London Coffee Peddler is a wonderful find. It's located in the town of London. There isn't much going on, and there aren't many good restaurants. It caters mainly to bicyclists. This is along a popular bike trail. I had the regular coffee with the vanilla syrup added. It's about $3 for the regular size. This is a much better value than that big coffee chain, and the service is friendlier too. It's very welcoming if you're on a bike. There's a discount for having a bike helmet. If you like bicycles and coffee, London Coffee Peddler is somewhere you should go. It's located off the bike trail along Main Street. There's street parking for cars too. read more

If you are traveling through London on the bike path, then this is a place you have to stop. Even if you don't like coffee, they can help you fix your bike, talk about bikes, sell you a bike, or tell you which way to go. The service is extremely friendly and the coffee selection is fantastic. I have spoken with the owner a couple times about bicycles and he is tremendously knowledgeable. I really like this place. Great little place to stop by!!!! The interior has its own charm, not the same as some generic coffee chain! The owner is very nice and interacts with you. The chatting comes easy! This also doubles as a bike repair shop conveniently located close to the bike path! Hemisphere Roasters is locally roasted coffee that tastes better than any other coffee around. I happened upon this place during a bike ride through London on the Roberts Pass trail. The shop definitely caters to cyclists. Very friendly - the owner provided a lot of good info on the local cycling scene and rides to try out. I live out of town but have close family that lives in London that I visit frequently. My family doesn't drink coffee and as for me I'm not sure how I thrive without a cup a day. The London Coffee Peddler is an superb place to stop for a coffee if riding a bicycle to or through London on the Ohio to Erie Trail. I roll in on the Roberts Pass from Columbus via the Camp Chase Trail and get a cup of coffee, rest and talk bicycles and have comradery with those who are in there if I'm not the only one there. London is 22 miles west of my Columbus home and the coffee is good, inexpensive and the shop offers to fill your bicycle water bottles too with cold water, particularly helpful if riding further west. I warmed up in there one morning after coming across from Columbus in December coolness with the thermometer displaying 23° to 26° for the entire ride over. The only catch with London Coffee Peddler is that you have to catch the right hours, currently just 7:30 am until One o' clock pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am until 1pm on Saturday, and no Sunday hours. If you ride afternoons and evenings, you will have to go somewhere else. read more

Love this place! Conveniently located close to the bike path. Kate, the barista, knows her stuff. My toffee blended latte is perfect every time. I love the Morning Glory muffins but they have several types of muffins to choose from. The egg fritatas are also good. We stopped here on a chilly, rainy morning before starting a 40 mile bike ride. It was the perfect place to start the day. Kate was there running everything and was a fun, engaging "barista". She was full of information for us. Turns out, the owner is an avid bicyclist - he wasn't there, but Kate was chock full of biking info. The place has bicycle decor. My family is now on a first name basis with Mike and Kate now that we come here almost every morning. Mike is one of the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, guys out there. He's fixed numerous bikes and issues for us. The coffee is always delicious and never takes too long to serve up. An out-of-towner home at the in-laws' for Christmas. Stopped there for a good cup of coffee and a quiet place to work. The owners were super-friendly to all the people in front of me, even explained how the rewards system worked. But not so for me. No explanation, no sleeve punched. Mocha was weak and watery. Shouldn't take me 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee when there are only 5 people in the entire store. Seems catered to cyclists (a very good thing!) but not coffee afficionados. read more

had a great time this past weekend biking the camp chase trail and stopping here in london. kate is very helpful, friendly and makes a great glass of cold green tea. place is well-stocked with biking info., cool shirts and overall great biking ambiance. we exchanged conversation with those at the coffee shop and enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich on croissant which was very, very tasty...just enough to get us back on the trail...kudos to these great people, their knowledge and dedication to bicyclists; and keep up the great work!!! we will definitely stop here again passing thru. also, railroad crossing right outside helps to give this a middle heartland america small-town appeal.
