After picking it up and driving it home a few weeks later I noticed there was no A/C. Now, this was a 2010 Kia Forte with bluetooth audio. The car i test drove was the same year/color/etc. and had the A/C cranked. I brought the car back but was told that there was no way to have A/C installed. This resulted in me visiting the Dept. Consumer Protection of CT. They mentioned they had multiple complaints about this place and after speaking with me the owner offered to trade the car back in for another car with A/C as long as i put down an additional $5,500. That was absurd. He ended up dying a few weeks later and In the end nothing came of this, I still own the car but i'm a lot more careful when it comes to dealing with car dealers now. Highly recommend you stay clear of this place. If anyone is interested in a 2010 Kia Forte with no A/C and 65k miles let me know.

We pulled into D&M to get off the road. The shop was closed, as it was a weekend, so we tried to change the tire ourselves. Mike happened to be in the shop and saw us outside. He told us to bring the car around back.He took the car inside and changed the tire out for us. He certainly did not have to do that. Gerry took a look at it, pronounced it not a big deal and said he could easily fix it. I made an appointment and showed up first thing in the morning. When Ed (Gerry's brother) arrived, he examined it and told me he could fix it in five minutes. I think it took him three. And he did a beautiful job - scratch disappeared, looks like new again. The price? Well, I think it comes out to a lunch for Ed. Now, ours was really a minor job, but the professionalism of Gerry and Ed was so evident. They know their stuff and they are friendly and efficient in their work. If we needed serious body repair we would come here, and we would recommend them over anyone else we know of in this area. I went to Lex Auto recently since I had a good experience with them in the past. My car was making…read morea really weird sound and so I took it in. I was told that all my brakes needed to be replaced along with my rear calipar. They were going to bill me $1300. I cannot afford to spend this much on my car for just these two issues. I took my car somewhere else and they told me that the calipar did not need to be replaced and that it was my brake pad making the sound. Very happy to hear that I didn't need to replace that autopart as it would have been very expensive at Lex Autos. However, very disappointed in Lex autos for trying to gouge more money out of me. I got a pretty good deal elsewhere to replace all my brakes and rotars. My car drives perfectly now and didn't have to go in to debt to fix this issue.

When I called, Luis Castro (the founder and CEO of the business) immediately picked up. He was very polite, very professional, and thoroughly explained to me what can be done and the pricing structure. When I got to the shop, the work began promptly. And it was very high-quality. It was also nice that there was wi-fi in the lobby area, which made it possible for me to respond to work e-mails while the car cleaning was being done. And it was great to support a small family-owned business. Highly recommended. No regrets. I will absolutely be coming back here if I ever have future needs or want a thorough detailing.
