I went into Lombardo's the other day to have my iPhone screen fixed. Darn thing was busted through and through. I had heard from a few other friends that they did great and timely work so I gave them a call. I went in the next day after work and was greeted by the owner, Tony. He was very knowledgable and polite. He said the repairs would take about an hour and gave me some suggestions as to where to kill time around the area. When I came back an hour later, my iPhone looked brand new again. The price for repairs were very reasonable. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who needs a mobile device serviced. So about a month after having my screen replaced my phone started losing track of time intermittently throughout the day. After taking it to the Apple Store they informed me that the problem was likely due to the screen replacement that was performed, which they immediately recognized as third party because the camera was off center and the home button was crooked. The repair Lombardo did completely voided my warranty and I now have a phone that cannot accurately keep track of time. Do not use this place under any circumstance. read more

After another place downtown would not honor my yelp coupon and then after I had a glass put on the screen of my iPhone 6 and it was guaranteed not to break and broke shortly after, I took it back and they would not honor their guarantee. So I tried Lombardo and they were faster and less expensive and super friendly. I will come back here if needed but will never go to the other one that is further downtown. read more

Not sure what the previous reviewers are talking about - I had my iPhone screen repaired here last month and they stood behind the work - It comes with a 90 warranty. My screen looked great but the touchscreen part was messing up. I took it back and they determined that the digitizer (whatever that is) was messing up and replaced the entire screen again at no additional cost to me. Works fine now, so I'd recommend them. read more

Tony is AMAZING. Have a 4-5 year old MacBook that I was told was ruined after I visited the Apple store to have it repaired. Apple told me my best option was data recovery, if that was even an option at all. Referred me to a handful of places for recovery services that were outrageously priced and mostly unaffordable, even though I couldn't bear the expense of losing the data on my MacBook. Was referred to Tony by a friend and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only was he able to recover my files at a much more reasonable price than I had been quoted by anyone else, but my laptop was, in fact, not destroyed and he was able to get it working like a charm-and quickly, too! Furthermore, he's extremely personable and kind and the shop is very attractive and well-cared for. Just a genuinely positive experience from top to bottom. They claimed to have fixed my iPhone screen for $90. I set it on the counter a day later and the same thing broke again. I explained it to a worker, not the owner, and he told me I was lying to him. (His exact words). I took it to a different place and they told me whoever fixed it the first time didn't secure the new screen, which is why it broke the screen again in the same spot. Long story short... Definitely not the best place in town to take your IPhone for repairs. read more

Do Not Go To This Computer Store!!! I dropped my computer off on a Wed morning to get an operating system reload. The guy told me it would be done on Fri at 1pm. I pick it up Saturday morning and it wasn't finished. They hadn't even started the updates. Half the drivers were missing. And on top of that, they STOLE my RAM!!! I dropped it off with 2GB of RAM. I pick it up and it only has 1014MB of RAM. While my computer was there the Tech called me trying to say that my laptop didn't have the Product Key needed to register Windows Vista. I mean HELLO!!! I don't know how you can miss that big rectangular sticker! He didn't miss it. He just thought that I was stupid and would buy a new product key. They have a horrible attitude towards me. But not to the MAN that came in while I was waiting. That man had dropped his computer off the night before, also for an OS reload. His computer was all done in one day. While mine had been there for three full days and wasn't close to being finished. I hold a degree in Information Security accompanied by many Cisco and Microsoft Certifications. Safe to say I know computers pretty well. But, obviously, to them I'm just a stupid Rochester Girl that wouldn't notice my RAM being stolen or the drivers not being being installed. They're scammers and thieves. Go to the Geek Squad. It might cost a little more money but they won't screw you over!! read more
