for two breakfasts. On the first day, my daughter ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was filled with bacon, egg and sausage. While she has a healthy appetite, she did her best to eat as much as she could, but there were plenty left on the plate. My husband ordered porridge with fresh berries. It also comes with nuts and honey on the side. He declared it the best porridge he's ever had and wouldn't share one bite. I ordered the avocado toast, which had an egg on top. It was very filling and my daughter enjoyed stealing bites. On the side of the table, they have a chutney, which was delicious with the avocado toast. The service was good, not super friendly, but fine. On our second day, my daughter ordered their granola, which has a rhubarb jam and honey on the side. My husband and I both ordered their porridge with fresh berries on the side. I wanted to have some of the best porridge he's ever had. My daughter didn't like her rhubarb jam so we traded and she had my side of berries, which she enjoyed greatly with her granola. It was a large bowl, but she did fine finishing up most of it and passing the rest to my husband. While for me, it wasn't the best porridge I've ever had, it was good. The honey was a welcome addition and normally I don't like things too sweet, The Orange Goat is a lovely spot for breakfast, coffee/tea and their lunch menu looks delicious as well. When we return to Dublin, we will surely stop in again and enjoy their breakfasts!

As it was early in the morning I went for the eggs florentine and wasn't disappointed. It was delicious! The coffee was good too. When leaving I ordered a chai latte to go and I have to admit it was the worst chai latte I've ever had so I wouldn't recommend that one ;) The rest is great. The place was hopping when I was leaving which I usually look at as a great thing! Definitely worth a go again I'd say!

We piled in, all 16 of us for an office lunch last week, the place was busy with a good atmosphere and despite the fact that nearly all the tables were full, our meals came out quickly and correct for all. It's nice when that happens, you aren't worrying about clock-watching and only having so much time before you have to be back in the office. I had the burger as the pulled pork had sold out (gutting); the burger, as with all the mains dishes, was HUGE. I'm a big guy, I like food, I will always clear my plate (because otherwise mommy would be mad... who me? issues?....not at all). I struggled here, I only just finished the mountainous meal served with the slightly too greasy fries... but finish I did.... because I'm a good little boy. Overall it was tasty, not so much so that I'll rant and rave and promise to be back next week... but good enough and I certainly won't object to going back! Oh, I got to try a couple of the wings as well - they were VERY good!

Start with some caffeine or stronger bubbles, then dive right into those blueberry lemon buttermilk pancakes. Or perhaps enjoy a full Irish breakfast (with free tea).
