Wasn't too happy when they charged over six grand in parts and services and did not solve the problem

Lousy customer service, will not repair your issues, even though it's under warranty. Bought a 2016 Audi Q5 in early March 2026, they lied to me and told me they replaced the battery and put it in a new one they did not. They knew there was electrical problems with the vehicle, but tried to brush it off bad front tires took it to an Audi dealer, fathers and sons. They even printed out that the tires were bad. Brought it back they said the tires are fine. They won't replace them. there's serious electrical problems going on power steering, etc. they won't do anything about it. They say it's fine. There is a serious power steering issue. They brush me off every time I go there. I will be taking further action against them. Do yourself a favor and don't go to their dealership you will get ripped off., you will end up with lemon! There are many other problems I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture, along with other issues with the vehicle that they will not acknowledge when I bring it up to them, I'm sure you get the picture. No doubt they're trying to push it off until the time is up that they have to stand by it! Then they will say the problem happened after the fact , well that's bull. They treat their customers right, charge reasonable fees, and always welcome me with personal attention and good service. I recently purchased a vehicle from Artioli Chrysler/Dodge/Ram in Enfield, CT. What should have been a stupid-simple transaction turned into a month long nightmare. The simple (and RIGHT) thing to do would have been to correct the issues right from the start - instead of blowing me off and hoping I would roll over and play dead. I found the vehicle on the Internet. I was in western Pennsylvania, it was just outside Hartford, CT. The deal was made over the phone, a wire transfer of the funds was completed (it was a 100% cash deal) and a couple weeks later, I made the trip to take delivery of the car, only to find several aspects of the transaction I had agreed to, and signed for, had now changed. As it turns out, I was lied to more times than I can count - and yes, I can document them. Their totally abysmal telephone system makes it almost impossible to get through to anyone, and when you do, all you get is an answering machine - and getting a return call back is highly unlikely. I wasn't looking or asking for anything more than for them to correct what was wrong with the vehicle (and the discrepancies in the paperwork) and make it right, per the deal I was promised, and issued a Buyers Order for. It took nearly a month of multiple phone conversations, endless emails and one lie after another for the dealership to finally make most of the things right and monetarily reimburse me for what should have never been an issue to begin with. I'm 78 years old, this makes the 42nd vehicle I've owned. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with any dealership in the past. Given the way I was treated, it almost seems it was their commonplace (or standard practice) way of doing business, and I seriously doubt mine was an isolated incident - it was far too well orchestrated, by too many of their people. This dealership should come with a warning much like the one on a pack of cigarettes. read more

I don't know where to start, but in November 2022 we bought a 2016 Tacoma with cash. 1 week after purchase, I found out the wheels were not aligned and I almost crashed to a curve. I brought it in and the service staff were very rude and made me feel like it was my fault. After they fixed it, the following week, another problem arose. The filters were filthy and the liquids were close to empty. I brought it back to them, and they suggested I by the liquids from the store. The next week, another problem... my blinkers were not working. I brought it back again, and they told me they don't fix Toyota's. But when I bought the truck from them, they assured me that I could bring it in for any issues and they'd fix it. So I don't understand why I took their extended warranty and they don't deal with Toyotas. What am I paying for then. And the next week, another problem again... this time I took it to a Toyota dealership. They checked the truck and told me that it needed break fluid replacement, spark plugs, and few other things. I ended up paying close to 2k because Artioli did not bother to do the 50k check up when it was due. At this point we were already tired, I paid in cash, and Artioli sold me a truck worth a new one but in bad condition. After the Toyota service, I went back to them and wanted to return the truck and I asked for my full money back. The manager told me unfortunately there was no law in CT to make him refund my money as it was past 30 days. Are you kidding me?! The truck was spending most of the time in the service center since the time of purchase, and I lost days from work... and you're telling me I cannot get my money back. He gave me 2 options, trade it in for another vehicle from their place, or sell the truck back to them. I asked how much they'd buy it back... the price was $15k less for what I paid for. This is insane. How did the truck lose so much value in a month and a few days. And this is funny coz if I sell it for $15k less than what I paid for, they'll sell it at full price again anyway. I can tell because they also lied to me telling me I was the 2nd owner, when in reality I was the 6th. I went back to cancel my extended warranty as I was planning to trade the truck to Toyota. They told me they'd cancel it but will not refund 100%. All I was asking was the full amount. My boss/friend called them and explained to the the headaches I went through with the truck, and they agreed to return 100%. Now I'm waiting to hear if that true or if they're lying again. I will never bring business to them or recommend this place to anyone (unless I hate that person and want them to suffer like I did). read more

Have had 2 vehicles serviced there and had nothing but problems. Had cv axles replaced under warranty and within 10 miles one ones falling off and the other they never put boots on properly then they said they repaired them and i checked they never put the clamps back on. Other vehicle i had transmission replaced took over a month under warranty drove car home went to start on the morning and car starts pouring out smoke from engine compartment from new transmission. Car only driver 3.5 miles called artioli and kim was very unprofessional and told me its my problem to get it back and kept raising her coice to me . The only FCA dealer in the Greater Springfield area that I'll trust with my business. I've had my cars serviced here for years. The service advisors are excellent to deal with. Not pushy at all and I know they're not trying to con me into anything. Prices are inline with other dealer services but that's to be expected. Their new waiting room is excellent too. Horrible customer service, spilt oil under hood using "cracked" funnel, why wouldn't it been thrown away. Oil dripped all over my driveway.

First off I was sold a horrible destroyed Jeep, I was instructed by the service department it was safe to operate after the "fixed" the transmission and clutch. every sensor went off the day I drove it home. When I did and after the service department assured me you will be safe it distributed fumes back into my car causing all of us to get sick, the car broke down completely with engine failure going 65 on 1-95. let's just say it was horrific. They made me pay for the tow, when they had been very capable to do so. refuses to compensate me for the nightmare my self and dogs endured. instead they put me in a more expensive car, with higher payments, and a higher interest rate due to THEIR mistake. When it came time to sign the deal was completely re written.They refused to offer me a temporary car, they refused to offer a warranty on the new Jeep they issued me. low and behold yesterday that new Jeep went in for mechanical issues with the engine battery. They had me wait 4 hours for a battery to be replaced because they tried to install the wrong parts to begin with. Mean while the explicit language and conversations had about clients was disgusting and they do not realize how thin those trailer walls are. I was lied to and told it would be done in 45min. I had to walk over to the real estate office and speak with two very nice women who called and had my battery installed asap. 10/10 would never go back or allow anyone I love. very bad experience read more

I went to Artioli because they are good people and we purchased a Dodge Ram which we love. The transaction was smooth, easy and very quick. Walter White the salesman seemed to be a very honest salesman so I decided to go back a few weeks later and purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee which has ended up being completely opposite of the first vehicle we purchased from Artioli. Walter was dishonest about the jeep and the features that it has. I asked Walter on three occasions about the features and what I was losing when trading in my current vehicle and I was told I was losing only the full moonroof and air seats which I was fine with. When I got the vehicle home and finally drove it at night I realized I had lost a lot of important features. I called Walter on Monday and told him I was very unhappy with the vehicle because he was dishonest with me and had I known I would not have purchased this vehicle. I've had the car a little over two weeks at this point and hate it. The navigation does not work, there is a rattling in the trunk everytime you drive it, the steering is not right and there is a foul odor that I can't get rid of. Walter said he would speak with the owner who I know is a good fair man and they have done nothing for me. I am convinced Walter has not told the owner he was dishonest with me from the start. My issue is with the dishonesty of the salesman and not the dealership itself. Artioli is a family owned dealership with a great owner who I know is honest and fair. Walter has been selling vehicles for a very long time according to what I was told so he should have known the vehicle options. The only thing that could make this right is for them to buy this vehicle back. On the positive side we love our Dodge Ram it is an excellent vehicle with no issues at all we just wish we had the same experience with the second vehicle we purchased. read more

I went in to get my 08 wrangler fixed I knew what was wrong with it but it was still under warranty so I wanted to get it fixed I had bought it at a different shop however that shop wanted to send it there. I got there and told them that the neutral safety switch they didn't believe me now up to this point I was handling this all by myself however they told me to have my dad call them? They insisted it was the starter they charged the shop I bought it from 500 dollars for it I go to start it the next day and low and behold it still doesn't start. Snake like SHARKS that prey on even 18 year olds just out of basic training for the service. How low can one go than to talk an 18 year old into giving you a non refundable deposit for a car there's no way they'd qualify for? This happened to my son. Just home from the service and stopped in this dealership in his military uniform. He noticed a Dodge Charger from the road and wanted to take a closer look at it. He did not have any credit, nor the means to pay for a brand new car and I'm sure the salesman knew this. Yet, he convinced my son that he'd look so "rad" in this car and that he could have this car with super easy payments, etc. And then urged my son to put down a deposit of $250 so that no one else will come and steal this sweet deal away from him. After my son used his debit card for the deposit, they told him to go home and ask his parents to co-sign the loan for him. I called the store manager hoping that he'd understand this deposit should be refunded. But of course, no, he explained my son is 18 years old and should have known better and that his deposit will be kept. What bothers me the most is that such little respect was shown for my son, standing there in his uniform, obviously just getting back from training to serve his country. And this is how Artioli served my son. I wasn't going to write about these guys but since they keep spamming my inbox, I'm fed up. This review is for the Service Department. I discovered an oil leak on my T&C on Christmas Eve. After calling the dealership that I purchased the car from (Gengras), who told me they couldn't give me an appointment for THREE WEEKS, I called Artioli. I spoke with the service manager, Dan. He was FANTASTIC. He asked if it was okay enough to wait until Monday, although I'm sure if it was gushing oil, he would have taken it immediately. Hmmmm.....four days vs. three weeks??? Absolutely! He thoroughly took all of my information and sent a confirmation email. I dropped off the car on Monday, grabbed some breakfast, and returned. He found the problem and said he needed to order the part, which would take two weeks. He called on Day 10 and scheduled me for the very next day. He said the job would take 2 hours, and sure enough, he was handing me back my keys after 1:56. Everyone there was extremely friendly and professional, yet casual enough so you don't feel like you're just another number in a giant showroom. Artioli is family oriented, and it totally shows!!! My husband visited Artioli to see about trading in our'17 1500 Laramie for 2021 Laramie. They had truck in color we desired. but they were offering us $1000 less in trade than another local Dodge dealer. My husband told the Salesman, Gary Vega, if the cost of side steps ($950) was included in price of truck that we would purchase from them. Gary went into Managers office, returned and told my husband that yes, they could do that. Include cost of side steps in price of truck. With a handshake my husband thought it was a done deal. The hand written purchase & sales agreement did not include the side steps. Yet when we both went to Dealership to close the deal, on the typed P&S it listed $950 for side steps. When I questioned it, financial guy told me it just had to be listed. I took them at their word. Once I got home I realized that we had been charged $950 for side steps. Imagine my surprise. Gave them benefit of the doubt that a mistake had been made. Returned to Dealership & spoke with Steve who assured me it would be straightened out & call me the next day. Of course he didn't call, so we made another trip back to Dealership. Now, everyone from Salesman to 2 Managers have amnesia, don't recall anything about side steps included in price. I did not have it in writing. I thought that your word & a handshake was enough. How wrong was I. I even asked them why would I pay $1000 more AND the cost of side steps?? They had no answer. Insulted us by offering a couple free oil changes, which of course I never received. That's ok. I've been buying vehicles for over 50 years and this is by far the worst experience. So much for supporting local businesses. I could have gone to Herb Chambers in Millbury, MA and gotten a much better deal. Excellent experience purchasing a pre-owned SUV from Artioli We saw the car online and contacted Rick, the internet sales manager, who was extremely helpful and responded to all of our questions promptly and honestly. We drove approximately 3 hours to the dealership and were supposed to meet Rick at 8:30 a.m. We arrived early and Rick was waiting for us. George then took over and went with us for a test drive of the car. He addressed all of our questions and concerns and was very pleasant to work with as well.
