I have stored personal items and furniture for many years at Wildwood Self Storage. In all my years I have never had one complaint. The owners are wonderful people, easy to get a hold of and I appreciate their kindness tremendously! The unit was well maintained throughout all the years I was there (15+ years). Wildwood Self Storage is by far and away the finest self storage facility I have ever stored my belongings in. Hands down. This is a family-run affair and it shows. The units themselves, especially in the new half that just opened this spring, are bright and airy and have a sprinkler system right in the unit. Van and Clara are also outstanding as far as any meeting any and all customer service needs, and the welcoming signs with three working numbers for contact in an emergency show that they are truly on call for their customers, and are ON SITE (Van and her husband live there)'. I have now moved to another county and was so glad that WSS had an extra unit for me for a few months so I could complete my move. The landscaping (yes, there are plants and flowers blooming) adds a peaceful touch and made every drive through the gate an enjoyable experience. You will never be let down by these folks. They care and are diligent in providing the best possible storage facility experience anyone with too much stuff could wish for. Get this, Van herself told me not to rent a second unit for long, that is a waste of money to store things that should just go! This is the best Nevada County has to offer. I have used several over the years. Even if you are in Grass Valley, the location so close to 20 in Penn Valley makes for a swift passage into a spotless, parklike setting where your belongings will be safe till you need to take them home. There is also a bank of handicapped units right at the front! What a service to those who are not as ambulatory! Thank you Van and Clara for raising the bar on storage facility service and aesthetics. Not to mention the sightings of sandhill cranes migrating as well as bald eagles flying overhead. This truly is a service. Your stuff will be safely stored and any personal needs be met. This is your next storage facility! read more

Wildwood Self Storage is an excellent storage facility. We moved from the bay area to Lake Wildwood and needed a storage unit prior to purchasing our home. We had one of the newer large (21 foot) storage units and it was really very nice! The security system used to get in and out of the facility is really good and the customer service these folks provide is top notch!! You can tell they care about their business and they care about their customers. Seems like that is hard to find these days. If you need a storage unit, you should consider Wildwood Self storage. read more

Manny and Trey arrived on time and got to work ASAP. They loaded everything on the truck at the two requested locations and headed to Sacramento. Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. It began to rain at the end of the move, and they still continued with a positive attitude. I am so grateful for their hard work, amazing service, and dedication to helping me get moved in.
