It is somewhat of a trek to get to this place from anywhere, but if one is looking for a quiet quality dinner or a relaxing drink, this is the place. I had the roast cod for dinner, and my girlfriend had the fish pie. The were both really good; the cod was well cooked and was quite a generous portion, but the sauce tasted like Bovril/Marmite which kinda ruined the taste. However, after the first taste it was better. I suspect that the chef used some kind of salty sauce, sort of a westernized miso paste, but miso would have been a much better, and safer, choice. My partner's fish pie was better than the cod, and if I ever go back I would probably order that. It comes in a nice ceramic pot, and was full of flavour and fish. The only downside was that it was so small. it looked more like a side dish than a main course, and I'm sure I could have finished two or three of them!! I'm not quite decided if I will go back again. Certainly not worth traveling very far for. But they do serve good quality seafood. Price wise its cheaper than seafood restaurants downtown, but still quite pricey.

In all honesty, the flavors here weren't to my taste (I found them way too muted) but I assume the flavors are more tailored to the British palate so hopefully Londoners find it to their liking. You have a choice between a la carte or various sampling menus. Word to the wise, if one person wants to do the full tasting menu, all people on the table must. We got the new 7 course tasting menu which was probably the best value at 99 GBP per person. The food here was chic and well done. Our best bite was the first course which was the scallop with a potato crisp. The pigeon was also pretty good although their beef cheek pasta was way too salty. Desserts were also meh but I attribute this to my tastes not being accustomed to what floats the London diner's boat. Service was very good and the dining area is spacious and comfortable. The views are great, most definitely worth a trip if you're looking to grab a fancy meal.

And here we go, that's exactly what it was. I tried Kugelis which were kind of mashed potatoes with meat and sour cream and my friend had something that I don't remember the name but was also some potato balls with meat and sour cream. We also had some beetroot and yogurt soup which was delicious. The portions were huge and I couldn't even finish half of mine. The restaurant itself is in a shopping center but apart from that it looks actually quite nice. The theme is like the name Lituanica, which is a plane that flew from the United States across the Atlantic Ocean by Lithuanian-American pilots in 1933. After successfully flying most of the distance it crashed 650 km from its destination in Lithuania. There are pictures of the plane and the pilots and that's pretty cool. The food wasn't really my taste (apart from the soup) and it felt a bit like a cantine but my Lithuanian friend likes it so it must be authentic.

As with the hotel, they are going for a modern decor, with lots of highly polished black surfaces. The bar had a combination of seating, with the traditional stools at the bar and some comfortable lounge chairs. The bar is a good meeting up place to get primed for somewhere else. If I could rate the bar itself, it would be a solid 3. The restaurant is spacious and has a pleasant decor. The menu however is somewhat limited, offering several cuts of meats, fowl and fish. For my taste the food preparation is a bit on the exotic side and along with this comes the smaller portions. Very nice presentations, but when your hungry, I'd rather see at least 80% of the plate filled with food... here you get the opposite, 90% plate that looks pretty, with the food almost being an afterthought.
