I was there to change the battery on my watch and after the work was completed i presented the coupon they send in the mail for $8.95 at which point the associate said he could not honor the coupon because he had to remove a screw to change the battery. I have taken the same watch there to change the battery at least twice before and the coupon was always accepted. It was not worth paying $20 for the watch I had. I always go here to get batteries changed for my watches but after my last experience I will not be going there anymore read more

I originally talked to Darryl, who was very kind. When I went there today, Jim helped me and was very friendly as well. They do way more than just batteries. This place is great! I had the battery from my car key fob changed and it took maybe 5 minutes and cost $10, and the guys were really nice! Fyi in the past I bought a replacement key fob at the dealer and it cost me a crazy amount of money like $100 or something. I'd give them "0" stars if possible. I brought my Norelco cordless shaver in to have the rechargeable battery replaced on Friday, November 13, 2020. James, the owner, waited on me. James took the shaver apart to see what kind of battery it needed (Sanyo AA-1650NMFT 1.65 ah). James rung me up and said they would try to have it ready for me by Wednesday, November 18, 2020. I received a call on Monday, November 16th, to say it was ready to be picked up. I went to use it Tuesday morning and noticed the case was separated (open) on the bottom. Thankfully, I had an older shaver to use until I took it back on Thursday morning to have it put back together the same way it was when I brought it in. Someone at the counter took it to the person who worked on it (not James, the owner) and brought it back saying it was that way when I brought it in. It was DEFINITELY NOT THAT WAY WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN for the replacement battery. So, rather than attempting to repair it they just gave it back to me and said "oh well, it was that way when you brought it in". Extremely disappointed with the attitude and definitely have lost any future business from me. Extremely poor customer service and not the kind of response anyone expects in this day and age. If they are willing to reach out to me to put my shaver back together I will reconsider updating my review. read more

I came in for their computer repair and to update my ssd drive. The tech could not clone my info from the old ssd to the new so it was returned with only the operating system on it. They also did not replace my keyboard with the correct one. I have a Lenovo Legion with a 6 color backlit keyboard and the new one does not light at all. She didn't tell me until I showed up to pick it up. She said she would look for the right one and switch it out but she has done nothing. Don't go here. read more

I needed a new battery for my car. I called another automotive place but they wouldn't install the battery in cold weather! I called Battery Giant and they said no problem they would install it today!!! Jim and Squid (I can't remember his real name) were wonderful. They were soooo helpful! The do not stand behind their warranty. Will never use them again. Bought a battery for the Miata. Brought it in. They would not stand by their warranty. Blamed us for the battery not holding a charge overall a terrible experience they even questioned it being their battery when it had their logo all over it. No customer service. I have a Sears Craftsman Cordless Battery from, the 1990's. In 2014 my batteries started to go bad and I was not able able to find replacements for them anywhere. Ended up finding Battery Giant on the internet and they were able to re-build both of the batteries I had for it. They have worked great until now...I tried again to find batteries on the internet and ran into issues with batteries that were suppose to fit but they did not (had issues with batteries not fitting into my drill). Could not remember at first where I had them repaired in 2014. Then after a close inspection of both batteries (never really paid any attention to them)...both batteries had a white sticker on them . One of them the printing was completely gone and the other one was severely faded. After several attempts with different magnifying glasses I was able to finally make most the the information on it and it was Battery Giant Rochester Hills. I just sent them the information to see if they can help me again on this issue. Will be waiting for their answer but either way their service and product that I received from them in 2014 was first class. Hope after reading some of the reviews they are still Customer Oriented. read more

I received good help when I went in to explore getting a new battery for my scooter. The gentleman recommended I replace my old battery as he said it would not hold a charge. I purchase a battery and they said they would fill it with acid and charge it. They took my phone number and told me that would call when it was done in 5-6 hours. Two and a half days later no call. In the mean time I charged my old battery and it was working fine. So I went in and asked to get a refund for the battery and was told they could not put it back on the rack now that is was filled. (I later found this to be a policy and not a law as they would have me think). I told the owner that they did not call me at all when it was done and his response was, "it's ready now, it takes 5-6 hours to charge. Sorry(in a flippant consending tone)" and then he walked away. I found this entire second interaction distasteful and lacking any decent level of customer service. The owner did not really seem to care about my satisfaction or that his staff had not done what they said they would and call me. Additionally, my old battery is still (2 weeks later) working great, so I really didn't need a new one. But shame on me for trusting a professional. Also, I paid at least $20 or 25% more than if I had just bought it on Amazon or somewhere else online. Again shame on me for not doing the research. read more
