I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.

When the stove came, the coils had a safety feature that do not allow the maximum temperature to stay consistent. There is a sensor that drops the temperature down once a maximum temperature is reached. This makes cooking extremely ineffective as a consistent temperature is not maintained and it takes much longer to do anything. I contacted Coast Appliances and was told that I could not return or exchange this brand new stove because it was a special order as it was ordered online (I did not note a "special order" anywhere online when I ordered) - moreover, they said that my only option was to purchase a new stove as all the coils from 2018 onwards are produced like this. They basically said that the sensi temp coils were mentioned on the website (I went back under features and checked and it did not state this), and also that I had plugged the stove in to test it, nothing further could be done. I will not recommend to anyone and please avoid the hassel of online purchases for appliances so you don't find yourself in the same boat!

He promptly identified the pump that failed in my washer and had a replacement in his vehicle. Took him a few minutes and the deed was done! He left me the parts to verify the work (thank you!) I appreciated his care and cleaning up making the work look effortless (and I know it wasn't!). He had to make some electrical connections for the replacement pump and it was working on no time! I will happily pay for his expertise any day!

One bed frame broke, and another set has drawer issues. I contacted warranty, and to their credit, they came out quickly in September. I was told parts were ordered and it would take about 90 days. Almost a month later, I received a call stating that the bed I own has been discontinued, and instead of replacing it, they offered me $117 for the bed. I questioned how a company can sell a warranty on a product they can't properly replace or honor. Since then, I have called numerous times asking to speak with a manager, and oddly, there is never a manager available. I was told today that Raya would call me back still no call. I also followed up on my son's dresser parts, which are well over the 90-day timeline. I was told the parts actually arrived on January 14, meaning they've had them for two weeks with no call or follow-up. When I pointed this out, I explained calmly why I'm frustrated because this entire process has been one delay after another. I purchased full warranty coverage for peace of mind, and instead I've had to chase updates, wait months, and get inconsistent information. I bought complete bedroom sets for my children -- not individual pieces, and I expect the warranty I paid for to be honored properly. At this point, the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.
