I don't understand why it's called Shield Storage when you pay and then have to dig to find an address and it's called Keep It Self Storage. I've attempted to pay my monthly fee multiple times and the payment doesn't go through so then I get charged a late fee that they refuse to reverse. Not to mention the fact that they didn't address my property being damaged from another tenant and there was zero follow up. I'm highly disappointed and displeased with this place. Do not rent here.

They were recently bought out by some other outfit, Shield Storage. Since then, their prices have steadily climbed and climbed. I just received ANOTHER letter of rent increase. What started at $110 is now costing me $163 per month. The increases are now happening multiple times per year. This is not a local business. It is not a family business. If they offer you an introductory rate, you're going to get locked in to a much higher rate later. They are going to squeeze you until, finally, the price increases are greater than the hassle of moving your belongings elsewhere. Self storage is often a pretty scummy market. This place WAS okay, and now they're no different than any other corporate storage outfit.

My parents moved out of their 4000 plus square foot house they had lived in for almost 40 years. They spent their life collecting art and antiques. Many of the items were difficult to move and very precious to them. The boys showed up, worked quickly and carefully asking pertinent questions and gave us confidence that they understood how to handle their pieces. The entire experience was beyond expectation. Their prices are very competitive and we've had nothing but good experiences. This AMAZING trio, including BLAKE, SAM and SERGIO pulled up their sleeves and went right to work and never stopped all day except to throw down a sandwich for lunch. It was 98° that day but nothing slowed them down. We were quite impressed. Besides just moving in/out, upon our request they moved a few pieces here and there until we were happy when the furniture fit. The trio was very courteous, efficient and kind.
